The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. As a leading international Christian development charity, we work in 10 countries across Africa and Asia to defeat leprosy and transform lives.
Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them.
We are looking for an inspirational communicator to be the face of The Leprosy Mission. You’ll be working from home, with extensive travel across your region. Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide executive support to the Head of Delivery.
- Support with improvement of systems and processes.
- Support with administration of projects (Resettlement, Hosting & Integration Hub).

Hours
This role could be 37.5 or 30 hours per week depending on the preference of the candidate. The workload of the role would be adjusted accordingly. Specific hours will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process to accommodate both the candidate's and the company's needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Location: Hybrid role with two days at MAF UK, Folkestone, and one day at our Operations Centre, MAF International, Ashford. The remaining two days from home or you may work at the office.
Working Hours: Full-time role (36 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours occasionally outside normal business hours). Hours should be agreed with the line manager.
Annual Leave: 22 days per year plus 8 paid public holidays.
Pension Scheme: Non-contributory (10% of salary).
Probation: 3 months (with a one-month review).

- A minimum of three years’ major donor fundraising experience for a charity.

The World Watch List is Open Doors’ annual ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution. Could you see yourself contributing to the development of the WWL as a world class instrument for monitoring persecution? Then our World Watch Unit (WWU) team at Open Doors International (ODI) is looking forward to welcoming you to their team!
With the team, you will be responsible for the quality of the WWL, ensuring that the data generated is communicated in a form that will be most relevant to the various constituent parts of Open Doors and beyond.
Your main responsibility is to work together with local and regional experts, as well as with other organizations that produce information on religious persecution, to monitor and score persecution. You will contribute, for the countries in your portfolio, to the establishment and continuous update of country profiles. Your portfolio will consist of a group of Asian countries, and you will report to the WWL Manager.
Your key responsibilities
- To contribute to the development of the WWL as a world class instrument for monitoring persecution.
- To monitor and score persecution.
- To produce Full Country Dossiers and other persecution-related reports and country profiles for your portfolio.
- To strengthen the capacity of ODI’s internal network of researchers in research methodologies.
- To produce and review country analyses and to steer interdisciplinary teams drawn from the different areas of the organization for the production and review of the country analyses.
- To communicate results in speaking and writing to different target groups.
Your profile
- Committed Christian with a heart for the Persecuted Church.
- Master’s degree in relevant area or equivalent experience.
- Proven field research expertise in multi-cultural, complex and risky contexts and strong analytical skills.
- Able to combine accuracy with helicopter view and being a team player with being a self-starter.
- Written and verbal communication skills; primarily in English, knowledge of local Asian languages will be a plus.
- Able to travel to the field as well as to ODI bases.

- Work with the programme co-ordinator and additional administrative support to deliver the SLDP discernment process from initiation to completion at the moderation panel and the subsequent communication of outcomes and feedback. This will include serving on the panels, working with all key stakeholders associated with the discernment process and ensuring accurate information is provided and recorded across the entire process.
- Drive the approach and continual evolution for the SLDP programme ensuring the design, development and implementation of a high- quality L&D curriculum for the learning community.
- Shape, plan, schedule, implement and evaluate each element of the learning design including residential modules, mentoring, senior leadership and pilgrimage experiences and projects linked to the national vision and strategy of the Church of England.
- Manage the programmatic complexity of having multiple cohorts at different points in the learning journey.
- Act as the lead facilitator on each module to provide 'sign-posting' throughout the agenda plus expert input where relevant.
- Ensure high quality input through the identification, commissioning, briefing, supervision and review of internal and external experts as faculty and facilitators in the modules, or in the provision of mentoring, or learning experiences.
- Engagement and supervision of external coaches to provide role coaching at agreed points across the programme.
- Collate trends and data from the evaluations and participants to inform future design, and to demonstrate the impact of the programme.
- Present at governance meetings and any other relevant project boards, to consult with and influence senior leaders across the Church.
- Manage administrative support which is provided by a Project Co-Ordinator.
- Contribute to the development and facilitation of bespoke learning interventions for various groups as needs emerge e.g. action-learning groups, development for BAME clergy and Church Traditions, or the design of cross learning community events.
- Help to build and maintain a high-quality pool of external coaches and teaching faculty.
- Coach senior leaders from any of the leadership programmes as the opportunities arise.
- Contribute to writing reports for key bodies when required, including the House of Bishops, the College of Bishops and General Synod if required.
- Deputise for the Head of Senior Leadership Development in internal and external meetings if required
- Contribute to the 'knowledge capital' on leadership in the Church and to the organisational learning that arises from the programmes.

The Role of New Worshipping Communities Coordinator
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with both good administration and people skills to join us and provide support to the Director of New Worshipping Communities as we work to launch 150 New Worshipping Communities. The role has a focus on the creation and facilitation of learning community events to support leaders of New Worshipping Communities.
The main responsibilities of the New Worshipping Communities Coordinator are:
Working with the Director of New Worshipping Communities on the logistics of event organising, liaising with contributors and attendees and assisting with publicity. Facilitating Learning Communities through working with the national Myriad team and local Mission Hub leaders to put together excellent support for pioneering lay leaders.

About the Role
As the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure major donations from individuals in the first instance. You will also manage the Senior Trusts & Foundations Manager. Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Job Purpose
As Growing Hope reaches towards its vision to have twenty clinics by 2030, the Senior Team require additional support in order that they can fulfil the strategic direction of their roles. Key Responsibilities
The post-holder(s) will:
- Oversee the ongoing development and delivery of the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) programmes for both dioceses.
- Maximise the alignment of the plans for each diocese as far as is practical to optimise the benefit of working together in partnership, and actively identify and develop opportunities for partnership working in delivery. Specifically, to develop a NZC action plan for Rochester including managing the adoption of the plan by the appropriate governance committees. (Note: Canterbury already has an approved NZC action plan.)
- Develop, maintain and deliver an implementation plan which highlights the strategic activities, has clear objectives and impact measures; including evaluation.
- Working with other diocesan colleagues, oversee the planning and development of decarbonisation projects to deliver the ambitions and targets in the NZC Action plans.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a track record of delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in a not-for-profit environment with and understanding of environmental and climate issue. An understanding of how these issues affect the Church of England would be beneficial.
