Programme Manager

The Church Urban Fund is seeking a pro-active and professional Programme Manager, for a part time (21-28 hours a week), 6 month fixed term contract to cover parental leave.

The Wayfinder programme, is a Community-led homelessness prevention programme launched in 2022. It is specifically designed to help people in insecure housing or at risk of homelessness to move forward in life. The programme, run through community partners in Manchester, Leicester and Nottingham, aims to support clients would benefit from support from volunteer community mentors and/or case workers to overcome social isolation and related barriers to tenancy sustainment. It connects people with activities and opportunities in their community and provides practical support through the ups and downs of recovery from homelessness or insecure housing.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the management, and development of the programme. This includes maintaining strong partnerships with delivery partners, funders, referral agencies, external evaluators, internal stakeholders, and support functions to maximise the positive impact of our work. They will develop and maintaining the educational content and supporting tools and support regional coordinators (managed by and embedded with our regional partners) to ensure the programme maintains its high standards while increasing its reach.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in poverty alleviation, preferably within the homelessness sector, or experience in a volunteer management role within a multi-agency environment and developing partnerships.

This home-based role offers flexibility but will require occasional travel to key locations including London, Nottingham, Manchester, and Leicester. The position of Insight Analyst is a new role that will sit in the Insight & Development team (I&D). The purpose of I&D is to inspire long term support and maximise opportunity, engagement and income by putting supporters at the heart of everything we do. This team of experts interacts with teams across the whole organisation and is central to the delivery of our organisational strategy.

The Insight Analyst will be delivering insight, using a range of data sources, to help inform strategy and day to day decision making. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of ARUK’s strategy, objectives, and operations, especially in relation to supporter engagement and fundraising to help generate and deliver Insight analysis projects and day to day tasks that will contribute to achieving our fundraising strategy. They will work with our fundraising and marketing teams, as well as independently, to derive insight from existing sources (Data Tables, internal collation, existing reports) that will enable ARUK to better serve supporters and in return gain their lifetime loyalty.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Support the development of our fundraising activity by creating and visualising insight that demonstrates understanding of supporters, their motivations and challenges. Including, but not limited to: Target audience profiles / segmentations, Product / brand sentiment, Product / brand preference, Competitor landscape and ways we can build engagement.

· Identify the most appropriate data sources, tools and methodologies needed to answer insights briefs or requests

· Use a range of 3rd party data and tools to analyse appropriate data and extract findings that are relevant and meaningful

· Provide data-based evidence that supports creative development and/or fundraising strategy

· Present findings in a clear, visual way that helps to tell a story in line with the strategy

· Collaborate with a wide range of teams across the fundraising and marketing directorate to deliver valuable insight

· Help to drive insight- driven culture to ensure that all decision making is informed by insight

· Attend and present at internal meetings, in person or over video call and occassionally with our senior leadership team.

What we are looking for:

· Experience of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).

· Experience working in the charity sector with an understanding of donor insight.

· Experience of translating the essence of a range of data and resources into language or formats others will understand.

· Ability to communicate insights by producing written reports and presenting face-to-face.

· Ability to work and think independently, using own initiative and sometimes raising challenging questions or observations.

· A strong sense for how charities function, and how insight can contribute.

· Ability to manage and take responsibility for own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines.

· Excellent numerical skills and Excel proficiency.

· Good interpersonal skills; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

· Clear-thinking, with a creative and innovative approach to dealing with issues and problem solving.

· Confident and friendly manner.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

For 40-years, School-Home Support has been working with children, families and schools to break the cycle of poor school attendance, low education attainment, anti-social behaviour, crime, low paid or no job, generation after generation. This is a new role in our People team and we are looking for an energetic and dependable People Operations & Systems Manager to work closely with our Head of People and Culture, to help implement best people strategies and practices to secure a sustainable organisational culture. This role reports into the Head of People & Culture and is a mixture of remote working and office based.

You will be liaising with all colleagues on HR practices and school and regional based practitioners; together with all Line Managers. Supervising and managing the people administrator and the L&D Advisor to manage the following:

•  Reviewing and approving necessary modifications to the people operations department’s efforts from time to time.

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is an independent charity dedicated to helping the successful integration of refugees and people seeking asylum into the local community. With over three decades of experience, we provide a holistic service which includes advice on welfare, benefits, and immigration, alongside education, counselling, and career guidance.

In 2023/24 we supported 2,036 people:

• 1,171 clients accessed advice and advocacy services, including immigration advice
• 305 accessed ESOL classes
• 250 children supported through after school and family support services
• 61 people supported through our counselling service

Purpose of the role

As Fundraising Manager, you will lead the fundraising functions of the charity to generate income, meet organisational targets, and ensure development opportunities are effectively maximised. We are focused on multi-year bids and opportunities that deliver the best outcomes for our client community. Main areas of accountability

Fundraising - general

Senior Engagement and Events Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible individual to join St Paul’s School as our Senior Engagement and Events Manager.

The post holder will manage the delivery of events and engagement activities for the whole of the St Paul’s community—pupils, Old Paulines (alumni), parents of current and/or former pupils, and staff. Membership Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented team in maximising income from a committed membership base with lots of potential.

* Experience in creating and delivering training materials for diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is highly desirable, but we can consider experience with similar software.
* Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.

Purpose of the role

Fowler’s Syndrome UK (Registered Charity number 1196903) is a unique patient and clinician led charity that works to raise awareness, promote education and encourage research into the debilitating bladder condition Fowler’s Syndrome. The condition solely affects women and Fowler’s Syndrome UK (FSUK) is the only charity in the world to directly support women with this condition.

Fowler’s syndrome is a life changing and currently almost untreatable condition, affecting up to 20,000 women in the UK. It  causes full or partial urinary retention and solely affects women*, meaning they have problems passing urine due to a difficulty in relaxing the urinary sphincter. The peak age of onset is 26. It was first described by Professor Clare Fowler, Emeritus professor of Uro-Neurology at UCLh, and FSUK’s patron, in 1985.

We estimate that there are in excess of 20,000 women in the UK suffering from, but not necessarily diagnosed with, the condition, because of the lack of knowledge about Fowler’s Syndrome both from a patient and clinician perspective.

85% of women with Fowler’s Syndrome say the condition has had a severe or devastating impact on their life.

75% of those with FS have been told their urinary symptoms are due to anxiety or ‘all in their head’

There is low awareness of the condition among the medical community outside of specialist hospitals. Only an estimated 30% of GPs are aware of Fowler’s Syndrome. Once diagnosed, there are few resources available for patients and limited treatment options. Many women feel alone and unsupported.

Our mission is to provide resources, promote education and facilitate research into Fowler’s syndrome; so women with the condition have stigma free access to a timely diagnosis, suitable and effective treatment options, care and psychological support.

The Role: Administrator

The administrator’s role is to support the CEO in the daily management of the charity. CRM Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a CRM/Database Officer to join our Fundraising Operations team on a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent contract.

As a CRM Officer you will have the opportunity to develop your data management knowledge and experience working with our existing CRM (ALMS.Net) and our New CRM (Salesforce) that we are in the process of migrating to.
