Main Responsibilities:
· To provide direct line management and leadership to a staff team in the locality, including performance management, reflective practice supervision and robust monitoring of service provision.
· To oversee and support the planning, delivery and coordination of Children’s and Family Centre’s Support Services. Involve stakeholders and all staff as far as it is possible in decision-making processes.
· Support the Operational Manager in all aspects of delivery, including the development of
new workstreams and transformational change of the provision and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
· To lead and support safe, reliable, high-quality family support service across the district and integrate with existing provisions to ensure that services are not duplicated and multiagency working is upheld. To ensure communication is established with other services to establish a culture of mutual trust and respect.
· Prioritise referrals, manage work allocations and ensure effective deployment of the workers to ensure service users receive a timely and effective service.
· Ensure all appropriate staff development and core training requirements are fulfilled in the team and contribute to wider training plans for the locality. Foster a culture of continuous development including best practice sharing across teams and districts, involvement in Community of Practice etc.
- Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, demonstrating an understanding of, and always complying with Family Action’s and Gloucestershire procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. To ensure compliance with relevant local and national legislation. Act as a safeguarding Lead for the locality.
- To have an overview of the support needs of all families across the locality and Gloucestershire as a whole, and knowledge of how these are being met in order to influence the direction of service planning.

The Community Engagement Department enables our student community leaders to gain the knowledge, skills and connections for themselves and their student communities to thrive.
Working with staff across the Community Engagement Department, the Training Coordinator works closely with the Training Manager to support staff to design and deliver high quality, impactful training for our 3000 student community leaders across 400+ student groups, 1000 student representatives, and our 6 full-time elected Student Officers, among other student communities.

Student-facing Training
- Lead the operational planning and delivery of our student-facing training programmes, including training our student group leaders, our elected sabbatical officers and our academic representatives, among others

Key Responsibilities
To manage the day to day running of our branches volunteer service, offering emotional and practical support to those with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, along with those closest to them, such as family, friends and carers when our branch managers are on annual leave or ill.

Summary of the role:
The Global Programmes Assistant reports directly to the Global Programmes Manager and will primarily be responsible for providing support functions to the International Programmes team. Leadership and strategy
· Under the direction of the Executive Headteacher (EHT), lead on all financial matters in the Southover Partnership, to enable successful financial performance and to ensure financial decisions are clearly linked to the Southover Partnership’s strategic goals
· Oversee recruitment processes and procedures
· Attend all senior leadership team meetings and report to Trustees where appropriate
· Allocate resources in line with the Southover Partnership school improvement plan and carry out long-term resource planning that reflects the school’s 5-year plan

Compliance

· Submit the budget to the Trustee Board annually, & provide and present financial reports at least termly for the Trustees, providing insightful information to aid short- and longer-term decisions, including the consideration of financial risks
· Monitor the budget all year round, by providing monthly management accounts and reports to the EHT, advising where revisions or changes are needed, annotating all material variances and taking actions to rectify negative variances
· Manage day to day financial operations, including cash flow, invoicing, debt collection, payroll, payments and other transactions
· Ensure spending on petty cash and company cards is within the limits of the finance policy. Oversee the reconciliation of these accounts
· Review all monthly postings as part of the month end process, calculating and posting cut off adjustments e.g. accruals, prepayments and deferred income

Fundraising

Human resources
· Manage the Southover Partnership’s payroll provision with the payroll provider and approve monthly payrolls, ensuring all staff are paid correctly in a timely manner
· Manage day to day administration of the Pension scheme re starters, leavers and ad hoc forms, updating pension provider with monthly payroll contributions
· Ensure that recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary and grievance policies are administered in accordance with employment law
· With the EHT, conduct reviews of the Southover Partnership’s staffing structure to ensure effective deployment of staff and financial efficiency
