This is an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join and shape this service covering Shetland. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. We are recruiting for two wellbeing practitioners for our service in Harrow. The posts are part of services commissioned between Anna Freud and London Borough of Harrow (Harrow Horizons Early Intervention Service).
The service offers brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address moderate wellbeing needs largely using CBT-based treatment, trauma informed and Mentalization approaches. Work is also conducted jointly with existing professionals where young people present with more complex needs to strengthen the skills and competencies in the multi-agency network. The work takes place on an outreach basis in schools, family homes and other community venues as well as being conducted virtually.
The Wellbeing Practitioner role will be suited to those individuals with skills and experience of working directly in schools/community and who are passionate about delivering high quality evidence-based intervention on a time-limited basis.
The post-holders will also deliver consultation, training, and workshop to non-mental health staff, such as teachers and social workers with other clinicians in the service.

This is a really exciting time to join the gambling support sector, we are at the forefront of providing new and innovative services, supporting gamblers, affected others and organisations in different communities and sectors.
We are seeking one candidate, who has proven experience of delivering support and training services for vulnerable adults, such as in the mental health or addiction sectors. Experience either serving in the military or working with Veterans is important for this role. The Armed Forces Peer Aid Co-ordinator will supervise and work with voluntary Peer Supporters, ensuring a safe and effective network of support is established.
The post holder will work alongside the Head of Peer Support services to oversee recruitment and training of Peer Supporters, assess for additional support needs and personal development goals, and ensure that they are adequately prepared and trained for the role. Thereafter, the Peer Aid Co-ordinator will manage cohorts of Peer Supporters and monitor and evaluate their engagement with referred service users. This will include helping to provide additional services, such as group meetings and meet ups.

• This is a key leadership role, responsible for leading the Trust’s strategic delivery in in the South West of England, managing, inspiring and coaching a multidisciplinary team focused on prioritising activities of greatest impact to take advantage of unique opportunities in the South West whilst ensuring alignment with our UK plans.
• The role reports to the Director Operations and People and is part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for deploying its resources and activities in line with Trust priorities. The role will work collaboratively alongside Country and Regional Directors fostering effective working relationships with colleagues located across the UK.
• The role will represent the Trust professionally, promoting our work externally to high level partners, funders and stakeholders with a particular focus on development and delivery of complex land-use projects, multi-organisation partnerships and management of budgets. We’re at an exciting time in our development and looking for someone who can really drive forward our ambitions in the region.
• Role model Woodland Trust values known as ‘Our Nature’, with both external and internal stakeholders, leading the Wales team to embed and maintain these values ensuring the region is a consistently great place to work.
THE CANDIDATE
• Strong background of leading and managing teams at a senior level, preferably in the conservation or environmental sector, you’ll be an inspirational leader.
• Experience of developing effective relationships internally and externally, you’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level, motivate, inspire and shape strategy.
• Responsible for the creation and delivery of our strategic plan for South West of England you’ll be able to promote the work of the Woodland Trust with energy flair and imagination to high level partners, funders and stakeholders.
• Experience in shaping and implementing organisational strategy as well as setting and managing multi-million £ budgets, having the responsibility to report to executive levels.
• Experience in delivering operational leadership, change management and high performance across the operations function including multiple complex projects.
• The role is based in in South West England and will require the successful candidate to undertake travel across a wide area. A full driving licence is required and use of a vehicle.

Collaborate closely with our Senior Fundraising Manager to identify funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, support individual giving and contribute to bid writing for projects that align with CSE’s strategic goals.
Pay and conditions
- The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) but will consider a minimum of 30 hours.
- The salary for the role will be £27,121 to £32,486
- You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Write compelling funding pitches for projects or fundraising campaigns.
- Represent CSE at external events to promote our work, support horizon scanning and identify future partners for the fundraising team to work with.
- Maintain accurate and up to date fundraising content on website, all other CSE communications channels and third-party platforms.
- Support the running of online and in-person events to raise awareness of CSE’s work with key stakeholders and potential funders.
- Steward current individual supporters, building engagement through a supporter journey.
- Develop campaigns and appeals to engage with new audiences and encourage new supporters.
- Ensure all income and donations are processed, and acknowledged appropriately, including using systems for accurately managing supporter data.
- Research Trusts and Foundations to identify prospects with objectives which align with CSE’s strategic goals. Collate this information in an appropriate, accessible format.
- Develop creative ways of presenting CSE to engage corporate partners leading to mutually beneficial relationships with social purpose.
- Write content for sections of bids.

Essential attributes for this role include:
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Competence with MS Office programmes – in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Excellent verbal and written communication expertise, able to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences.
- Empathetic and communicative – able to nurture and build relationships with a wide range of donors and supporters.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills, including priority setting, multi-tasking and problem-solving.
- Understanding of trust and foundation funders.

Job purpose
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the policy influencing work of Runnymede across a wide range of areas. Your responsibilities will involve researching and developing evidence-based policy positions, drafting briefings in priority areas and supporting with policy reports, while working closely with other members of the team to contribute to organisational initiatives. A key part of this role will involve supporting the Policy Manager and Head of Policy in managing the Runnymede’s Parliamentary engagement, which includes monitoring ongoing legislation, organising Parliamentary events and managing the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Race and Community.
This is a challenging position that requires strong organisational skills, an ability to navigate high-stakes environments, and a keen understanding of policy nuance within the shifting landscape of race and social justice. You will be integral to shaping and advancing Runnymede’s anti-racist agenda and will thrive on collaboration and learning in a responsive and dynamic environment.
