As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the South Central & East of England regional educational partnerships team, supporting the team to achieve shared KPIs for the region and the wider organisation. The role of Educational Partnerships Manager involves working directly with young people and teachers in schools that are delivering / supporting the delivery of our Young Enterprise programmes.
The Educational Partnerships Manager role will suit someone who can work with young people, build rapport and engage young people from a range of backgrounds. You will need to be confident in working within education settings and liaising with school staff, volunteers, and corporate volunteers. This can be a varied role, but a very exciting role as well as very rewarding. Your experience in relationship development and management will help with developing new schools as well as supporting existing school relationships. As Content Producer (Video), you will create high-quality videos showcasing Church Army's impactful work across the UK. You'll plan, shoot, and edit videos for social media and digital platforms, producing compelling content that supports our organisational objectives.
As part of a team of digital and creative professionals, you’ll travel to various project sites across the UK to capture stories that highlight the transformative work of Church Army.
Main Responsibilities
Planning and conducting video shoots at Church Army Project sites across the UK and Ireland.
Managing all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning, including script approval and shoot scheduling to shooting, and editing.
Operating various video production equipment and maintain technical proficiency with cameras, sound equipment and other visual production tools.
Creating engaging video content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube.
Working closely with the Content Producer (Stories) and Copywriter to ensure a unified and consistent message across all content formats.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
In-depth understanding of video production processes and techniques.
Knowledge of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
Proven experience in planning, Shooting, and editing videos for digital platforms and demonstrated experience with motion graphics and video editing software.
Technical skills in operating video production equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively within a creative team.

Main purposes of the job

Responsible to: Corporate Partnerships Manager
Location: ShelterBox HQ, Truro, Cornwall (Hybrid, mix of office and home working) or remote working (UK only) regular travel to London and occasional travel within the UK, including to Truro office (if remote) will be required.
Role Purpose:
This is a new, diverse and dynamic role within ShelterBox’s high-performing Philanthropy & Partnerships Team, working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager on a growing corporate partnerships portfolio. You will be integral to strengthening and growing relationships with corporate partners, driving the expansion of both the number of corporate partners, and the diversity of those partnerships beyond traditional models of financial support.
The successful candidate will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to identify and build new corporate relationships, and steward existing partnerships, taking responsibility for a portfolio of your own mid-level partners and ensuring that all our partners are valued, engaged and inspired to continue supporting ShelterBox’s life-saving work.
This role will also be crucial in driving forward a diverse range of strategic corporate partnerships, looking at skill-sharing, resource-sharing, and strategic business advice at both a national and international scale.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a creative, collaborative and forward-thinking individual with strong writing, organisation, and partnership-building skills. Ideally you will have some experience in a corporate partnership role, although this is not an essential requirement. This position is for someone who can excel in a varied role, forming partnerships involving stakeholders across ShelterBox’s international staff and our partners in the private sector. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in third sector-private sector partnerships, solicitation and stewardship, whilst working at an ambitious disaster relief organisation.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring ShelterBox’s private sector supporters receive high-quality account management, managing a portfolio of your own small to mid-size organisations.
- Supporting with the unique engagement products ShelterBox has developed for corporate partners (such as our training offering, presentations, business strategy, supporting company events.). Within this, you may be expected to help deliver elements of our training, liaising with our experienced Learning & Development team to organise and ensure successful delivery of our varied offering.
- Work collaboratively to produce high-quality bespoke reporting to demonstrate the impact of support from corporate partners.
- Develop a strong understanding of ShelterBox’s corporate partners and their motivations in order to develop and deliver new and powerful ways to bring high-value supporters closer to ShelterBox’s work.
- Build strong internal networks, particularly with ShelterBox’s International Programmes Department and Brand & Content team, to develop a range of compelling assets and materials to showcase our work and engage and inspire our corporate partners.
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver a calendar of engaging and emotive communications for our corporate partners, connecting them with ShelterBox’s work.
- Support on the administrative tasks to keep track of our communications with corporate partners.
- Driving the progression of innovative partnerships that involve skill and/or resource-sharing by connecting the right teams within ShelterBox with the experts at our corporate partners, acting as the convener for strategic projects.
- Support with the delivery of Philanthropy & Partnerships stewardship and cultivation events.
- Support with preparations for and delivery of emergency fundraising activity in response to major disasters.
- Drive forward activities to deliver a thriving corporate partnership funding pipeline, including prospect research, prioritisation and network mapping.
- Keep abreast of sector trends and attend conferences and company events to build on existing relationships/develop new opportunities.

