The new Fundraising Officer will be engaged with our mission and eloquent in their expression of our impact. They will work closely with our Impact, Monitoring and Pathways Lead to better present our outcome messaging to funders and will also work closely with our Communications and Events Officer to plan and deliver community-based fundraising activities for our supporters to engage in. They’ll be creative and great at telling our story and matching our work with the priorities of different stakeholders.

About the role
We seek a Programme and Project Officer, a new role that will work across our diverse portfolio, including our innovative Net Zero programme, South Bank Business Improvement District (BID), and projects for Jubilee Gardens Trust.
This role involves coordinating and delivering projects aligned with our relevant strategies and objectives, working on specific programmes, and supporting key initiatives. You will collaborate closely with partners involved in our Net Zero Steering Group and also Jubilee Gardens Trust. You will be involved in numerous partnership focused meetings, preparing project reports, and ensuring communication and follow-up with internal and external colleagues.
Stakeholder engagement is key, requiring liaison with various organisations - including SBEG members - managing task groups, and establishing partnership contracts. You’ll also identify resources, scope funding opportunities, manage finances and procurement, and be involved in marketing and communication efforts to keep stakeholders informed.
Who we are looking for
We seek someone with experience in overseeing and managing projects and being involved in relevant programmes relating to the management of urban areas, and / or net zero, sustainability and the climate challenge. Candidates will have experience of contract management, including negotiation and tender processes, and at least three years in multi-agency or partnership settings. A proven track record in project management and experience with local authorities, the private sector, and community organisations is essential.
You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for external audiences, and advocacy abilities suited to complex stakeholder environments. You need to be action-oriented, capable of managing a varied workload, and skilled in attention to detail. Experience in working with and engaging with diverse organisations and presenting business cases is crucial.

Summary of the role
Our successful charity runs pathways which focus on employability and skills for everyday living to help young people, with SEN and learning disabilities to gain confidence and social support, alongside nationally recognised qualifications. Green Corridor requires the skills of an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant, who can work effectively with our learners who each have their own additional needs. The candidate we require should ideally have experience and/or affinity for working with young adults with Special Educational Needs. The role would involve supporting learners within their subject area, and functional skills, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Specific duties and responsibilities of the role
Supporting Young People
- To work with the tutor to establish an appropriate learning environment.
- To work with the tutor on lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lesson/work plans as appropriate.
- To monitor and evaluate learners’ responses to learning activities through observations and planned recording of achievement against learning objectives.
- To use specialist skills to support learners’ learning such as PECS, Makaton, symbols and iPads.
- To assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of learning programmes and individual work plans.

The role:
This person will have responsibility for the management, maintenance and improvement of the 185 acres of sports, nature areas, heritage parkland and gardens for the benefit of the local community and beyond. This will involve extensive horticultural management responsibilities in addition to a broad range of support, logistical and administrative activities. These will include extensive stakeholder engagement, contract management, finance and budgeting, public health and safety, procurement and team member management and development. This is a very broad role with a wide array of systems management and day to day park management responsibilities. This person will also be a true ambassador for the Park, both with members of the public and those who come into contact with the Park professionally.
The person:
The successful candidate will have extensive Park Management experience in a similar sized public park or community green space. They will have experience of managing service contracts, managing in-house teams, developing volunteer and outreach programs and ideally, of successfully applying for Grant funding in similar spaces and delivering on these agreements. A warm and approachable person, the ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Park management and involving the public in regular use and patronage of these special green spaces. This person will also be numerate and well-organised with good logistical, administrative and back office management experience.

OVERVIEW
The Masonic Charitable Foundation is looking for an experienced adviser to join our frontline Advice, Support & Enquiries Team managing all enquiries via the advice line and electronic/mail channels. Each month we receive hundreds of phone calls and emails from people who need our help. The team’s Advisers are often the first point of contact with the MCF and play a key role in our grants process.
You will need excellent customer service skills, a high level of personal resilience, ability to quickly build a good rapport with callers and be a team player who is willing to support colleagues and prioritise the needs of the team. Previous experience in a comparable role is desirable.
Day to day responsibilities include answering calls and responding to emails from individuals and families for a range of support (including daily living costs, health and care and education), liaising with our Advice and Support Advisers and Visiting Volunteers, awarding grants for counselling and consultations and keeping the grants system up to date.

The Role

We are recruiting a General Advice Officer to support with the delivery of advice and welfare support to guests who access Sufra’s Food Bank, Community Kitchen and the Community Wellbeing Project. The General Advice Officer will support our guests on a range of areas including benefits, immigration, housing, wellbeing, money management and access to training and employment services. The post-holder will provide high quality welfare advice and guidance through weekly one-to-one advice sessions, undertake case work, work with partners to facilitate referrals, and provide support to advice volunteers.
The successful candidate must have at least two years’ experience delivering effective advice in a similar capacity, demonstrate empathy, an understanding of the issues facing vulnerable people, and have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of welfare benefits with a strong focus on achieving tangible outcomes for our guests.

Summary
This role sits within the Research and Operations Team in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department. The post holder will work closely with frontline fundraisers to provide insight and guidance relating to the management and identification of new prospects as well as wider reporting and data management activities. By providing effective pipeline and data management, the post holder will support sustained income generation for the charity.

Main Responsibilities
This role forms an essential part of our high-value fundraising operation by working closely with fundraisers to identify and prioritise prospects through thorough desk-based research. The post holder will also be responsible for effective administration of the charity's partnership approvals process and will be instrumental to the effective rollout and adoption of the new CRM in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Department.

We're looking for someone methodical and diligent, who is comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate will have a high-level of computer literacy, particularly in relation to reporting and data management tools, but also the curiosity and tenacity to help us find the next major partner for Diabetes UK.
