About the role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to help build income from corporate fundraising with an emphasis on securing long term and strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for proactively generating significant income from five and six figure corporate partnerships by managing the new business pipeline, identifying new opportunities, building relationships and networking with key stakeholders and producing compelling applications and creative partnership proposals.

This is an excellent opportunity to build on previous experience and develop your skills in business development. Previous experience of securing high value, strategic partnerships in the third sector would be beneficial. The team has a proven track record in winning prestigious corporate partnerships which include: Macfarlanes LLP, Invesco, Knight Frank, Deutsche Bank, Nomura and high street names such as Kurt Geiger. Responsible for a third of the charity’s income the team are driven, highly motivated & results orientated.

· A motivating, empathetic and persuasive communicator – you are an experienced bid writer and a confident public speaker with experience of presenting to panels or addressing large audiences

· Knowledge of different corporate fundraising initiatives, including charity of the year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships – you understand the components of a mutually beneficial and multi-faceted partnership, and have proven experience of prospect management and winning new business.

· You thrive working in a busy environment on multiple priorities simultaneously – results-oriented and a fast learner, you respond quickly to pressure and a changing environment.

· Confident use of MSOffice and experience of using a database – you have strong attention to detail, won’t miss a deadline and record accurate data using CRM systems

The Grants and Programmes Officer is a crucial role, coordinating grant and programme management processes, ensuring the effective administering and distribution of charitable funds to individual unpaid carers. Main responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit two Development Workers for Salford’s flagship Wellbeing Matters programme.

The Wellbeing Matters programme is a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) led initiative delivered by Salford CVS in partnership with five VCSE anchor organisations. The Programme focuses on Person and Community Centred Approaches to improving the wellbeing of Salford people that are commissioned by NHS Greater Manchester, Salford’s five Primary Care Networks, and Salford Integrated Commissioning.

Wellbeing Matters Programme has two core elements, firstly community connecting / social prescribing. This connects people referred through health professionals with a non-medical need to local community assets to support an individual’s wellbeing, independence, and reduce social isolation. The programme aims to support people feel more connected to their communities, providing confidence, and social interaction connections, linking individuals to local activities and services. The main aim is to support individuals become prepared on how to manage their own health and wellbeing.

The second core element of the Wellbeing Matters programme supports the development and maintenance of the VCSE ecosystem that supports social prescribing through volunteering, voluntary action, community activities, investment and assuring quality of groups and activities. This element of Wellbeing Matters includes a team of Development Workers whose role is to develop the capacity of local VCSE groups and activities that ensures a healthy voluntary, community and social enterprise eco-system to socially prescribe into.

Sadly, the current postholder is leaving mid-September so an opportunity has arisen to lead and run our Reachout Youth project, delivering weekly groups for young people aged 13-19 who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties. The groups are an informal, fun, confidential space where young people can meet and chat, participate in feel good activities and receive helpful information and tools. There are two groups a week, one on Thursdays in Tunbridge Wells between 4.30pm – 6pm and another in a community venue or a school in Tunbridge Wells or Tonbridge, details to be confirmed.

You will have experience of working with young people, and the ability to facilitate groups, plan and deliver creative activities that engage young people and encourage participation. You will have excellent communication and administration skills. We are looking for someone energetic, positive, warm and welcoming, who is able to deal with challenging situations with confidence.

The role is for 13 hours per week, for delivery of the groups, dealing with referrals, client support, planning, administration and supervision. Some flexibility to work from home outside of the groups is possible, although this is an office-based role.

This role is part of the Wiltshire Adult Domestic Abuse Team, which provides support to people and their families who have been impacted by domestic abuse.

Working within the team, you will work directly with victims of domestic abuse, providing them with support and educational sessions to increase their safety and the safety of any of their children.

