Whatever issue a young person is facing, The Mix is always there for them - via our website, over the phone
or via social media. Our support is free, confidential, and anonymous and can be accessed wherever young

We connect young people to experts and their peers to talk about everything from money to mental health,
homelessness to jobs, break-ups to drugs and more. No topic is out of bounds, and we are completely
non-judgemental.
The Mix’s mission is to empower every young person to make an informed choice about their wellbeing,
whether that’s through our peer-led and moderated community, multi-channel helpline, counselling
service, crisis support messenger or our range of support content.
We aim to put young people at the centre of everything we do; we use our service data and collaborate
with under 25s to inform every aspect of our services and our wider work. We use youth voice work to share
a platform with young people and put their views and experiences at the centre of the conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Youth Voice programme
- Oversee the day to day running of The Mix’s Youth Voice programme, ensuring its alignment with
The Mix’s strategy - Lead the management of a database with 500+ young people, overseeing monthly reporting and
data reviews - Cultivate and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for active youth participation
- Matrix manage a team of dedicated Youth Voice staff leads, providing guidance, support, and
fostering collaboration - Design and deliver Youth Voice training for all staff to equip everyone for meaningful involvement
of young people in their work - Advocate for the meaningful involvement of young people in all aspects of The Mix’s internal and
partnership work from ideation through to evaluation - Collaborate with internal teams and prominent brands and organisations to integrate youth insights
into decision-making processes - Lead Youth Voice projects, emphasising the amplification of young people’s voices while managing
- timelines and budgets effectively
- Ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding measures in the Youth Voice department,
creating safe spaces for participation and maintaining compliance with safeguarding policy
and procedure - Work with the safeguarding team to build a culture of transparency and safety across

Design engagement opportunities
- Design and implement a wide range of youth engagement opportunities, tailoring approaches to
resonate with diverse groups of young people - Work alongside the Senior Engagement and Training Officer to launch new Youth Voice roles as part
of our community strategy, offering training support and taking the lead in ensuring their success in
these roles - Quality assure all session plans and engagement activities across the organisation

Person Specification
Essential
- A commitment to advocating for young people’s voices and ideas, with a drive to support and create
opportunities for them to have ownership of spaces that they use - Experience embedding youth participation frameworks within organisations
- Knowledge and understanding of Youth Voice frameworks and models
- Experience in group facilitation and an understanding of the co-design process
- Experience overcoming key obstacles in embedding youth voice frameworks
- Strong written communication and the ability to demonstrate empathy through written word
- A clear understanding of digital tools that young people use - including social media

Elrha is a global organisation that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking to recruit a Digital and Creative Communications Manager on a 5 month paternity cover contract.
Are you a creative communicator? Are you able to develop and curate digital content that sparks conversation? Can you guide people to produce impactful products that share stories of our work in an accessible and compelling way? This is an exciting role where you will lead on implementing Elrha’s digital strategy, including overseeing the final stages of our new website and the continued development of our social channels, to help our work reach our key audiences and enhance our voice in the humanitarian community.

You will be given a high degree of autonomy in your work, so to be successful, you will need to be flexible, bold, and work well in a constantly changing environment. You will have strong organisation skills and experience of managing a varied workload while paying attention to the tiny details.

About the role:
The role plays a key role in developing and delivering our media & communication strategy both internal and external, supporting the Head of Media & Communications. The Role
Core responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and implementing content plan for social media channels (primarily Instagram, X, Tiktok and Facebook) including drafting copy, creating content and ensure consistent posting for all channels with the guidance of Digital campaigner/Digital Campaign Lead and campaign team
- Producing a range of daily digital content for Uplift’s social media channels - from simple social-first graphic design, to lo-fi effective social video content
- Working in collaboration with other creatives - ie graphic designers, video producers, creators and influencers - for additional campaign assets
- Creating reactive content and messaging to respond to current events, helping Uplift maximise opportunities for engagement and growth using the news cycle
- Community management across the various campaign channels
- Developing social media toolkits and coordinating with partners around big mobilisations
- Analysing the performance of social media outputs and their contribution towards the wider campaign, and making recommendations on how to improve
- Managing the distribution of key pieces of social media content to relevant stakeholders to increase online amplification (partners, groups and pages)

As our Mass Fundraising Acquisition Marketing Manager (Events) you’ll be part of an in-house team of marketeers responsible for driving mass, new customer acquisition across a portfolio of fundraising products and activities, including events, integrated brand and fundraising campaigns, cash appeals, and regular giving activity.

About you

Forcesline is SSAFA's frontline telephone service handling both day-to-day and more complex enquiries from the Armed Forces community.
This role is responsible for the management and development of the Forcesline service and will also act as point of contact for the Veterans Gateway. The Manager will lead and support a team of advisors, developing the service in response to the needs of the clients and technological requirements, as well as ensuring a high quality of service. About the team
You will work with a great team of advisors who are both experienced and skilled. All Forcesline Welfare Advisors are trained in Safeguarding and each practitioner has at least a Level 2 Counselling qualification. Their experience covers former Samaritans, Pastrol Care, Social Work and Police Despatch Calling. As a team they learn and support one another. You as their Manager will be fully involved with this and will ensure SSAFA delivers on its mission as a trusted source of support to the Armed Forces Community as their times of need.
About you
You will have had experience in delivering welfare support to others, and ideally this has been gained through a helpline. While the team is small, some management experience would be desirable. You will also need to be technically competent as most of this work will be done virtually through digital means.

Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.
You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. What you will do

Working at Scriptoria

Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our home visiting digital inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Social Isolation project supports and enhances existing Older Adult Mental Health services provided by CNWL by providing targeted outreach digital inclusion support to vulnerable older people with the aim of reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation. We are looking for someone who has confident Digital Inclusion experience and ideally some experience of working with people living with dementia.
The role will include providing intensive coaching, support and troubleshooting with IT skills and equipment as well as working closely with Age UK Westminster’s other services including digital inclusion group sessions and dementia activities.
The role will demand a division of time in the office and in client’s home in Westminster.
