About us
Who we are
Established in 2007, the Separated Child Foundation offers practical, emotional, and social support to separated children and young people in Britain who are asylum seekers or refugees.
The children we support arrive with nothing, having fled their homeland because of war, terror, or persecution. They experience the double trauma of separation not only from their homeland, culture, and natural environment but also from the adults in their family who gave them care.
Our culture and values
It is our mission to ensure that separated children receive the support they need to rebuild their lives and fulfil their potential.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We’re committed to creating a team of staff, Trustees and volunteers that truly reflects the diverse nature of our society, including the children and young people that we support.
