Citizen has partnered with Resurgo to deliver the Spear programme in the heart of South Wales.
They are looking for a new Assistant Coach, to work alongside the Centre Manager, as part of the team at Citizen Church to deliver the Spear Programme, equipping and empowering unemployed 16–24 year olds to overcome barriers to employment and turn their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.
The important stuff
Salary: £21,500 p.a. pro rata for part-time role (£10,750)
Hours: Part time, 2.5 days per week, between 9.30am – 5.30pm, Tuesday – Thursday (with some flexibility and occasional evening or weekend work for events such as Spear Celebrations)

Key Responsibilities
Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
- Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.
Relationship management
- Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
- You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre
Church Community
- The Spear Coach is directly employed by Citizen Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
- Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within Citizen Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation
- Other ad hoc church responsibilities from time to time.

About the role
Christian Aid's Campaign and UK Advocacy division exists to support Christian Aid's mission by making change happen through influencing people in power; engaging, inspiring and equipping people to make their voice heard; and working with allies and champions in the church, Parliament and beyond.
This role exists to influence members of the UK Parliament and other political targets to help advance our policy, advocacy and campaigning on climate and economic justice, and crisis contexts - currently with a particular focus on Gaza and the wider Occupied Palestinian Territory. In a fast moving and rapidly changing political environment, the role is responsible for identifying the most important people for influencing the UK Government; engaging MPs to speak up on our issues; monitoring parliamentary activity; building relationships with champions inside and outside of Westminster; scanning the political horizon to support the Chief of UK Advocacy and Policy and others in the organisation; and organising events to raise Christian Aid's profile in the political arena.

You will have an excellent knowledge of the UK Government and Parliament, how policy change happens in the UK and how to develop effective advocacy strategies to achieve change. Samaritan’s Purse is looking for a well-connected individual to act as our London Donor Ministries contact. This would either be a Donor Ministries Associate or Donor Ministries Manager.
The role is full time, remotely based, but with one day a week from our National Ministry Centre in Coventry.
The role will involve working some Sundays, when church opportunities occur.

As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and residents, you'll warmly welcome guests and help direct enquiries as needed, and handle reception duties with professionalism. This involves managing the reception desk, including liaising with volunteers who assist with that function, accessing calendars, sending emails, and performing other basic administrative tasks to keep the front office running smoothly.

You will be responsible for coordinating healthcare services for our male residents undergoing drug and alcohol treatment, including medication management, accessing GP and specialist services, and promoting overall wellbeing. We are looking for a well-organised and caring professional with excellent administration skills to support our Healthcare Coordinator in overseeing the medication and healthcare needs of our male residents as they progress through their recovery from drug or alcohol abuse.
The role involves both administrative and practical tasks, as well as direct involvement in helping residents manage their own healthcare needs alongside supporting their wider recovery and spiritual growth.

We are looking for a strong and capable team player to work alongside our Operations Manager and group of Registered Managers across our residential care homes for older people and housing communities for women and young people. As a line manager for our community leads, previous people management experience is essential.
Working to help Keychange deliver the best support to our service users, this will be a varied role, including ensuring that our services comply with regulatory requirements, overseeing the delivery of our quality assurance framework, empowering our registered managers to deliver the highest standards of care and support, and assisting our Director of Operations in the smooth daily running of all operations across our nine community sites.

Support Worker (Substance Misuse)
We are looking for someone mature, motivated and caring to provide tailored person-centred support to our residents in their recovery journey. If you have a heart to see people overcome substance misuse - to reset, recover, and restore their lives - please join our dynamic team.
You will be providing one-to-one and group support to men who are overcoming substance abuse issues, helping them to achieve their personal goals in all areas of life (behaviour, health, housing, employment, faith etc.). You will therefore have great inter-personal skills and the ability to implement firm but caring boundaries. In addition, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including updating care plans and risk assessments, writing progress reports for funders, and processing leave and visit applications.
This is a full-time, permanent role for 40 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends (part-time work could be considered for the right candidate).
