At the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) we have an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Administration Officer within the Practice and Development Directorate.

You will provide administrative support to specific projects and core work within the directorate, as well as delivering front line services to CSP members and key stakeholders.

You will also support the quality assurance and enhancement work we do with providers of physiotherapy education, and the project work that enhances career and CPD for the physiotherapy workforce. Our focus as a directorate evolves over time so this post will suit someone keen to keep developing their own skillset and support different areas of activity. With a proven administration background and the ability to deliver effective, high quality, customer-support to colleagues and external stakeholders/partners, you will have first class communication skills and a strong team ethic

The post holder will excel in managing their own workload whilst also supporting the delivery of team priorities within a remote-first organisation. You will also work with colleagues across the CSP to support directorate and corporate activity in line with the CSP’s corporate strategy. Therefore, good time management, prioritising skills and attention to detail are essential.

*The CSP operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work between their home and the office. RUSI is an established research institute and think tank, focusing on defence, security and geopolitics. About the role

The NextGen Programme and Membership Manager will have the following key priorities:

·To actively manage and promote the NextGen initiative, grow the community and develop its offering.

·To develop and maintain key relationships with internal staff as well as external stakeholders, ambassadors, partners and funders of the NextGen programme

·Support the membership team with account management of selected organisation members

·Part of a small team, we are looking for an energetic individual with a can-do attitude, who will be able to bring self-starting energy and passion to the role.

   Key tasks

·Evolve and execute a NextGen marketing plan (branding, communications, dedicated webspace on RUSI site, promotion via partners, social media etc)

·Prepare a monthly newsletter and grow/manage all social media activities

·Organise and deliver a series of NextGen events (monthly minimum), dealing with speakers, venues, logistics, communications etc.

·Actively manage the sign-up/registrations and onboarding processes

·Organise meetings and support the NextGen Steering Group of staff and Ambassador volunteers

·Develop a funding strategy and support with converting NextGen members into RUSI members

·Pomotion of the NextGen programme to internal and external stakeholders – creating awareness, support and understanding of it’s mission  

·Account management of selected existing organisation members. This includes scheduling catch-up meetings, arranging private briefings, making connections to relevant research teams, event registrations, and dealing with general day to day requests of members

·Use ReadyMembership (CRM system) to track and manage member activities whilst following an account management plan

·Nurture relationships with RUSI organisation members, working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to identify opportunities to expand members level of involvement

·Identify oganisation members interests and feed these into areas of the institute that support membership

Job Title: People and Culture Apprentice

Reporting to: Strategy Lead and EA to CEO

Location of work: Home based with the expectation to attend the office at least 2/3 days per week dependent on organisational activities, this expectation will be reviewed after the first quarter. Travel expenses will be paid. There may be other ad hoc additional days for team days and organisational away days.

As this is an apprentice role you will have a designated 1 day a week to undertake apprenticeship related activity or focused study, this will be agreed with your line manager and flexibility will be available for how this is managed.

Contract type: Apprentice - fixed term for duration of apprenticeship.

Contract Length: 24 months. There is potential for a permanent contract at the end of 24 months dependent on organisational growth, financial circumstances and business need. 

Salary: Starting Salary £20,400 (2024/2025) increasing to £22,950 (2025/2026) after the first year on successful progress in the apprenticeship and in meeting expectations in the role.

BACKGROUND

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 200,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. JOB PURPOSE

The People and Culture Apprentice will have a varied, critical remit; supporting central administration and the executive office as well as the People and Culture team to deliver an outstanding day to day HR service. The role will support with all areas of the life cycle including, recruitment, induction, onboarding, and administrative support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

 We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties

This is a new role, joining a small but growing Fundraising and Events Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will oversee most fundraising income generation activity.

The Fundraising Officer will build positive relationships to secure significant income and develop new relationships with groups, business and individuals, bringing in regular and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating fundraising campaigns and ‘asks’). Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief, and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we support. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Overview

1. Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Maximise the contributions and connections with local business and individuals.
3. Coordinate all appeals including The Big Walk across all income and media streams.
4. Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities such as Payroll Giving, Legacies (with help from The Legacy Officer), in Memory Giving and Online Giving.

