The role
SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is a dynamic Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners based in South Bucks and the surrounding areas to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents/caregivers across all our services. Subcontracted sessional practitioners are contracted on a freelance basis to provide one-to-one support to young people and their parents. There are also opportunities to co-facilitate group work. Sessions may be delivered remotely or face to face, dependent upon the needs of clients. Freelancers are home-based practitioners who travel to meet young people and /or parents face-to-face (within a 25-mile radius), provide remote support online, or a combination of both.
SAFE! Subcontracted Sessional Practitioners
Locations: Buckinghamshire, we are particularly keen to recruit freelancers based in Wycombe and South Bucks areas.
Payment: Practitioners submit invoices monthly and are paid at a rate of £25 per hour for admin and delivery and £10 per hour for travel time. They are liable for all tax and expenses.

As RIVET’s inaugural Director of Donor Engagement, you will help build and then lead the stewardship implementation for our 70+ major donors who serve on our Leadership Council, Youth Impact Council, and Youth Impact Fund, providing them with a meaningful experience that reflects our shared values and desired impact. RIVET’s operating budget is $2.5M, with most of that currently coming from philanthropic support. Our four-year sustainable business model strategy reflects an increasing reliance on brand revenue. HOPE not hate is the UK’s leading anti-fascist organisation. Our mission is simple: To monitor and challenge the far right, to engage in the communities that are susceptible to them and to address the issues and policies which give rise to them.
The 2024 summer riots laid clear the susceptibility within communities for far-right narratives. Locally, many stakeholders are struggling with providing alternatives that combat this framing.
As part of our wider community resilience work, we will be hosting a series of community events across the country, with the aim of celebrating local identity, strengthening social connection and boosting resilience to far-right agitation. We have a history of planning these events in the communities that need them the most, for example in Bradford.
About the role
The Events Administrators (X2) will be assisting our Community Outreach Officer to deliver community events across the country in our target areas, at the end of May/beginning of June. This includes 4 confirmed events in Southport, Sunderland, Wigan and Port Talbot, with the potential for lighter-touch facilitation to support volunteer-run events in up to 5 more areas.
This role will involve frequent travel to our target areas to meet with local partners. Willingness to work with a variety of stakeholders is important. The role will include liaising with local authorities, national and local organisations and grassroots community activists to deliver the events. An understanding that communities and community groups are the experts on their own needs is crucial – solutions should be developed with, not for, those most impacted.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Community Outreach Officer to develop and deliver from start to finish a number of community events in target areas across the country.
- Help to identify and maintain strong working relationships with event contributors, ensuring a diverse range of local stakeholders are involved in organisation.
- Ensure all event logistics are handled professionally, on time, and within budget, including contributions from external partners and local community stakeholders.

The Worker Support Centre (WSC) is a Scotland based charity that promotes decent work and prevents exploitation. We support marginalised and isolated workers in labour sectors where there is a high risk of abuse and exploitation. We work in partnership with workers to build power to secure and advance workplace rights. We prevent human trafficking for forced labour by acting to reduce the risks of worker exploitation. WSC values include: respect for human rights, representation, transparency, equality and innovation.
WSC support includes advice, mediation, advocacy and assisted reporting to enforcement agencies. Our worker engagement informs policy change activity to address harms faced by those in high-risk work. In 2023 and 2024 WSC activities were targeted at workers in seasonal agriculture on the UK Seasonal Worker visa (SWV). During this time, we provided advice, support, and information to 1031 people in relation to the SWV.
About the role
This role is focussed on advancing seasonal agricultural workers’ rights by supporting WSC’s peer engagement work including actively conducting outreach to workers and facilitating worker education and power sessions. In this role you will support WSC meet two of its four core objectives to work together with workers to claim spaces for power and representation in decision making; and to build the field of knowledge about workers and their experiences to influence policy. This role will work closely together with our Peer Engagement team and Outreach Caseworkers.
WSC strives to achieve representation of individuals with lived experience of the issues on which we work at all levels of our organisation and actively promote applications from individuals with experience of the issues on which we work. For this role we would especially welcome applications from individuals with experience of working in seasonal agriculture.