Offering support to standard to medium risk victims of domestic abuse, key tasks will include:

• To provide high quality, person centred, trauma informed support to people impacted by domestic abuse.
• Being part of a team providing a whole family approach.
• Support people to increase their personal safety.
• Support people’s personal empowerment to take control of their lives.
• Undertaking risk assessments and collaboratively developing safety plans.
• Give practical and emotional support to families who are experiencing domestic abuse in the community.
• Deliver and facilitate groups for people impacted by domestic abuse, including the Inspiring Families Course (including evening delivery where required).

You will work closely with Children’s Social Care, offering professional consultation regarding domestic abuse cases and attending team meetings where required. You will work closely with local Social Workers to increase the safety and stabilisation of people, by offering specialist domestic abuse educational sessions to the non-abusing parent, either in a one-to-one or group setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide a high-quality, person centred, trauma informed service and empowerment to those who need it.
• Manage a caseload of standard to medium risk cases, providing virtual and face to face support.
• Complete an initial assessment of individuals’ and families' needs with corresponding support plans to meet these needs so, preventing escalation of difficulties.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

1. Coordinate the monthly small trusts mailing programme, refreshing mailing lists and ensuring communications are tailored and compelling.

2. Manage a small caseload of higher value supporters and prospects, ranging across trusts, foundations and individuals, and raise income by initiating and developing meaningful and enduring relationships to support Mind's charitable delivery.

3. With a range of tools, help build a strong and up to date pipeline of appropriate funders for the wider team by identifying and qualifying new prospects.

4. Manage the thanking process for unsolicited gifts and donations, ensuring personalised, timely and sensitive communication with funders.

5. Work closely with Income and Operations, Finance and CRM and Data teams to ensure all donations are processed in a timely and accurate way, have correct income codes, resolve income queries, transfers and discrepancies and ensure that the team receives timely reports in the appropriate format.

6. Input into annual and quarterly phasing of income: setting ambitious financial ask targets for donors and prospects in your caseload, carefully monitoring and reporting on progress of income, assessing risk to the budget to inform current and future financial years, and working to mitigate any loss of income.

7. Where required, help with ad-hoc prospect research and due diligence requests, completing and refreshing research profiles, using external resources and databases.

8. Provide support on stewardship event activities including coordination of guest lists, writing guest profiles, recording invites and activity on the database.

9. Support and coordinate team communications, including writing and reviewing copy for impact reports, newsletters, thank you letters and annual review mailings.

10. Ensure Mind's database has accurate and up to date records which adhere to Data Protection requirements and produce reports as required to help senior officers and managers analyse pipeline movement and income projection.

11. Undertake the accurate recording and maintenance of donor records on the database (Microsoft Dynamics), and other systems, adhering to business rules and protocols, Data Protection and Fundraising Regulations.

12. Stay informed of Philanthropy trends across the sector, actively participating in fundraising networking groups and bringing ideas to inform Mind's philanthropy activity.

13. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal contacts across departments such as External Relations, Mind Cymru and local Minds as appropriate.

14. Undertake any additional duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

As Executive Assistant you will support Tearfund's Global Influencing and Programmes Group (GIPG) Director in the following areas: diary and email management, meeting coordination & minutes, arranging travel, administrative support to the International Impact Committee, including minuting of the meetings, provide administrative or undertaking specific projects within the International group. You will need to be able to work across different cultures and time zones, being flexible and proactive.

This role requires:

• excellent organisational and administrative skills 
• the ability to prioritise and work under pressure with high attention to detail. 
• Attention to detail and excellent planning skills 

The successful candidate will be confident and a natural relationship builder with exceptional communication skills. You will need to be flexible and able to deal with ambiguity as well as possessing the ability to take initiative and demonstrate good judgement.

Join Demelza's Events Team and be a part of our bespoke and challenge events, from Bubble Rush to London Marathon and our Demelza to Demelza cycling challenge, there are a variety of events to get involved in. 

We are looking for someone with events experience, ideally within a fundraising setting, with good organisation skills and attention to detail. This role will help support many fundraisers who are taking on their own challenge to raise funds for Demelza as well as organising some of our bespoke events.
