You’ll be responsible for overseeing production of our world-class lessons, live events and Festival resources, with help from a supportive, collaborative team and a wealth of journalistic expertise from across The Economist Group. You’ll be a driven, collaborative manager, able to coordinate a variety of stakeholders including freelance collaborators and internal volunteers, and manage our core content team of Designer and Educational Content Lead.
You will manage projects that help develop the content we offer to schools globally. From implementing AI to unlocking the power of translation, you’ll ensure projects are managed effectively, meet deadlines and keep to budget. You’ll work with the leadership team to monitor and evaluate the success of these projects and scope new areas for growth.

We are currently seeking a Corporate Partnership Fundraiser to join our passionate and dedicated fundraising team. In this vital role, you will focus on securing new and managing existing corporate partnerships in the Derbyshire and North Leicestershire area to generate essential income for Rainbows Children's Hospice, enabling us to continue providing outstanding care and support to babies, children, young people, and their families.
Hours of work: This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the very occasional evening or weekend for Events.
Location of work: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based (an initial hospice-based period is required for onboarding and familiarisation with the team and our mission). You will be managing the North Leicester (including Loughborough) and Derbyshire areas.
About the role

The opportunity
We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and driven Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and development. You will review our financial procedures and processes and where appropriate recommend and implement change and improvements. You will lead our two-person finance team, part of core services, which provides HR, IT, facilities, and marketing support for the company.
What you will be doing
- Delivery of accurate and timely financial information for the company including preparation of monthly reports as required.
- Support the CEO and Executive on strategic development through the provision of performance insights on financial and delivery metrics and management accounts, liaising with external accountants, as appropriate.
- Provide reports to the Directors, Executive and other senior staff analysing company performance including project financial performance.

About The Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40-year history. Over the last year support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation in the next five years, the prospect research manager will play a key role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and researching new major donors, trusts, and corporate prospects, ensuring that all data is accurately managed and compliant with GDPR and data protection laws. You will produce detailed, qualified donor profiles and briefing documents to support prospect meetings and events. Additionally, you will track and report on pools of prospective donors aligned with MAP's strategic priorities, helping to deliver qualified prospects at various giving levels to meet global fundraising targets. Job Purpose
- Supporting the Director of Operations and working alongside the Professional Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of all the Chartered Institute’s existing qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the academic integrity of qualification-related learning products, including responsibility for the assessment and external verification processes.
- You will also be responsible for project managing the rewrite of our Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma qualifications through a team of experienced tutors.
- You will scope the opportunity to deliver a Level 3 and Level 6 qualification for future release, offering modular options for students.
- In addition, you will contribute to our journey to achieving awarding status from Ofqual and work with the Executive Director of Change on the final stage of our chartered status, achieving the power to award Individual chartered status for fundraisers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to potential, current, and future students including advising on suitable courses and qualifications, assessment, and options for their career path.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Chief Examiner, External Examiner, and qualification tutors in relation to assignments or examinations.
- Attend the annual Exam Board (and qualification faculty training days) supporting the administration as appropriate.

• Ability to work closely with Trustees, Team Management Group and staff, building professional positive working relationships in a constructive and consultative environment, looking for and acknowledging the contribution of others and making them feel like valued members of the team and resolving performance issues in a respectful way.
