You will have responsibility for ensuring Client Experience across all communication channels including the website, email communication, telephone, knowledge base and chatbots.
As part of this, you will understand the role and responsibilities of the Office Administrator responsibilities so you can provide training, backfill and assist during busy periods. This includes:

Key Responsibilities
Programme Management
- Lead and be responsible for the delivery of The Elephant Group’s programmes across all partnerships including large scale events. This will include personally delivering content to young people, presentations to stakeholders and acting as a facilitator.
- Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring high-quality programme delivery and compliance with contractual obligations, including reporting.
- Lead monitoring and evaluation processes, working to assess programme impact and refine delivery.
- Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and providing regular updates to the CEO.
Programme Development and Innovation
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance programme quality, reach, and impact.
- Use all forms of information provision to continually improve programmes and measure programme efficacy.

- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and support funding bids in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Development.

THE ROLE
- We are going through an exciting period of development, with significant opportunity for growth within our corporate partnerships and high levels of interest to build-on and develop. Income Generation
- Account manage a portfolio of corporate partners and public sector organisations, to meet operational priorities and annual income targets, providing an excellent supporter experience

- Collaborate with Network Managers on regional corporate partnerships, to ensure consistent supporter experience and identify opportunities for development, as appropriate.

- Promote payroll giving and other employee fundraising activities and campaigns.
- Oversee calendar of third party events, liaising with external partners

Engagement
- Develop a suite of engagement materials working with Communications Manager and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with Communications Manager on annual communications plans, including fundraising campaigns in support of International Women’s Day and The Big Give.
- Work with Communications Manager to ensure regular updates to website and other digital channels (social, e-newsletters), identifying opportunities for partnership activities.
Stewardship
- Develop account management processes, ensuring timely impact reporting or other agreed deliverables.
- Ensure all donations and supporters are thanked in a timely and appropriate mode to their giving channel.
- Keep all relevant donor contact history and financial information up-to-date on Salesforce, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other relevant good practice.
- Work with Head of Fundraising & Communications and CEO to deliver appropriate partner recognition including events and other engagement activities.

The Role
Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to lead our education programmes. This will involve talking to new schools about using the site, working with schools to support them to implement Vocabulous in lessons and running regional training programmes to build networks of schools that are confidently and consistently teaching Latin and Greek roots.
The other aspect of the role is to contribute to the development of the new KS2 and KS3 curricula. This will involve designing aspects of the new programmes, writing questions and resources, and planning changes in response to school feedback. Over the next couple of years, the programme is going to be split into a KS2 site and a KS3 site, with the KS2 site being launched in September 2025.
We are a small organisation with a social purpose, so we are looking for someone who is excited about the job description, but who is also interested in learning more about all aspects of running an education start-up and keen to support Vocabulous’ strategy and growth beyond their job role.
Key responsibilities include:
Training and School Partnerships

About the role:
This role is home based, working 6 hours a day between 12-30 hours per week. Days and hours to be discussed, if successful.
There will be an initial induction period that will run for 3 consecutive days 9am-5pm in person at the National Contact Centre. After successfully completing your induction, you will move to your fixed rota, an example of an 18 hour rota is below:
Week 1 of rolling rota: Monday 14:00 to 20:00, Tuesday 16:00 to 22:00 & Thursday 08:00 to 14:00
Week 2 of rolling rota: Monday 08:00 to 14:00, Wednesday 08:00 to 14:00 & Sunday 17:00 to 23:00
Week 3 of rolling rota: Friday 16:00 to 22:00, Saturday 16:00 to 22:00 & Sunday 10:00 to 16:00
As a Live Chat Support Worker you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate emotional support, practical advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.
- Responsible for recording live chat conversations with victims of crime accurately and professionally, including recording all safeguarding actions taken.
- Responsible for taking disclosures and responding appropriately by either escalating the safeguarding concern to the 'Designated Safeguarding Officer' or to respond immediately to life threatening situations.
You will need:
- Experience of working in challenging and changing environments with the emphasis on excellence in service delivery.
- Experience of organising and prioritising a complex workload.
- The ability to deal sensitively with challenging and emotionally charged situations, demonstrate empathy and control own emotions.
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form and have competency in digital programmes (such as Microsoft)
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Relevant agencies and resources
- Importance of confidentiality and safe working practice
- Diversity issues and principles
- The impact of crime
You must be able to attend an initial 3 day induction and quarterly refresher training in Cardiff, accommodation will be provided.

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum
Location: Remote – UK based. Our offices are in East London but we welcome applicants from across the UK who do not wish to relocate. Please note that travel to our London office for regular meetings would be at your own cost.
Hours: 4-5 days a week (flexible – minimum 28 hours/ week)
Contract: Interim. circa eight months, from mid-March 2025
Secondments will be considered.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays and three days off between Christmas and New Year. We currently offer a non-contractual 4.5 day working week, with staff having Friday afternoons off, subject to work demands.
