The Community Fundraising and Communications Coordinator will

• Lead on LASSN's Community Fundraising – responsible for developing and delivering a community fundraising strategy that maximises the amount of funds generated by volunteers and supporters, local community groups and individuals.
• Lead on the implementation (and review) of LASSN's communications strategy - ensuring that LASSN's staff, volunteers and experts by lived experience, are central to the production and promotion of LASSN's key messages; the work and impact of LASSN are shared effectively with key audiences; communications support and enhance LASSN's fundraising efforts.

The person we appoint will

• Share LASSN's commitment to ensuring asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants at risk of harm are safe, respected, supported and empowered to rebuild their lives free of persecution;
• Have a successful track record of identifying and supporting individuals, groups and institutions to raise funds for values-led organisations or charities like LASSN.
• Be an excellent communicator, in person, online, and in print, and be committed to building the confidence and capabilities of everyone at LASSN.
• Understand the strengths and potential of different communication platforms (e.g., print, social media, film) and be able to use these to convey the values and impact of LASSN's work.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Growth & Branding, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the fundraising function across Enable’s diverse services.

• Proven Fundraising experience within a not for profit environment

We are looking for an organised and creative Project Manager to coordinate our ongoing multi-million pound appeal. The campaign is funding specialist nurses and therapists for Parkinson’s, making a huge difference to the lives of people living with the condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition, and this work is one of the charity’s top strategic priorities for 2024 and 2025 and a crucial fundraising and communications priority.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fundraising and communications teams across the charity, including Philanthropy, Trusts, Commercial Partnerships and Special Events, with a growing focus on Individual Giving, Events, Community and Supporter Experience as the appeal builds momentum. 

We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed diverse projects, and also has experience of working in one or more of these fundraising disciplines to ensure they can hit the ground running. • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Fundraising Directorate to identify existing and new supporters to share appeal plans and materials with

• Set and update specific targets for the appeal and track financial performance from pipeline through to banked income.

• Experience of planning and project managing fundraising appeals and campaigns (or similar complex projects), leading to achievement of goals and targets. 

• Highly organised and able to manage a range of activities across different teams, encouraging and motivating colleagues to support the project goals and creating compelling project updates and reports. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident working with key stakeholders at many levels within the charity. 

• Knowledge of key fundraising disciplines, including having worked with high value audiences or experience of digital marketing and engagement.

2024 marks a hugely important milestone for the Latymer Foundation - its their 400th anniversary!

The Latymer Foundation at Hammersmith was established in 1624 by Edward Latymer, a lawyer and local landowner, with the aim of offering financial support to eight children living in the area, providing them with clothes and giving them an education. An education which would not otherwise have been possible for them to access.

Today, the Foundation runs Latymer Upper and Prep School and one of its main aims is to provide bursaries (financial support for school fees) to as many local children as possible, ensuring that any promising and talented child can access a first-class Latymer education, regardless of their family's financial situation.

As of September 2023, the Foundation is supporting bursaries for 1 in every 5 students at Latymer Upper School, and is aiming to increase this to 1 in 4 students by 2024.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Fundraising Manager is a key member of a sector leading development team. Latymer's bursary programme is one of the most successful in any UK independent school. Since 2002, the number of pupils receiving means tested support has grown from just 7 to more than 280 as of September 2023, the majority of whom receive between 75-100% fee remission.

This growth has only been possible thanks to philanthropy through the Latymer community: parents, alumni, Governors, staff, and students.

The Fundraising Manager is at the heart of the community fundraising, focussing on the full cycle of cultivation, solicitation and stewardship

Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver the strategy and tactics to increase giving and participation in support of our annual bursaries appeals (including Upper School and Prep) using a range of channels and touchpoints (e.g. DM, digital, phone campaign, events, face to face)
* Design the stewardship matrix and tactics to thank our supporters and develop compelling content that surprises and delights our donors, including events and the delivery of our annual campaign impact report, Campaign Review

Purpose of the Post/Responsibilities

This is a full-time position reporting directly into the CEO/CFO with an expectation of being on site in the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire a minimum of 3 days a week, depending on meetings and events.  We are seeking an inspirational leader with the ability to identify opportunities and grow diverse income lines to support the Charity’s expanding service delivery.

