Job Summary
The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.
Job responsibilities
Financial support

Enable churches to develop their respective ministries, manage their finances effectively, and meet their statutory responsibilities.

Provide finance and other appropriate training, support, resources and advice to the clergy, PCCs and parish officers.

Assist the Bishop, Archdeacons and Area Deans in managing Common Fund giving by the churches in the Area.

The Yehudi Menuhin School (YMS), a specialist music school based in Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham, Surrey takes great pride in pupils growth, shaping a positive, supportive learning environment.
The School is looking for a Marketing Executive to start as soon as possible on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week) to support the Director of Development and Marketing with marketing campaigns, events, digital marketing, and the creation of marketing materials. Branding
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure that all communications and marketing are delivered in accordance with brand standards.
Fundraising
- Support fundraising activity by publicising donor and supporter events, generating ideas to increase philanthropic support for the School, and ensure supporters are acknolwedged appropriately in all marketing materials.
Database Management
- Develop and maintain a marketing database for the School and the Hall.
Events

Street Child (SC) is a rapidly growing, child-focused, humanitarian, and development organisation. In 2023, Street Child celebrated reaching over 1.5 million children across 25 countries over its fifteen years of existence. This was accomplished with and through a growing network of more than 200 national and local actors.
Street Child has been operating in Mozambique since 2019, focusing on Cabo Delgado province. Its portfolio currently includes around $1 million dedicated to child protection and education in emergencies programming. Most programme implementation is done through local partners, supported by a team of 10 team members.
Role Purpose:
As Country Director for Street Child in Mozambique, you will lead our team in achieving our mission to keep all children safe, in school, and learning. Reporting to the East & Southern Africa Regional Director and working closely with Country Head of Programmes, your primary goals will be to build a high-performing and cohesive team, provide visionary leadership, drive programme growth, and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive our mission forward.

- Serve as Street Child's primary advocate and spokesperson in Mozambique and promoting our mission and values.
- Act as a sectoral leader, capturing lessons to strengthen our approaches, and sharing Street Child's learning internally and externally.
- Engage with government officials, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to influence policy decisions and drive systemic change in support of vulnerable populations.
- Represent Street Child at forums, conferences, and working groups, advocating for locally led response alongside the right to education for all in Mozambique.
Risk, Compliance & Security Management:
- Ensure Street Child safety and security protocols are in place and being followed, with clear measures for risk mitigation and crisis management.
- Take overall responsibility for the safety, security, and risk management of all Street Child Mozambique staff, programs, and operations.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies to protect program participants, particularly children.
- Conduct regular assessments of partner organizations to ensure compliance with Street Child’s standards and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive 8-10 years’ experience in the humanitarian or development sector, with a strong track record of team building, business development, and operational management.
- Experience in overseeing or delivering education, child protection, and/or livelihoods programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, program management, and resource mobilization, with a focus on sustainable impact.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese, written and spoken. Fluent Spanish or Italian are acceptable in the absence of Portuguese.

We’re looking for a manager to lead on our two brand new Art Projects: Art Group and Art Hub. This is an exciting and varied role for someone who is creative, has a genuine passion for working with people and who has good project management skills.
The right candidate will have experience of taking original art, creating it into sellable products e.g prints, putting onto cards, mugs, tea towels (to name a few possibilities!) and successfully marketing for sale and/or they will hold a relevant degree with the ability to demonstrate that they have the skills to do this.

Art School: Background Information to the Art Projects
We ran a Community Art School for adult artists with learning disabilities for two years from 2022 – 2024 thanks to funding from the National Lottery. Over the course of the project we worked with over 40 artists with learning disabilities & autism. Art School was a non-directive art group, a place where neurodiverse adults met to create art that was important to them and reflected who they are as individuals. Neurodiverse people can feel pressure to ‘mask’ who they truly are to fit into society’s accepted norms. We wanted to offer a space where neurodiverse adults could authentically express themselves. This group was led by an autistic art facilitator.
Art Group
We have started a new weekly Art Group in partnership with the charity East London Textile Arts (ELTA). This is a mixed ability group where artists with and without learning disabilities from ELTA and Hopeful Futures come together to work on heritage themed projects for exhibition. You will be responsible for the overall management for the Hopeful Futures part of this group.
Art Hub
Our new Art Hub is all about ‘our work is valuable to our community’. You will be responsible for the running of two weekly art hub sessions at Rosetta Arts in Westham where seven artists with a learning disability at each session will create their own pieces of work through the guidance and support of a qualified art tutor. You will be responsible for helping each artist to develop their work into sellable products and raising their profiles as individual artists.