Job Description
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) created the Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) to help cultural organisations and heritage sites during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Fund included a £254 million loans programme for arts, culture and heritage organisations. Arts Council acts as loan agent for the borrowers in the programme portfolio.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Arts Council's management of the CRF loans portfolio. You will be the principal contact with DCMS and will be required to meet with them regularly to report on a range of CRF loans portfolio issues and activities including formal portfolio reviews, loan re-profile recommendations, commissioning of external legal and financial advice, loans management process and systems.
The CRF Loans Director will have direct line management responsibility for the CRF loans team and your duties will include:
- Overseeing effective loans monitoring processes to identify where borrowers' business performance indicates a risk to loan repayment
- Reporting to DCMS on the performance of the loans' portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Making recommendations on appropriate action to take on defaulting or at-risk loans.
- Ensuring performance management, risk and internal controls are in place and used effectively.
The Successful Applicant
The successful CRF Loans Director will hold an ACA/CCAB/CIMA qualification (or equivalent) with experience of working at a senior level and exposure to working with loan lenders and borrowers.
You will have excellent financial analysis skills and be able to present complex financial information in simple understandable form to decision makers and others.
Ideally you will have a background within an audit and/or social impact organisation and have an understanding of shaping a loans fund.

Disabled people face significant inequalities in education, sport, leisure and employment. They often face multiple barriers to fulfilling their potential and achieving their aspirations. Sport and physical activity have the power to inspire, enable, build self-esteem, and provide success. They can improve physical health, employability, mental well-being and social community inclusion. However, many barriers prevent disabled people from accessing sport. These include a lack of coaching, clubs, transport, equipment and support networks, as well as high costs and negative perceptions of disabled people participating in sport.
We are a fairly new charity established in 2021, with big ambitions for the future. We have started with small but meaningful projects. We are reaching out to disabled people, learning from our projects, and focusing on our vision and purpose.
We are now looking for someone to join our small but mighty team as our Project Officer. This is a new role, and is crucial to the development of the charity over the next few years. You will set up and deliver new projects to enable disabled people to get active and access sporting opportunities. To do this you will develop relationships with partners, funders and the disability community. This role has the potential for growth and development. Main purpose of this role
Our mentoring work provides a person-centred approach, supporting disabled people to access the life-changing power of movement and sport. We train mentors (who are mostly disabled) and match them with disabled people who face multiple barriers and are likely to remain inactive without intervention. They work together to break down these barriers and connect with local sports clubs and initiatives. We delivered our first mentoring programme in Nottingham and are now looking to expand the programme across the East Midlands and other areas in England and Wales. Alongside this we want to expand our already established Supported Runner Programme to enable disabled people to participate in shorter community runs, and to adapt the model to support disabled people into other sports.
We are looking for a proactive, confident and dynamic individual to help us set up and deliver new mentoring and supported sports projects to enable disabled people to get involved in physical activity in their communities. You will join our small creative and supportive team within an empowering, values-led organisation that is person-centred and ambitious to empower disabled people.
We are looking for someone with significant experience of delivering projects at a community level, recruiting and supporting volunteers and project beneficiaries. Purpose of the role
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Lead for Consumers in the Energy System, in delivering research, analysis and global advocacy on the topic of clean energy futures and generally contributing to building our impact under our Consumer Power strategy. The Coordinator will focus on supporting implementation of a variety of new projects, for example:
- Through our “Exploring Energy Consumer Voice in the Clean Energy Transition” project, we are collecting and analysing examples of successful consumer voice campaigns and will showcase action by consumer organizations across multiple countries to drive forward the clean energy transition. This work aims to empower consumer representatives with a strong voice in clean energy transition dialogue.
- In our “Blueprint for Inclusive Energy Services” project, we are working with businesses to explore energy consumer vulnerabilities and develop innovative, tailored services that can assist most vulnerable customers to access and afford the energy they need to support their wellbeing.
This is a varied role that will involve collaborating across Consumers International’s teams and working with external partners to support project management and assist with research, report writing and stakeholder engagement.
