Responsibilities of our Senior Management Accountant:
- Responsible for the provision and development of management reporting
- Provide financial insight and expertise to support well-informed financial decision-making and delivery for the charity’s plans
- Facilitate and manage the budget and forecast processes, produce monthly management accounts and reports
- Develop strong working relationships across the charity, building business partnering capability in the team and ensuring high quality support and expertise is provided to all directorates

About the Finance team:
- Responsible for managing the financial operations of the Charity
- Plays a vital role in the organisation’s success by ensuring sound financial management, better informed decision making and supporting delivery of the overall strategy
- Responsibility for key tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting and analysis
- The Management Accountant team are a team of five, reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, all of whom support the Head of Budgeting & Reporting
- The wider Finance team includes the Operational Finance team, including AP, financial accounting and payroll
What we’re looking for in our Senior Management Accountant::
- CCAB qualified accountant
- Experience working with accounting software and systems
- Experience working in a senior Management Accountant role in a large organisation (250+ employees)
- Experience working with budget holders as well as providing support and advice around financial management issues
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly in Excel
- Excellent people management, communication and organisational skills

The Finance Officer is part of the Organisational Support and Development (OSD) team at the Tax Justice Network, which is led by the Director of OSD, and the role reports to the Head of Finance and Reporting. The OSD team leads and delivers on a range of operational services from finance management, risk management, project management, event management, human resources, IT systems and other enabling functions. The team is also responsible for fundraising for the organisation. This includes respond to calls for proposals, track funding opportunities and engage with donors regularly.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake the day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking payroll and general ledger maintenance
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial records and keeping a clear audit trail of all financial records
- Manage the staff payroll process including pension, HMRC and other related processes
- Manage the periodic payment runs and ensure that all payments are paid on time
- Supporting financial planning and reporting for project proposals, project reporting and management reports

About the role
The senior marketing manager is a new role within the community and events function at Breast Cancer Now. We have ambitious plans for growth across this area of fundraising and believe that this role will be pivotal to the success of this.
With a team of two including a manager and an officer, this role will support the teams’ delivery of the existing marketing portfolio, including community fundraising activity and a range of third-party events. In addition, this role will also oversee the overarching campaign for the Pink Ribbon Walk series, the charity’s flagship walking product. Donor Management (~40%)

SOS Children’s Villages UK is part of a global federation, founded in 1949. SOS Children’s Villages exists to ensure that each child and young person grows up with the healthy relationships they need to become their strongest selves. Working in over 130 countries, we are the world’s largest non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children and young people who don’t have, or who are at risk of losing, parental care.
The Senior Programme Manager is an exciting new role that will oversee the vital processes we use to maintain oversight of programmes funded by SOS Children’s Villages UK.
You will:
- spearhead a new, transformative programme aimed at delivering real, positive change for children and families, requiring an ambitious leader committed to making a lasting difference.
- work collaboratively, with two direct reports, to capture and communicate the powerful impact of our work to stakeholders both within and beyond SOS Children’s Villages.
We are looking for an organised, experienced individual with strong project management skills and a background in international development or a related field.