The overarching governing body of the Mission is the Board of Mission Without Borders International. The International Board are seeking a senior International Fundraising Director who will help drive our fundraising strategy by strengthening and diversifying our fundraising sources. The Mission requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in international fundraising who will inspire our international fundraising teams to differentiate and grow income as we enter this new phase of strategic growth.
The International Fundraising Director will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the Mission’s National Fundraising Directors. They will: implement and manage the diversification of income, including major donor income and field sourced income; work closely with the digital team in fundraising and communication; engage with field countries on beneficiary management and sponsor engagement; lead on impact reporting and work with other members of IET to lead the executive and operational elements of the Mission.
A strong communicator and strategic thinker with practical fundraising experience, they will be an experienced leader and innovative thinker focused on the development of a team and capable of working well with the existing team. They will have significant practical experience of major donors, trusts and foundations, institutional, and corporate fundraising together with a deep understanding of individual fundraising through sponsorship and appeals.
Primary responsibilities
Donor development and outreach
· To provide strategic direction, leadership and drive for fundraising in all new development areas across the Mission. They will have direct responsibility for raising funds at the international level with a specific focus on driving forward major donors, trusts and institutions income as this is currently an underdeveloped source of income for the Mission. They will also lead the development of field sourced fundraising.
· Deliver strategic plans for driving income growth, diversifying income sources and improving donor engagement by incorporating traditional and digital fundraising methods.
· Lead the International Fundraising Team to deliver strategic objectives across all fundraising channels, support National Fundraising Directors, create a collaborative fundraising culture across the organization internationally, and monitor fundraising metrics to deliver growth and efficiency.
· Create a donor-centric fundraising culture, implementing systems and reporting to deliver effective supporter journeys across all disciplines.
· Lead in understanding fundraising trends and working with National Fundraising Directors to improve agility in response to these trends and detailed data analysis of internal trends.
· Define and drive the annual calendar of global fundraising campaigns, supporting materials, driving communications and assessing impact.
· Understand and engage in corporate change program delivery, providing input and leadership to ensure that donor and beneficiary journeys are linked.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures, particularly around major donors to ensure local and international consistency and compliance.

· Oversight of the annual and rolling five-year budgets to ensure local and international fundraising achieve the Mission’s overall strategic goals for income and related expenditure.

· Drive consistency in restricted and unrestricted giving reporting.
Leadership and management
· Work with the International Executive Team to drive the Mission’s international strategy.
· Collaborate with and coach the National Fundraising Directors to meet strategic goals.
· Nurture team members in excellence in operational tasks as well as personal development, ensuring an engaged and fulfilled team.
· Participate in Mission events, training and conferences to engage and inspire peers to drive strategic goals and ensure best practice.

Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Programme Officer who will contribute to the effective design and delivery of CBM UK’s development and humanitarian programmes, excellent donor, country team and partners relationships, collecting and applying learning and evidence of impact, and effective collaboration with the fundraising, communications and advocacy functions of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Within twelve months, the Senior Programme Officer will:

Essential Criteria
- At least two years’ experience of working in a busy marketing/ communications role
- Strong copy writing skills, with excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Track record of increasing community engagement
- Experience of using CMS, CRM systems plus digital marketing and social media platforms
- Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously and to competing deadlines
- Excellent time management skills and a demonstrable ability to multitask
- Good level of IT competency and experience of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Builds strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and works well with others
- Approachable and professional communication style
- Excellent attention to detail and an analytical and interpretative mindset
- An enthusiasm for education and the independent school system
Desirable
- Experience of using Google Analytics
- Experience of design work such as use of Canva and Adobe
- Understanding of GDPR legislation
- Good financial acumen with strong numeracy
- Previous experience of working at a charitable organisation and/ or an understanding of fundraising
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.30am to 5.00pm with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break (37.5 hours per week). In addition to this, the post-holder will be required to work some evenings and weekend events for which time in lieu will be given.
Remuneration:
The salary for this role will be £30,000 per annum.
Holidays:
23 days, plus bank holidays increasing to 28 days plus bank holidays after 2 years of service (of which 3 days need to be taken between Christmas and New Year when the College is closed)
