The role
FareShare believes that no good food should go to waste and is currently undertaking an expansion plan that will see us strive ever closer to that vision. As the Deputy Warehouse Manager you will be at the forefront of making this happen. As the Deputy Warehouse Manager you will oversee the warehouse and successfully manage day to day operations, as well as developing and implementing new operational practices, efficiencies and standards to as part of the management team. Food Safety and Health & Safety are at our core. You will be part of a management team responsible for the compliance in these areas, ensuring the safe storage and transport of the food, plus the safety and wellbeing of all RC staff, volunteers and visitors. Inherent within our mission is to ensure no good food goes to waste, so you will use your skills and expertise to minimise waste by working with our partners to ensure when food arrives and leaves the warehouse it is fit for consumption.
Main areas of responsibility
Operations
- Part of a management structure accountable for the day-to-day performance of the warehouse;
- Part of a management structure responsible for the development and management or resource plans to meet fluctuating food volumes, CFM demands, volunteer availability and growth plans;
- Part of a management structure for logistics planning to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective distribution of food to meet CFM needs;
- Analyse performance, food volumes, waste and volunteer requirements against KPI’s and produce reports as required by the East Anglia Regional Manager;
- Manage and provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers in the warehouse;

The Trusts & Foundations Manager role is a hybrid position for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, which is the official charity of Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Solihull Hospital and Community Services.

• Utilising insights from international benchmarking and emerging trends from global partners to incorporate cutting-edge methodologies and world-class standards into the teacher training programme.
• Leading a team of Skills Coaches to guide the development and delivery of high impact teacher training experiences, focusing on practical and solutions focussed strategies underpinned by international best practice that improve teaching, learning, and assessment.

About the Role

• Work with Senior Marketing Managers to manage budgets, including planning, reporting, and reforecasting.
• Partner with CRO Specialist and others, to create a seamless supporter experience by ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, driving engagement, conversion and lifetime value.
• Keeping abreast of changes within the direct response TV and online video marketplace, and ensure learnings feed into quarterly planning.
• Collaborate with Save the Children International and other member countries, sharing best practices and insights on the trends of the various activities under its responsibility and helping drive the global production of new content for TV and online video.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Demonstrable experience in managing and delivering marketing campaigns across direct response TV or other online video channels.
• Experience in direct response marketing including developing marketing campaigns, data analysis and audience planning.
• Project management experience with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget.

To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.
You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. You will be empathic with strong active listening skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion in your communication with trauma-affected individuals. You will be adept at identifying individual’s support needs and have strong social/communication skills enabling you to facilitate appropriate and meaningful peer support matches. Possessing excellent organisational skills, you will thrive in the fast-paced and reactive environment of peer support service delivery.
You will be committed to maintaining high standards and have a keen eye for detail able to keep accurate records of interventions and collect evaluation/impact data with regularity. Additionally, you will have a proactive approach to building and supporting a diverse volunteer team. You will be a ‘people-person’, enjoy speaking with others, and have the knowledge and confidence to offer ongoing guidance and motivation to our volunteer team. Your ability to conduct regular reviews to gather feedback to support volunteers' personal and professional development will be essential in driving the continued success of our peer support service. You will enjoy supporting others to develop new skills and navigate challenges successfully.
Day One is a young, ambitious national charity dedicated to supporting people impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences such as disability or death, referred to in the NHS as ‘major trauma’. Our Caseworkers work alongside NHS Clinicians, embedded as part of the team within Major Trauma Centres and across the wider Major Trauma Network to provide practical, emotional and financial support to adults and children as well as their families and loved ones.
