Key Purpose of the role
As a Head of Relationships, you will Build and maintain the relationship with target local authorities, making sure we understand what local authorities need and want and grow our income and increase the provision of our services.
The role will be to ensure that exceptional business relationships are developed with our commissioners guaranteeing the long term sustainability of the contracts. You will be the subject matter expert for your assigned commissioner and Local Authority and negotiate new business outside of the frameworks and tenders. While assessing service delivery against contracts and provide feedback on any gaps in operations, you will convey any necessary changes with the commissioners.
Who you are
To be successful, you will have senior level experience of being a Relationship/Account Manager for Local Authorities, Commissioners or Multi-Million corporate clients. With credibility in building relationships with public sector funders/commissioners you will have significant experience of negotiation and able to apply different techniques to varying situations. You will have leadership and motivational experience with a multicultural staff team with the ability to create a high performance environment, for all our contracts while setting and monitoring measures that reflect the corporate objectives and customer goals.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of EngineeringUK’s work to understand the impact of our activity at a programme and organisational level. You will have responsibility for developing and embedding our approach to impact evaluation that enables us to measure progress against our organisational mission, measure and evaluate the impact of our activities and support the wider community in improving approaches to monitoring and evaluation. FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
The aim of the Interpersonal Trauma Service is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse.
Following a successful trial in several surgeries, this service is now being rolled out across Devon, Plymouth, and Torbay. So, this is a very exciting opportunity to take ownership and be part of an innovative new service, delivering real improvements to the local community.
You will work across a specified number of GP practices, to offer support to health professionals working in practices, people who have experience of interpersonal trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse, as well as a service for people at risk of perpetrating abuse.
You and the team will provide training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry, and response for patients. You and your team will also support adults and children who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical support, focusing on trauma stabilisation. The team will be responsible for facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services where needed.
Key responsibilities:
· To provide specialist, individual and needs-led domestic violence/ abuse (DVA) and sexual violence (SV) advocacy and support to patients who are or have experienced DVA/SV, who are referred from participating practices or self-refer, and to provide onward referrals where appropriate.
· To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients who are affected by DVA/SV.
· Build and maintain effective relationships with general practice teams.
· To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around DVA and SV to practice teams.
· To encourage general practice health professionals to ask patients about their experience of abuse and respond, record, safety check and refer.
· To provide feedback on case outcomes to referring clinicians.
· To collect and collate performance and monitoring data for reporting purposes.
· Provide in-house training & refresher training for general practice teams on understanding, recognising, and responding to domestic violence and abuse (DVA) and sexual violence (SV).
2. Advocacy and support work
· Provide support to increase people’s personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights.
· Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice.
· Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies where needed.
· Keep accurate records of all referrals received and of work done with or on behalf of service users.

· Arrange dates for refresher training sessions with practices.

ROLE CONTEXT
ABOUT ALL SAINTS: There has never been a more exciting time to join the team at All Saints. As part of a new project to revitalise the church for the Island, we are planting the first-ever contemporary service into the Church as part of the HTB network of churches (including Harbour Church Portsmouth). We are currently building an amazing team to bring the vision to life. So, this is a rare opportunity to join a new foundational team and community and to be part of the team that sets the vision, values, and culture for the next phase of ministry at All Saints as we explore what it looks like to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the Church, and the transformation of society.
ABOUT RYDE: Ryde is just a 10-minute journey on the hovercraft from Portsmouth Harbour. Ryde is known as ‘the gateway to the Island with several main travel points located within it. It also has a long stretch of sandy beach and lots of independent shops and cafes. The largest town on the Isle of Wight with a population of 37k. The Church is a landmark on the island with the spire visible from many places around the Isle of Wight and from the mainland projecting beyond the town skyline. ROLE PURPOSE

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the contract manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.
Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

What you'll do:
Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisations succession plans
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations
Deliver an out of hours on-call service for region, where required
Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

Animal Trust Vets CIC is the only B-Corp, Community Interest Vet in the U.K.
Our teams provide fair and affordable treatment to thousands of pets every year. We believe pet owners should be able to enjoy their four-legged friends without the burden of financial anxiety when their pet becomes ill.
Animal Trust was founded over 10 years ago and has 12 surgery locations in Cheshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Shropshire, and North Wales. With an ambitious growth plan, we want our brand to be at the forefront of all pet owners and veterinary clinicians' minds.
What you’ll bring to the team
In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing Animal Trust's earned media plan. We aim to raise our brand profile nationally with consumers and within the veterinary industry.
As part of a small team, reporting to the Brand Manager, you will primarily deliver activity that generates on-brand coverage across all media in the veterinary industry. We also need to raise consumer awareness via the appropriate media.
You will:
- Manage creative PR activations.
- Identify and oversee media opportunities.
- Coordinate an ongoing programme of media and influencer visits.
- Deliver media amplification and attendance for key events, such as a new surgery opening.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key journalists.
- Write articles for our website for both consumers and industry.
- Write press releases, media kits and communications material for events.
- Evaluate and report on results and effectiveness of P.R. activity.
- Manage crisis communications, including preparing and executing statements to protect the brand’s reputation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- This is a great opportunity for an experienced, outstanding P.R. professional looking to work with a not-for-profit veterinary brand focused on providing affordable pet health care to the many, not the few.
- Educated to degree level.
- A highly motivated and confident individual with an eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changes.
- Up-to-date media sector knowledge and strong relationships with journalists.
- An awareness and enthusiasm for the latest P.R. cultural trends and acting as an internal expert on industry developments.
- Demonstrates creative flair to generate ideas that contribute to the earned media plan.
- Extensive experience writing press releases and media materials, facilitating press interviews, and briefing spokespeople for interviews.
- Crisis management experience.
- Experienced in reporting on PR activity, including using media measurement tools to track and evaluate coverage.
- Excellent organisational skills, budget, and time management.
- The ability to liaise and forge strong relationships with a cross-section of teams across the organisation, as well as the media, influencers, and VIPs.
