Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate the programme of supporter-led (or ‘DIY’) challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation.
As the Challenge Events Executive (DIY), you will leverage your knowledge and insight to identify new partnerships and opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that increase participant numbers and creating stewardship journeys that ensure excellent supporter experiences and maximise income. Additionally, you will be responsible for stewarding the ‘DIY’ challenge event supporters and will work to provide automated stewardship suitable for the masses as well as bespoke stewardship to the high value supporters.
To be successful in the site role, you will have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. You should possess hands-on experience utilising relationship databases, coupled with an understanding of effective marketing channels, particularly digital. Additionally, expertise in stewardship techniques will be crucial for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts. You should also have an understanding of how to use insights, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

The Head of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations is a strategic and dynamic leadership position within the Policy and External Affairs directorate. JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR is looking for a Digital Communications Officer to join its team, raising vital support for displaced people around the world through creative campaigns such as the Refugee Dictionary, Cuppa Hope as well as fundraising appeals and partnerships.
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, the Digital Communications Officer will have particular focus delivering day to day social media communications, including community management, publishing, content management and development. This role will also support wider digital communications activities, such as with the Senior Digital Communications Officer who manages the website.
This involves identifying opportunities to amplify appeals, campaigns and partnerships through social media to support UK for UNHCR’s fundraising and public advocacy objectives. Raising awareness of global refugee crises and UNHCR’s humanitarian operations forms a central part of this storytelling, as well as thematic campaigns and PR moments throughout the year.
One of your first focuses will be helping grow and verify UK for UNHCR’s TikTok account and LinkedIn presence, in addition to transitioning the charity’s channels to a new social media management tool. You will also work closely with the wider Communications team in supporting online and offline fundraising appeals.
The Digital Communications Officer will also work with the wider Communications team to identify and support storytellers (including refugees and supporters) to share their stories through the charity’s social media channels.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, coordination and growth
- Deliver and schedule social media content on a daily and weekly basis, with flexibility to respond to news events and emergencies at short notice.
- Produce or commission multimedia content, including videos, graphics and photography to support charity activity on social media.
- Apply understanding of UNHCR’s humanitarian work to deliver strong storytelling and relevant content to the audience.
- Adapt content from UNHCR’s head office and field communications to localise for UK audiences.
- Develop social media editorial plans to amplify campaigns, milestones and events.
- Deliver planning and scheduling in a timely manner and be quick to respond to news and emergencies.
- Flag and navigate political sensitivities in line with UNHCR and charity policies.
- Deliver on a paid media strategy to amplify social media content more broadly, with a focus on Meta ads manager.
- Update and maintain community management guidelines on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to monitor and moderate all of the charity’s social media channels.
- Other support for digital communications as required, such as helping cover website activities when colleagues are on leave.
Analytics, reporting and best practice
- Deliver regular reports outlining the performance of our content and channels, ensuring we’re on track to reach 100k followers by the end of 2026.
- Create and lead on a testing roadmap, leveraging new features across all social media channels.
- Keep up to date with social media content trends, news and tools to inform best practice and strategy.
- Provide subject matter expertise, proactive assistance and advice as required for planning and delivery of digital and supporter journey projects.
- Observe all legal and legislative requirements, comply with policies and procedures, and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and integrity.

We are accountable and responsible for gathering, analysing, contributing, and mobilising evidence and insight to strengthen the case for dementia across the UK - bringing this to bear to our people in Alzheimer’s Society and the dementia system locally and nationally.
We are evidence and data-driven, factual, and solution-focused. Our strategic evidence base will ensure that Society’s decisions and interpretation of dementia and the system are based on the highest quality of dementia evidence and will:
• Demonstrate the scale of dementia in the UK
• Demonstrate the impact of dementia on the system and those affected by the disease
• Underpin the response of Alzheimer’s Society and the wider system to the big challenges dementia poses
As our Strategic Evidence Manager, you will have the responsibility of delivering the development and curation of our strategic evidence base and will play a significant role in our mission to make dementia the priority it needs to be.
You will lead a team of two Strategic Evidence Officers and work alongside a Health Economics Lead and a Dementia Data and Intelligence Lead. You’ll also be part of an even larger Evidence, Policy & Influencing (EP&I) function, which is laser-focused on ending the devastation of dementia through changing policy and an integral part of the EP&I Management Team. Integration and teamwork are everything in this role – with colleagues internally and with the system externally.
You will:
- Be an internal and external influencer, using your understanding of Alzheimer’s Society strategy and the external environment to manage the development, delivery, and curation of our strategic evidence-base.
- Deploy an integrated three-nations approach to our work, building consistency of approach and sharing of best practices while flexing to account for the different environments.
- Identify and recommend evidence gaps, including influencing for their fulfilment, spotting opportunities to generate and commission new evidence, and working in collaboration with external suppliers, and think tanks of academics.
- Make our strategic evidence base everyone’s business – to our people and key players in the dementia system.
- Inspire and motivate people towards shared objectives and goals, encouraging an environment where people can be themselves safely share their opinions and be able to listen and support others.
About you

