About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Philanthropic Programs Director, you will lead and keep developing AIM's Impactful Grantmaking training program and oversee our five funding circles. Your primary responsibility will be outreach, program facilitation, and hands-on philanthropic advising for the twice-annual 9-week cohorts of funders giving over $1M annually.
This is a fairly senior position with high stakes, a lot of potential for development, and outstandingly high potential for impact, and thus best suited to an individual with at a minimum 3-5 years of experience and some deep prior expertise in the philanthropic sector.

Social media delivery and community management

What are we looking for?
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who can confidently provide high-quality customer service. You'll need to be comfortable handling sensitive information, with a strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You should be proactive in spotting and resolving issues as they arise. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively are essential.
Experience with Microsoft Office and databases is important, along with strong interpersonal skills that allow you to influence and negotiate with tact and diplomacy when needed.

About Us
Our vision is a world free from MND. Our mission is to improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. We fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so the needs of people with MND, and everyone who cares for them, are recognised, and addressed by wider society.
