In this role, you will lead technical teams, manage projects, oversee IT infrastructure, and ensure that technology aligns with the charity’s strategic goals. As a strategic leader, you will contribute to the overall strategy for Finance and Corporate Services, offering insights and guidance. You will oversee the development and implementation of the overarching IT strategy, working closely with the Director to ensure alignment with the Directorate Strategy. In addition, you will lead in the creation and execution of the charity’s Data Strategy, empowering Dementia UK to effectively harness data into actionable goals with clear performance metrics.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as fundraising, clinical, finance and people teams to understand their IT needs and explore opportunities to enhance service delivery, fundraising, and donor engagement through technology. Your oversight of IT infrastructure will span servers, networks, cloud environments and data centers, ensuring reliable and secure operations while implementing best practices in security and data protection. You will also ensure that IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards, including GDPR, Charity Commission requirements, and data security guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with extensive experience in senior IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, security, and project management. You will possess sound knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) and have experience with cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and database management. Exceptional communication skills will be essential, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Seek and fulfil a variety of engagements in the London and the South East which engender loyalty and acquire short- and long-term income contributing to the fundraising target of £405k per year.
- Maximise income from Churches and Events
- Participate in All We Can’s presence at several conferences and events each year, inspiring current and new supporters through stalls, workshops, and stage time.
- Build and develop new strategic relationships with ministers, lay workers, and key volunteers in Methodist Churches across the country, encouraging them into deeper income-generating engagement with All We Can.
- Collaborate with others in the Public Engagement Team to develop new resources and fundraising products to engage supporters and generate income
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience of community fundraising involving relationship-building, planning, and generating a response to a call to action with experience of community fundraising in a Christian context being desirable.
- Be a passionate and convincing public speaker, with experience of speaking/presenting in a Christian context; being a qualified preacher and/or worship leader in a church tradition would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have experience of generating and following up on new opportunities. Experience of project management in a professional context will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate both stories and data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability and willingness to communicate to diverse audiences. To be comfortable communicating to Christian groups and individuals.

About Beyond the Streets
A wonderful opportunity exists to join the energetic, friendly, and talented Beyond the Streets staff team, dedicated to achieving the aim of living in a UK where women aren’t compelled to sell sex; free from coercion, violence, poverty, and other abuses. We also work towards the aim of ensuring that those that are involved in selling sex can access effective services without experiencing barriers such as stigma, a lack of understanding, and judgemental attitudes.
The charity formed over 20 years ago, and we’re now a leading specialist within our theme. Beyond the Streets works in 2 key areas:
1) Direct Support: We provide direct support for women involved in selling sex via two frontline services: 1) Beyond Support, based in Southampton (a national remote telephone service offering long-term 1:1 support with trained Women’s Support Worker); 2) Door of Hope, based in east London supporting women involved in selling sex on street via street outreach, drop-ins, advocacy to gain/maintain access to services, 1:1 Psychotherapy sessions, and 1:1 long-term support
2) Impact Work: We run training courses for third sector / statutory professionals to increase awareness and educate on women’s support needs. In partnership we produce research and resources and reports, involving lived experience voices, to support better access to services for women and encourage systemic change. We also host an affiliate network of 30+ organisations nationwide.
About the role…
We’re looking for someone with energy, motivation, and experience to be able to make an instant and vital impact on the organisation; someone who can understand the big picture, has good attention to detail and can make things happen. The role will focus on increasing income from donations and sustaining our current grant income; both playing a key role in maintaining our frontline services and impact work. With plans around developing our supporter base and growing our number of regular donors already in place, you will not only have the opportunity to quickly become involved in key activities but also the chance to influence these plans through your own expertise. The position will report to the Grants Manager and work closely with the Comms and Marketing Officer as well as beside the wider Beyond the Streets team.

Since 2018, Connect: North Korea (CNK) has grown from a small community start-up into an effective and impactful organisation with an annual income of approaching £500,000, mainly through grants from Trusts and Foundations. As our new Head of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for growing our income from our individual and corporate base to help us reach more vulnerable members of our community. You will lead on individual fundraising relationships and initiatives, including appeals, fundraising campaigns, and all direct marketing activities and communications. Position: Head of Individual Giving
Responsible to: CEO
Based at: Our offices in New Malden KT3 with some remote/home working. We will be as flexible as possible to accommodate the right candidate.

Annual Corporate and Individual Giving Programmes:

Develop and deliver CNK corporate and individual giving fundraising programme of events, campaigns and appeals to raise £100,000 in 2025.

Work closely with CEO and CNK team members to craft information into compelling copy, asks, supporter updates, social media content and personalised campaign appeals.

Plan and deliver low and mid level individual giving campaigns to cultivate new donors, convert existing supporters from once off donations to regular givers and inspire donors to increase their current support.

Design and deliver our annual major donor giving programme. Cultivate, communicate and inspire new major donors to join us with the aim of increasing our current major donor pool by 10%. Steward current donors, keep in touch, craft compelling asks to support their progression towards more frequent or higher-value donations.

Report monthly to the CEO on the success of campaigns and programming, income raised, number of new supporters/followers, conversion rates, offering insight on ROI, learnings and how we will incorporate this learning to improve how we do things in future.
Fundraising compliance:

Save all profiles, donations, giving history, gift aid agreements, correspondence, and communications with supporters on CNK CRM database. Uphold GDPR and comply with fundraising best practice.
US Individual Giving Programme:

Contribute towards developing a new US individual giving portfolio through prospect research and crafting compelling fundraising asks.
Staff & Volunteer Management:

Create and manage a volunteer fundraising programme to grow individual giving through community events, social media and awareness raising.

Essential skills and experience:
You will have at least five, ideally eight, years experience of:
