THE ROLE
The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. The role requires the development and implementation of strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. This position involves engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support for Islamic Help’s life-saving projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In collaboration with the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising, to identify specific programmes and funding priorities, and organise targeted fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor donor funding trends and priorities and communicate this information to the Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising to ensure alignment with Islamic Help’s objectives.
- Plan and co-ordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives such as tours, treks, lectures, and dinners.
- Recruit, engage, and train volunteers to support fundraising activities and events.
- Track, monitor, and process pledges made by colleagues at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
- Monitor online donations and activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.
- Create promotional materials to support fundraising activities, including merchandise, banners, and other marketing collateral.
- Identify local, national, and international funding opportunities, and contribute to the development of Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy.
- Manage fundraising income by maintaining reports, tracking donations, and handling donor correspondence, and evaluate the success of fundraising activities.
- Identify partnership opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally for joint fundraising campaigns, aiming to expand Islamic Help’s capabilities in skills, expertise, and donor base.
- Represent Islamic Help positively in all aspects of your work, adhering to the organisation’s values.
- Operate in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure your actions maintain the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Participate in all training workshops and take responsibility for your personal learning and development.
- Collaborate closely as a team to ensure adequate coverage during key campaigns such as Ramadan, Qurbani, and emergency situations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by your line manager that are appropriate to your role within the organisation.

Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.
The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.

Key Areas
Marketing and stewardship
- Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.

Reporting and analysis
- Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant.
- Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
- Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
- Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
- Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.
General
- Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice.
- Identify new trends and scope out new product development.
- Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.

Our fundraising team raises vital income to enable us to care for people with life limiting illnesses in our community. We do this through events, activities or other platforms to promote the Hospice out in the community and are passionate about providing an excellent supporter experience. Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 (with flexibility required on occasion to support events and activities outside regular working hours). Full or Part-time applications considered, minimum of 28 hours per week.
What is the role?
The Fundraising Coordinator will be an integral part of the fundraising team, providing excellent administrative support for fundraising campaigns, events and in aid of fundraising. You will also be responsible for the administration of accurate supporter records and bookings, responding to enquiries and cultivating relationships with our supporters and volunteers. You will support the team to meet departmental targets and objectives to drive ongoing stewardship and supporter engagement.
Working as part of a small, busy team there will be opportunities for you to get involved with projects and initiatives outside of the day to day administration, helping to expand your knowledge and develop your skill set.

About the job
Leading the Meningitis Now Fundraising team, you will oversee delivering an annual programme of fundraising and income generating activities, including an exciting national events programme, community development programme, and individual giving programme. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of Fundraising & Events will support upReach's mission by meeting financial targets, recognising when to make the fundraising ‘ask’ and leading the annual budget process. Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will manage three direct reports and support individuals participating in the Future Charity Leaders Programme (upReach’s graduate scheme).
