· To lead and support safe, reliable, high-quality family support service across the district and integrate with existing provisions to ensure that services are not duplicated and multiagency working is upheld. To ensure communication is established with other services to establish a culture of mutual trust and respect.
· Prioritise referrals, manage work allocations and ensure effective deployment of the workers to ensure service users receive a timely and effective service.
· Ensure all appropriate staff development and core training requirements are fulfilled in the team and contribute to wider training plans for the locality. Foster a culture of continuous development including best practice sharing across teams and districts, involvement in Community of Practice etc.
- Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, demonstrating an understanding of, and always complying with Family Action’s and Gloucestershire procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Oversight of Spear Programme Spear
Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Line management and training
- Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.
Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
- Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
- Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.

About the role
This senior role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC, particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Policy and Practice Change team. Through systematic and efficient management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability.
The role will oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through oversight and line management of finance, operations and administrative staff. The post holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children's Rights and department heads in the successful running of our services. Where appropriate they will deputise for the Managing Director on financial, operational and compliance matters.
Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for specialist financial functions within CCLC, particularly legal aid billing. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who focus on grant fund management and overall accounting for CCLC.
The role would suit a highly organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, are welcomed. However, we recognise that this is a highly specialised and niche field. As such, candidates with broad operational and financial management experience but a strong aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems will be considered.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel.

About the role
We’re looking for a motivated, communicative, and knowledgeable Public Affairs Officer to join our Policy and Influencing Team, to help us achieve the positive change children and young people with cancer across the UK, and their families, need in the health system. This means amplifying the voices of young cancer patients and delivering evidence-based campaigns that make change happen.
The Public Affairs Officer is responsible for supporting the Policy and Influencing Team with public affairs expertise to deliver the key components of our influencing work in England and UK-Wide (Westminster). You will help us influence the system for children and young people with cancer and their families, so we can change experiences of having cancer and ensure children and young people’s voices are heard.

Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. We are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join our passionate and dedicated fundraising team. Your role will be pivotal in securing vital funds for the hospice by developing and maintaining meaningful, positive relationships with grant-making organisations and individual supporters. You will research and apply to appropriate trusts and foundations while leading the identification of new grant opportunities.
Hours of work: This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the very occasional evening or weekend for Events.
Location of work: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based (an initial hospice-based period is required for onboarding and familiarisation with the team and our mission).
About the role
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· Clearly communicating the charity’s funding needs to potential funders through high-quality funding applications, face-to-face meetings, and other communications.
· Building strong, long-term relationships with funders through regular updates, written feedback, and networking opportunities.
· Conducting in-depth research to identify funding needs, particularly for core income, and collaborating with Rainbows care team leaders on funding requirements.
· Producing high-quality reports for funders to demonstrate the impact of their contributions and nurture ongoing support.

Requirements
· Experience: Proven success in trusts or major gift fundraising.
· Relationship Building: Skilled in developing relationships and securing funds from trusts, foundations, or individual donors.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
· Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.
· Motivation: Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently.

We are recruiting self-employed advocates to provide independent and confidential advocacy on behalf of NYAS to children, young people and adults in a variety of settings such as children’s homes, schools, secure units etc. We are looking for people to service areas in West Berkshire, Wokingham or Slough.
Your role will enable them to ensure their voices are heard within decision-making processes that effect their lives. You will do this by listening to what they want and by informing them of their rights to get their wishes and feeling heard.

The Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Programme is part of this nationally funded programme and aims to train a workforce of new practitioners that offer help for common difficulties in children and young people, in particular CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help for low to moderate intensity anxiety, low mood and behaviour problems, within a variety of community settings.
The course consists of approximately 64 teaching days spread over the year. The programme is delivered through a mix of online and in-person teaching, where campus-based learning will usually take place at the Anna Freud (London).
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates with experience in child and adolescent mental health, alongside experience of providing clinical supervision or facilitating reflective spaces to support clinical skill developments. In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, the Centre is recruiting to support the delivery of the course. The Practice Tutors will be expected to facilitate the delivery of practice tutor groups to enable trainee CWP’s to develop clinical skills in working with children, young people and families. They will also contribute to teaching sessions, and undertake marking, personal tutoring and make other similar contributions to support the delivery of the programme. Location
Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working), the delivery of teaching and Practice Tutor Groups facilitation by the post-holder is almost all face-to-face. For face-to-face work, the post-holders will be required to attend in person at our London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