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is currently recruiting for the position of ‘Supporter Relations Income Officer' to join its dynamic Supporter Care Team. The purpose of the role is to oversee the day-to-day supporter relations Income operations, contributing towards developing and managing related processes for staff, supporters and the public in order to ensure all fundraising administration opportunities and supporter contribution to IR are maximised.

As Community Content and Information Lead you will be joining Breakthrough T1D, as part of our Community Engagement team. This role will work at the heart of a passionate team who deliver information and support to people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) to live well with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage T1D at all ages and stages, championing community voice at every stage.
You will be an enthusiastic person with an eye for detail with the ability to plan, manage and deliver our community-based content and information, using expertise and knowledge of new developments. This is an exciting time to join the team with ambitious plans to refresh, review and update many of our resources.
You will be an experienced information content professional, you may have worked for charities before in similar roles. You will be driven by insight, community feedback and unmet needs with the ability to be agile to adopt new approaches.

Position Summary
The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking to appoint a Social Media and Content Manager towork with the Marketing team to promote all aspects of the offer – someone who is passionate about social media and is excited to be an innovator in the sector.
The newly created role will be focused on developing and implementing a new social and content strategy, with strands of activity that focus on growing and engaging audiences, raising the profile of the Orchestra on a global scale and maximising income. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and optimisation of all our social channels, as well as content development and capture. Importantly, the candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Concerts teams to ensure our social channels are full of rich and engaging content, and a central part of the marketing mix. They will need to be confident in developing relationships pan- organisation, as they will work closely with a core group of staff and players to expand the capture and development of content.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- With the Marketing team and any external research/audience agencies, develop an annual content and social strategy and planner, which serves all areas of the business and campaigns
- Develop a brand personality appropriate to each channel, which builds on the Philharmonia core brand mission and values
- Develop a strategy for paid social activity and digital advertising
- Look at the introduction of more social channels, where appropriate
- Using various analytics tools, and tied to the wider organisational data strategy, develop reports for circulation on a regular basis, which show growth in audience numbers and engagement
Project Management:
- Schedule and optimise social channels (organic), ensuring there is a variety of content with a consistent TOV and brand, which delivers audience engagement, growth, and diversification
- Schedule and optimise paid social and digital advertising to maximise best performing channels
- Work with Managers to support with SEO and website navigation, as part of the whole customer journey
- With the Managers and an external agency, support with optimisation of the Google Grant account
- Analyse the effectiveness of all social and content and implement any optimisations and learnings
- Attend concerts and activities where relevant and part of the strategy, in order to capture imagery, stories and footage
- Coordinate with the stage management and concerts teams to ensure that information is shared well in advance and opportunities are maximised
- Work with partner venues and organisations to promote the work we do as engagements and on tour, in support of both parties’ strategies
- Work with the Data and Insight Manager to improve data capture, monitoring and understanding
Leadership and Management:
- With the Director of Marketing & Comms, work to engage the whole Orchestra in the production of content
- Work with a core group of players and staff to build confidence in the creation of content and capture, building a strong in-house team
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Attend workshops/conferences/seminars to be on the front foot of social media and content development – share learnings with the team and other stakeholders
- Be a brand guardian for the Philharmonia identity, working with the Director of Marketing & Comms to evolve and optimise branding across online channels and beyond
- Work with Director of Marketing & Comms on new online projects that may arise, as part of the programme and business development
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a relevant role
- A champion for social media and content development
- Knowledge of all social platforms, Google Analytics and other reporting tools
- Passion and interest for music and the arts, with a good understanding of orchestras
- Some experience in photography/videography (does not need to be an academic qualification
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate convincingly to a diverse range of people
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills, with the ability to create strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and colleagues

