We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed individual to the role of Front of House / Office Administrator to work within our busy, public-facing front office. The varied role froms an integral part of the Coram’s Fields central team and combines customer service responsibilities with a range of day-to-day administrative functions, including some finance and communication related duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for the public, dealing with enquries via phone, email and in person.
- Administration of our hall hire booking system and ensuring all customers have an excellent facility hire experience at Coram’s Fields.
- Supporting our range of community and fundraising events, acting as a strong ambassador for the charity and our work.
- A number of finance-related duties, including management of the office petty cash system and reconciliation of all cash income.
- Communications assistance, including updating our website and social media accounts and the production of content for these.

Centre Administrator

Sutton Carers Centre works in partnership to help improve and maintain the quality of life for these Young and Adult Carers living, working, studying or caring in the London Borough of Sutton.
We are looking to recruit to a key and rewarding role in our charity. The members of our team are highly skilled, passionate and committed, so we are looking for an experienced administrator who can support them. The successful candidate will be skilled in office administrative functions, to ensure the delivery of an efficient, friendly and smooth-running Centre as well as office co-ordination and support services. The post-holder will have experience of developing, maintaining and improving systems in an office environment. The post-holder will also oversee reception functions, including the support of the administration and reception volunteers.
You also will have excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills and be able to express yourself well in person and in writing. The successful candidate will be positive, empathic, creative and boundaried in their ability to work alongside Carers as well as our colleagues and partners, in helping Carers maintain their own health and wellbeing alongside their caring roles.

Job Summary
The Administration Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Bishop of the Edmonton Episcopal area. This includes handling communications, managing schedules, maintaining records, and assisting with safeguarding. Strong organizational skills and confidentiality are essential.
Job Responsibilities
Administrative
- Handle mail, inquiries, telephone calls, and emails to ensure smooth communication.
- Manage the Bishop’s diary and inbox daily, resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Draft letters, memos, and documents as requested.
- Maintain central databases (People System, CMS, Crockfords).
- Liaise with the Director of Ministry for ordination ceremonies.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel for the Bishop.
- Organize meetings, set agendas, take minutes, and distribute them.
- Compile the diocesan newsletter and communications.
- Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
- Assist with the renewal and issuance of permissions for clergy and laity.
- Maintain awareness of significant events (confirmations, ordinations, etc.).
Reception and Hospitality
- Provide a professional welcome to visitors.
- Coordinate events, such as seminars, conferences, interviews, and social gatherings. Liaise with external parties to ensure successful execution.
Safeguarding
- Ensure safer recruitment processes, working with the HR team on checks.
- Monitor visa status for clergy without British citizenship.
- Track DBS checks and safeguarding training for clergy and licensed ministers.
- Manage clergy ‘blue files’ in line with GDPR and statutory requirements.
- Handle sensitive safeguarding concerns, identifying appropriate actions.
- Respond to pastoral situations such as clergy in crisis or safeguarding concerns.

We champion access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation under legal aid contract and through grant funding. Our Policy and Practice Change Team promotes the rights of children, young people and families through training and capacity building to professionals and systems change through research, policy and advocacy.
CCLC’s Finance and Billing Team is based in our London and Colchester office. It is anticipated this role would be based in our London office working alongside the Finance and Operations Manager.
About the role
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, multi-skilled Finance and Billing Assistant to support our busy practice.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide financial and administrative assistance to the Finance and Operations team, particularly focussed on increasing our Legal Aid billing capacity. This may involve assistance with broader financial and administrative tasks in order to release the overall capacity of the whole Finance Team to increase efficiency and maximise Legal Aid billing. From time to time, the role may also be required to provide general administrative and reception assistance, particularly for annual leave cover.
The role would suit an organised and efficient individual with strong IT skills who is looking to develop a career working within the charity finance or business support sector. This would be a particularly rewarding role for someone with an appreciation of the important role legal aid advice and representation plays in securing access to justice for the most vulnerable in society. Previous experience working in an administrative, operations or finance role would be desirable. However, full training will be provided and ongoing support and supervision will be available and therefore it is most important that the successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to work independently and show initiative and problem solving skills.
This is an office-based role and as such the successful candidate will benefit from being part of an experienced team. However, whilst this is a full-time position, we will consider requests for part-time working (28 hours per week minimum) and we will endeavour to offer some flexibility with days and hours to be agreed.