Responsible for the strategic management and development of the Charity’s income generation, this role will play a pivotal part in taking the Charity to the next level and helping to change the lives of disabled children across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will oversee the main public-facing fundraising activity for the Charity, providing strategic leadership and tactical supervision to a growing team of Fundraisers.

You will be expected to develop a robust and diverse fundraising portfolio across several designated income strands to generate increasing levels of fundraising income year-on-year.

It has been recognised that the Charity currently has minimal market share in most standard charity income lines and this role will be fundamental in developing the required infrastructure, resource and ‘products’ to begin growing market share over the medium to long term.

A primary responsibility of the role will be to assess, develop and implement a new donor management system; ensuring new and existing supporters have a clear communication and cultivation journey with assigned fundraisers adopting relationship responsibilities throughout.

The required standard levels of customer service and donor management for all supporter relations across the Charity will be established and promoted to ensure the required levels of consistency.

This growth will occur while maintaining and strengthening the established income lines which already exist, such as Events and Challenges.

Events are a part of Caudwell Children’s DNA and the single largest income generator in the Charity’s Fundraising Department, therefore there will be a specific focus on maintaining and developing this important department.

The role will initially be responsible for developing two designated teams of fundraising colleagues:

• Individual Giving (Team size: 3)
  • (Wills & Legacy, Regular Gifts/Direct Debit, Major Gifts, Raffle/Lottery, Payroll Giving).
• Community Fundraising (Team size: 6)
  • (Events, Challenges, Mass Participation, Street Collections).

Remaining income streams (Trusts & Foundations, Public Sector Funding, Earned Income and Trading Income) will be managed by the Director of Corporate Fundraising.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the CEO/CFO and fellow Directors regularly on strategy and performance.

Monthly reporting to the Trustee Board and regular ad-hoc correspondence with Trustees will also be required.  

Success will be monitored annually by the Trustee Board against KPI’s including income growth, ROI and market share.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented fundraiser to join our small and supportive team. The Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations & Events) is a new role to our charity and will play a key part in supporting our future plans.

UP attracts significant support from individuals, and there is huge potential to grow income from Trusts and Foundations with this increased capacity in the fundraising team.

In this role, with guidance from the Head of Fundraising, you will contribute toward income generation through researching and identifying Trusts and Foundations whose criteria match UP’s work, and developing compelling and inspirational proposals and grant applications. You will maintain the Trusts and Foundations pipeline, ensuring there is a steady stream of applications submitted to maximise funding opportunities, grow income and the number of multi-year grants.

While the primary focus for this role will be to grow income from Trusts & Foundations, you will also support the Head of Fundraising to develop the philanthropy programme. This will include planning and bringing to life an exciting and varied programme of events to support the growth of Individual, major giving and corporate support and shape exceptional supporter experiences.

We are working with Ark Cancer Charity who are looking to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager with demonstrable success in fundraising and marketing, and charity governance knowledge.

Ark Cancer Charity is an ambitious award-winning cancer charity that has raised significant donations both for capital and revenue projects benefitting patients using cancer services at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT).

In this newly created post, the Fundraising Manager will work collaboratively with the charity’s board and Head of Charity to shape their income generation for the next three years to enable them to meet the demand for their unique patient centred wellbeing services.

With a hands-on approach you will have:

• At least three years charity/third sector experience, including in a management role and,
• Experience of operating and engaging within complex stakeholder networks, of building partnerships externally and of fulfilling an ambassadorial role.
• Developed multi-channel, multi-year fundraising plan(s), excellent budget management and work to an agreed financial target.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with trustee board members and effectively manage volunteers.
• Demonstrable fundraising success including securing donations from HNWIs, corporate partnerships and grant application writing (>£25K) plus an understanding of legacy fundraising.
• Campaign knowledge along with excellent digital marketing skills (social media, e-news marketing, website)
• Experience with regular charity reporting, excellent understanding of charity governance and charity commission requirements.