ShareAction’s Financial Sector Research (FSR) team researches a variety of sectors’ performance and publishes regular rankings and analysis, as well as engaging with each surveyed institution and providing them with detailed recommendations for improvement. The FSR team also supports other campaign teams within ShareAction by providing relevant data and increasingly aims to share more data externally, too.
What you’ll do
The Senior Research Officer will contribute to this research, collecting information from institutions and databases, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, producing engaging content, and translating this analysis into actionable steps for institutions in our reports.
The focus of this role is to support the production and publication of our survey of the European banking sector. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in both the Financial Sector Research and the Banking Standards teams to:
- Develop a methodology that is consistent with other financial sector benchmarks published by ShareAction, reflects recent market developments, draws on internal and external subject matter expertise, and reflects our campaign priorities.
- Collect, audit and analyse data regarding banks’ climate and sustainability strategies.
- Produce accurate and engaging written reports and data visualisations summarising the key findings of the research and drafting credible and persuasive recommendations.
- Support the presentation of the survey’s findings to banks, investors, funders, and the media.
- Contribute to responses to external consultations from regulators, policymakers, and other NGOs and support data sharing with external partners as appropriate.
The survey and benchmark of the European banking sector will be led by the Banking Programme team, with support from the Financial Sector Research team. This role will sit within the Financial Sector Research team, to benefit from the experience and processes already established for ShareAction’s asset management and insurance benchmarks. While you will focus on the survey of the European banking sector, there will be an opportunity to contribute to and learn about the other financial sector benchmarks as part of this role.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing quantitative and qualitative data and writing reports on banks’ responsible finance performance.
- Coordinating between the Financial Sector Research and Banking Standards teams to ensure consistency across ShareAction’s financial sector benchmarks.
- Conducting research across the themes covered by the benchmarks that draws on internal and external resources to inform survey development and data analysis.
- Using Excel and Python to analyse and organise large data sets (training will be provided for Python if needed).
- Participating in engagement calls with banks and answering technical questions relating to the research content.
- Presenting findings of our work to external and internal stakeholders through blogs, presentations, webinars, and roundtables and supporting the coordination of these events as appropriate.
- Organising and planning work with a high level of autonomy.
- Supporting the monitoring, evaluation and learning of our work.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and collaborating closely with the Board of Trustees, you will lead a small, skilled team focused on fundraising, marketing, and communications. You will drive the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy, ensuring that all fundraising and marketing activities support the charity’s mission and strategic goals. This role is key in shaping the charity’s public image and expanding its supporter base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a multi-channel fundraising and marketing strategy to secure sustainable income and meet ambitious targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Fundraising & Communications team to achieve their professional goals and exceed income generation objectives.
- Income Generation: Drive income from major donors, corporate partnerships, individual giving, legacies, and community fundraising.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
- Marketing & Communications: Shape and oversee all marketing materials, digital content, and public relations to effectively communicate our mission and grow brand awareness.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, and oversee the use of CRM systems to enhance donor engagement and data integrity.
What We're Looking For:
You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns across multiple income streams. You have experience managing high-performing teams, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will have a passion for animal welfare or be able to demonstrate empathy for the charity’s cause.

The National Youth Agency is looking for an experienced Local Policy & Partnerships Manager

Contract: 1-Year Fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week – flexible working. Part-time applications (minimum of 30-hours per week will be considered)
Salary: £36,000 - 41,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
Location: Remote working with some travel to meetings and events required.

We are looking for a Local Policy and Partnerships Manager to drive local engagement and policy activity, ensuring that youth work is at the heart of decision-making at every level.
As Local Policy and Partnerships Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across NYA and key external stakeholders to lead local policy activity and stakeholder engagement. This includes aligning local initiatives with national influencing strategies, showcasing best practices, and ensuring youth work shapes policy at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Local Policy & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive local policy initiatives, build relationships with decision-makers, and support national youth work advocacy.
- Knowledge & Insights: Collaborate with the Knowledge Team to maintain and develop the Local Data Dashboard.
- Policy Monitoring: Track local political developments, identify advocacy opportunities, and align strategies with organisational goals.
- Written Outputs: Create policy materials such as briefings, reports, blogs, and consultation responses.
- Event Organisation: Plan and deliver impactful events, including local policy seminars and national conferences, to engage stakeholders and promote youth work policy.