The Role
As a Partnerships Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of key charity partnerships, including Strategic Partnerships, Resilience Fund partnerships, and Development Fund partnerships. Your role will involve identifying new partners, fostering relationships, providing support, and managing grant processes.
Main responsibilities
Manage Charity Partnerships:
- Draft grant agreements and ensure timely grant payments.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with charity partners.
- Keep accurate records and provide strategic recommendations.
Lead Resilience Fund Programme:
- Develop and promote the programme's vision, outcomes, and assessment criteria.
- Maintain constructive relationships with applicants and support their funding requests.

Research and Development:

Essential requirements:
- Experience in the charity, community, or voluntary sector.
- A background in Grants, making ideally but will consider Grant proposal experience.
- Creative and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT systems.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to project manage the WAGGGS European Guide Conference (EGC) and the Europe Guide and Scout Conference, jointly with the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the Vienna Scouts.
More about the event:
The EGC and the EGSC are delivered together as a 4-day event with some elements online. The event will take place in Vienna, Austria in July 2025 in partnership with the host organisation, the Vienna Scouts. This is the main platform for decision makers in our 42 European Member Organisations to gather for networking and consultation on the direction of travel. The International Commissioners (IC) Forum will take place from 5-8th December in Malta and is the platform for stakeholder engagement prior to the conferences.
Key Responsibilities:

Project manage the delivery of the in-person EGC to ensure that the event fulfils the objectives and is delivered on time and within the WAGGGS budget.

Manage relationship with WOSM and the Vienna Scouts to ensure communication is smooth and that WAGGGS’ input to the EGSC is provided within agreed timelines.

Build and manage relationships with WAGGGS staff, volunteers, partners and Membership Organisations, including working closely with volunteers around the Conferences.

Manage the budget for the EGC.

Manage logistics and coordinate the content of the EGC in collaboration with Europe region staff team and volunteers. Support the EGSC with these elements.

Support the development of the event risk assessment.

Oversee the conferences’ circulars in collaboration with communications colleagues.

Coordinate and monitor conference planning team in collaboration with the conference Lead.

Ensure the conferences comply with WAGGGS visual identity.

DEBRA is seeking members for its Charitable Purposes Committee to inform to inform and develop the Charity’s evolving care and research strategy. Our Charitable Purposes Committee advises our Board of Trustees and is responsible for ensuring that the Charity’s resources are used effectively to support our provision of lifelong care and support for sufferers of the genetic skin disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa, and to support our investments in cutting edge research to find a cure for this debilitating condition.
Key responsibilities of the Charitable Purposes Committee are to:
- Review DEBRA UK’s Research & Care Strategy as it relates to research, health and community support and social policy on an ongoing basis.
- Receive and review reports from medical and scientific experts on current research activities.
- Determine, taking appropriate advice, the priorities for care and research expenditure each year.
- Oversee collaborative partnerships on care and research.
- Develop membership engagement, support and services.
- Review and develop healthcare initiatives to support member care.
- Receive reports on changes in national policy or practice within health and social care and agree appropriate responses from the Charity.
We provide any training necessary to allow you to fulfil your committee duties. This is an unpaid volunteer role, but any reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with the Charity’s expenses policy.
Meetings of the Charitable Purposes Committee currently take place four times a year, each lasting between 2.5-3 hours. The term of appointment is three years.

About the role:
The role of the Services Manager is pivotal to leading the delivery of our services; developing and improving our existing services; and creating new services to widen our impact on veterans and their families, ensuring our clients are supported into meaningful and sustainable employment, with an approach that is tailored to their individual needs.
You’ll be managing a delivery team of up to 8 people, supporting them to deliver our services to veterans and their families to a high standard, and working closely with other service managers to ensure consistency.
