We are recruiting for a Sanctuary & Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) who is passionate about supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
The Sanctuary & Housing IGVA recognises that many survivors will approach Housing at moments of crisis when they are either considering fleeing or have already fled. The sanctuary & housing IGVA will carry a caseload of survivors and their children that require additional support, also will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
Where sanctuary is the most appropriate option you will ensure that all survivors who benefit from the installation of target-hardening provisions within their home will be able to access wrap-around support to ensure that, once the installations are in place, they can rebuild their lives and recover from their experiences of domestic abuse.

About the Role
As Young People Support Worker you will work under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for a caseload of clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service. You will participate in our programme of meaningful activity by running group sessions and activities within the accommodation to support young people’s individual development and social engagement.

Property Service Inspector (Stock Condition Lead) - £42,558 pa
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Property Services Inspector (Stock Condition Lead) to join our dedicated team. The main responsibility is to carry out stock condition surveys of the association’s properties as part of an ongoing program.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise in housing construction to conduct regular inspections and address any necessary actions to meet the high expectations of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering information on the condition of Hightown’s individual properties and buildings to assess their overall state, identify necessary repairs, pinpoint health and safety concerns, and ensure that properties remain fit for purpose while continuously meeting the Decent Homes Standard (DHS).
- Collaborate with the Property Services Co-ordinator to raise orders for necessary repairs identified during inspections, using a list of approved contractors, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly with minimal disruption to residents.
- Reports on stock condition assessments, detailing the volume of issues and any related concerns, as directed by the Senior Surveyor.
- Carry out regular Fire Risk Assessments in communal areas, identifying any issues and initiating necessary actions. Report defects to the appropriate authorities promptly as required.
- Conduct post-inspections of completed work, exercise financial oversight, and ensure invoices are processed and approved for payment in compliance with financial regulations.

Hope House provides support for 16 customers over 2 sites. The first site is a 10-bed supported housing unit and the second consists of 6 independent living flats. The supported housing unit has staff present 24 hours 7 days per week (with sleep- ins). Our customers residing in the independent living flats receive floating support during day-time hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and management reporting of the Association's debt portfolio, ensuring that all interest and other fee payments are correctly paid on time.

- Ensure the delivery of lenders’ information requirements in compliance with loan agreements.

We're looking to recruit a Trainee Advice and Assessment Worker to be the welcoming face for clients arriving at our centre for advice and support. We are excited to offer opportunities for people looking to take their first steps into the advice sector and this role will work towards a level 3 award in information advice and guidance, which will take about 12 months to complete. You'll learn the skills and gain experience in delivering support to vulnerable people, with a particular focus on housing and welfare rights.
This exciting role will manage the initial assessment with the client in an empathetic way and will liaise with internal teams and with external agencies including other NGOs and statutory bodies and refer/signpost clients to services which may be more appropriate for their needs. You will work with the assessment manager and the rest of the team to develop service delivery and the way we interact with internal and external service providers.
Once you have successfully completed the training programme, you will progress to an Advice and Assessment worker role.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the service through administrative, organisational and communication tasks that enable our Advisers to deliver high quality social welfare advice and casework.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience—ideally within the advice or charity sector—along with a working knowledge of issues such as welfare benefits or housing. Excellent IT, organisational and communication skills are essential, as is a sensitive and client-focused approach within a hospital environment. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a small supportive team. This hybrid role includes regular on-site presence at GOSH and requires the successful candidate to meet the honorary staff requirements of the hospital, including passing an enhanced DBS check and completing mandatory training.

Livingstone House is a 24 hour staffed 92 bed mix gender hostel, which provides short term supported housing for single homeless vulnerable people with Low to Medium support needs. Look ahead provides the support function and Riverside provides the housing management and night concierge. The Service provides on average 5 hours of weekly support to customers who reside in the hostel with the aim to provide them with the tools to move on within the community and live independently. On occasions, we may need support within our scattered sites based in Brent.
The Shift pattern of this role consist of Shift pattern 8am -4pm and 1.30pm - 9pm. Over a 7 day rota with 2 days off with weekend working
