The role

We are looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our Fundraising Team.  In this role you will lead on the development and delivery of the trust fundraising strategy. You will identify, research and develop applications and reporting to trusts, foundations and other grant making bodies to a high and consistent standard.

Working with colleagues across the organisation to gather input into proposals, this role will oversee the completion and submission of high-quality compliant proposals and funding applications within required timescales.

You will cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers within identified trusts, including the day-to-day management of new and existing funders.  You will provide regular reports on financial progress, including updates on the pipeline, prospecting, activation and grants received.

About you

For this role you will need a proven track record of meeting or exceeding income targets from trust fundraising.  You must have experience of securing one-off or multi-year grants of five figure sums or above.  You will also have significant experience of researching and writing detailed and compelling proposals for trusts. 

You must have excellent communication skills along with good research and numeracy skills. You will also be creative and innovative and have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to manage multiple applications.  You will have the drive to work independently to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in order to meet and exceed annual targets.

The post-holder will deliver a high quality, academically coherent and inclusive programme curriculum in line with the evolving EMHP National Curriculum, UCL and British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation standards. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of implementing CBT-informed interventions for low mood and anxiety as well evidence-based interventions for behavioural difficulties in educational settings; have a strong, demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and education and have experience in curriculum design, assessment and teaching in Higher Education.

The Role Within Unseen

Unseen provides support to people who have experienced Modern Slavery and Human trafficking and actively champions capturing voices in our work and providing development opportunities for those we are working with. Unseen also engages with a range of external partners to promote and facilitate person-centered and survivor informed responses to exploitation.

We develop evidence-based research and policy recommendations that are built from our support and collaboration work with survivors, key statutory service partners and NGOs. The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support the Policy & Research work of the organisation and support in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership to ensure delivery of real and tangible benefits for everyone involved, especially potential victims and survivors.

Purpose of the role

The Policy & Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of Policy & Research projects and the collation of lived experience voices into our research work. You will work closely with the Policy & Partnerships Manager, the Survivor Involvement Coordinator, Senior Caseworkers and Unseen’s Survivor Consultant Volunteers and be responsible for the survivor consultant focus groups.

You will also support the Policy & Partnerships Manager in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership. Unseen facilitates the Avon & Somerset Anti-Slavery Partnership board, the Regional Anti-Slavery Partnership board and Bristol Modern Slavery Operational Partnership. We also support the chairs of other force area partnerships in the region and act as a point of contact in the Southwest, providing advice and guidance to partners and promoting proactive activity to eliminate Modern Slavery.

You will work closely with Unseen’s Policy & Research Team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Support Services, Fundraising, Media & Communications and Operations.

The Coproduction Service Manager is responsible for the operational leadership of coproduction, involvement and engagement. This includes managing service delivery, developing new opportunities for lived experience engagement, and ensuring optimal beneficiary outcomes across Greater Manchester, in true partnership with people with lived and living experience. This role, the Fundraising CRM Transformation Data Manager will help us to transform the technology that underpins all our fundraising activities as we embark on moving from Raiser’s Edge 7 to Dynamics 365.

Job Summary 

Reporting to the Head of IT, this position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the IT network within CARE International UK and the all the European Offices. The 2nd Line Support Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within CARE Offices. This involves outsourced IT capacity of five European Offices and managing the network for an organization of c.200 people working in the UK and in the developing world. The Second line support Engineers main goal is to ensure the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for users.

The main areas of responsibility will be as follows:

The position will involve some travel to other countries within the Care International confederation - This is mainly for IT projects, brief meetings and working groups as required.

About you

The IT team is looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and professional 2nd Line Support Engineer with considerable experience working as a network/infrastructure engineer at various levels. We are looking for an individual with experience in cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud migration methodologies, scripting languages (PowerShell) and knowledge of ITIL frameworks. You will also have excellent technical skills – network/hardware/software with the ability to see things through to completion by using excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

The 2nd Line Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the IT network within CARE International UK and the all the European Offices. The role will also support the full range of IT servers, networking, computer problems, installing and configuring systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults, and solving technical application issues in person or via remote connections. It is therefore essential that the applicant is aware this role requires a wide range of server, O365, application, and network skill set to deliver a first-class support service and ensure IT Support runs within agreed SLAs.