We are looking for someone strategic who has strong influencing and negotiating and problem-solving skills. Ideally you will have worked within a healthcare charity or NHS charity for at least two years and hold a relevant sector qualification such as CIoF or CIM, although this is not essential.

Pancreatic Cancer Action are excited to be seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Supporter Care and Fundraising Co-Ordinator to join our fabulous Fundraising Team.  This is a varied role where no two days will be the same.

Our incredible supporters are at the heart of all that we do at Pancreatic Cancer Action. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with our fantastic supporters daily. Providing them with the tools, knowledge and materials they need to help reach and exceed their fundraising targets. From head shaves to cake sales, dress-down days to extreme sports. You will be the first point of call for all fundraising enquiries and be on hand to provide bespoke stewardship support to ensure we develop long-lasting relationships with our PCA community, groups and companies across the UK.

 

Main responsibilities:  

• Provide admin and operational support to the Fundraising Team
• Accurately record and manage data using the Salesforce CRM system.
• Ensure that fundraisers and supporters get timely correspondents by email or phone.
• Inspire supporters through innovative new stewardship ideas, sending out relevant materials and offering support and advice to enhance their event/fundraising.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing supporters, helping them to exceed their fundraising targets and inspiring them to become life-long supporters.
• Update all event portals with fundraising details and complete the registration process on time.
• Monitor and input data from various fundraising platforms onto our Salesforce database to ensure accurate reporting on income from events/fundraising.
• Take ownership of fundraising tracker to ensure first class stewardship is provided to all supporters.
• Supporting community-based fundraising volunteers and groups.
• Work collaboratively with the fundraising and marketing team to ensure that email templates, cards and certificates remain up to date and relevant to our audiences.
• Work with the fundraising team to identify ways to surprise and delight our fundraisers and ultimately build long term relationships with a consistent approach.

THE ROLE

The Fundraising Officer/s will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. The role requires the development and implementation of strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. This position involves engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support for Islamic Help’s life-saving projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration with the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising, to identify specific programmes and funding priorities, and organise targeted fundraising campaigns.

• Monitor donor funding trends and priorities and communicate this information to the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising to ensure alignment with Islamic Help’s objectives.
• Plan and co-ordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives such as tours, treks, lectures, and dinners.
• Recruit, engage, and train volunteers to support fundraising activities and events.
• Track, monitor, and process pledges made by colleagues at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
• Monitor online donations and activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.
• Create promotional materials to support fundraising activities, including merchandise, banners, and other marketing collateral.
• Identify local, national, and international funding opportunities, and contribute to the development of Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy.
• Manage fundraising income by maintaining reports, tracking donations, and handling donor correspondence, and evaluate the success of fundraising activities.
• Identify partnership opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally for joint fundraising campaigns, aiming to expand Islamic Help’s capabilities in skills, expertise, and donor base.
• Represent Islamic Help positively in all aspects of your work, adhering to the organisation’s values.
• Operate in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure your actions maintain the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Participate in all training workshops and take responsibility for your personal learning and development.

StandOut support people leaving prison to realise their potential. Their programme empowers people to build a bridge from their life in prison to a bright future, leaving the criminal justice system behind for good. First in prison, and then in the community, StandOut equips people with the skills, confidence and mindset they need to succeed. Prospectus is excited to be helping in their recruitment of a Fundraising Officer (Trusts).

This is a part-time role (22.5 to 30hrs) with a salary between £28,000 and £31,000. StandOut are based in London and most work in a hybrid fashion.

Working alongside the Fundraising and Development Manager the Fundraising Officer (Trusts) will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, writing compelling proposals and driving ongoing engagement. Approximately 70% of income derives from trusts and foundations which provides a strong base of funders from which to work, ensuring long term, sustainable funding for the future of StandOut.

This role will suit someone with experience in a similar role where they have worked as a sole fundraiser or as part of a wider team. You will have a track record of writing compelling and successful funding proposals and a passion for criminal justice or wider social justice issues.