Supporter Engagement and Stewardship

1. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to The Trust’s supporters.
2.  To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
3.  Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.
4.  Develop and implement Fundraising groups across the UK

Database Management

1. To ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
2.  Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
3.  Train other staff members to support general fundraising.
4.  Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.
5.  Reconcile fundraising income with the Finance Manager, including Gift Aid claims, missed, failed payments and Direct Debit cancellations.

 Individual Giving

1. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
2. Lead the growth of CT100 monthly giving.
3. Work with the Press and PR Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.

Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns

1. Work alongside teams and PR and Communications Manager to promote The Cinnamon Trust.
2. Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the PR and Communications Manager.
3. Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside PR and Communications Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses and individuals

Staff and Volunteers

1. Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropriate.
2.  Work closely with Head of Operations and PR and Communications Manager  to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.

Wider organisational responsibilities

1. Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
2. Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Operations.
3. Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of The Cinnamon Trust

Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for an Area Fundraiser to join our Fundraising Team; the role will be on a hybrid basis with a mix of predominantly working in the community of North Wales, working from home and regular travel to the office in Conwy. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, (although part-time working of 30 hours will be considered). About the Area Fundraiser role:

Reporting to the Fundraising Team Leader, the Fundraiser is the link between the Hospices and the local community it serves as well as being the face of the charity. As an Area Fundraiser, you will strive to offer the best experience to our supporters.  You will be responsible for event management as well as financial targets set within an agreed expenditure budget, undertaking analytical work to evaluate success of appeals, events and promotions.  These will be delivered through a range of channels, including digital and virtual campaigns, across a variety of fundraising programmes.

As a member of the fundraising team, the Fundraiser will also work closely with the engagement, lottery, communications and donations teams to maximise income generation opportunities.

• Proactively raising income from the local community including individuals, friends groups, corporates, community groups and schools.

Main Purpose:

Job summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will work closely with the Chief Officer (CO) to grow the business activities of Headway Black Country (HBC).

The BDM's core purpose is to work with the CO, members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and the Board of Trustees to identify and develop new business and funding opportunities, to enable HBC to meet our charitable objectives, specifically regarding the key themes of:

• Providing support: Offering practical advice, emotional support, and rehabilitation services to individuals who have experienced a brain injury, as well as their families and caregivers.
• Raising awareness: Increasing public understanding and awareness of brain injuries, their causes, and the impact they can have on individuals and their families.
• Promoting independence: Helping individuals with brain injuries to regain their independence, develop skills, and improve their quality of life through various programs and services.

You will provide support to the CO in the identification of opportunities, development, and submission of proposals, and managing the bid/tender processes from scoping through to implementation:

• To secure income from a range of sources to support the Strategic and Business Plans of Headway Black Country.
• To lead on the development of a range of new business opportunities.
• To build relationships with a range of key stakeholders to better position the organisation.

KEY TASKS

• Gain a full understanding of all areas of Headway Black Country to enable post-holder to identify and develop new opportunities.
• To undertake a market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, and to lead on the development of appropriate business products and services as agreed with the CO.
• To identify opportunities for service development through new funding streams, partnership, and commissioning opportunities.
• To lead on the management and preparation of funding bids, tenders, business proposals.
• Coordinate the implementation of agreed new projects and help to develop monitoring plans, and co-ordinating reporting arrangements.
• To develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders providing funding to charities to raise awareness and promote HBC within the Region.
• Build relationships and partnerships and pursue funding avenues to realise new service activity in line with HBC charitable objectives.
• Implement and lead HBC Fundraising Committee and developing the organisation's funding strategy with the Chief Officer and Board of Trustees.
• Input into the website/ marketing materials to include new and potential development ideas.
• Collaborate and work as part of the management team on agreeing what Business Development Plans progress/ track and communicate progress and recommendations.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess a proven track record (2 to 3 years or more) of leading successful applications to grant makers and charitable trusts.
• Have experience in corporate fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Have experience of a broad variety of business/ fundraising opportunities relevant to the charitable sector.
• Have proven experience of developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders to deliver tangible results.
