As part of the Mindworks partnership, The Eikon Charity provides a wide range of emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children & young people. Through this work we have seen how challenging parents and carers can find supporting their children’s emotional wellbeing difficulties. Supported by funding from the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership Innovation Fund, we are delighted to be recruiting to this new role of Family Wellbeing Practitioner, which expands our current Community Wellbeing Team offer. This is a collaboration with YMCA East Surrey working in partnership to ensure consistency of support to parents and carers across Surrey. This role will be supporting parent/carers within Elmbridge and Runnymede.
Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively and effectively with statutory and voluntary agencies, to identify parents/carers in need of support and to agree effective referral processes.
- To create, develop and deliver one-to-one interventions, workshops and presentations for small parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics.
- To set up and facilitate peer-to-peer support and discussion groups.
- To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further support for parents and families
- To work in partnership with YMCA East Surrey who will provide support to parents/carers across Tandridge, Reigate and Banstead
- To promote the service within The Eikon Charity and with statutory and voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations at networking events and production of promotional material.
- To help assess the needs and strengths of the parents/carers referred into the service and help them identify short-term goals to achieve desired change.
- Record and review parent/carer goals using the Goal-Based Outcomes tool and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- To involve parents/carers in the co-design of group work and ensure that the service responds to user voice and meets the needs identified.
- Record and collect data with various tools and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- To take responsibility for own caseload of parents/carers, some with complex and multiple needs
- To work collaboratively with other Eikon delivery teams in delivering interventions for children, young people and families.
- To keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with parents/carers
- To provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
- To provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions
- To assist with the development and progression of the service by adhering to all communication requests and assisting with peer progression development when requested through case supervision

Your role will be to support service users to develop strategies to manage emotions and deliver skills training to foster self-confidence by knowing how to access appropriate support. You will also support service users to increase capacity to undertake activities to support daily living and advocate for service users in conjunction with multi-agency partners to engage with treatment and other professionals/services (MH teams/support groups) Your role will support our team in achieving our Justice Business Plan objectives: innovate, revitalise and reform the delivery of Justice Services.
This role will involve working in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector and other Criminal Justice organisations to promote and deliver our services and achieve the required outputs and outcomes.

Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind deliver services in West London College through our Wellbeing Team. Working with all ages attending college in either Hammersmith and Fulham or Ealing, the wellbeing advisor will be an integral part of the Children and Young People’s Service within a key Mental Health Charity working in 3 boroughs in West London.
This role would suit an experienced Mental Health Youth Worker, CAMHS support worker, Youth Counsellor, Child Wellbeing Practitioner, Learning Mentor, Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner, an Assistant Psychologist with some training in MH interventions like CBT, or other roles that have given you experience and skills in working with children and young people presenting with difficulties related to their mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide practical mental health focused short-term case work to young people, through 1:1 face to face appointments
- To signpost students for further support as and when necessary
- To manage a busy case load
- To raise safeguarding alerts and work with partners to ensure that young people are effectively safeguarded
- To develop and deliver workshops, campaigns and training for young people, educational staff and youth workers about mental health (on occasion)
- To support other Youth Services service delivery, when required
- To support the development of new tools, materials and services
- To maintain and nurture a positive working relationship with partners
- To ensure service delivery targets are on track
- To monitor the wellbeing of young people and evaluate the effectiveness of the service

You will have:

About the role
Fareham and Gosport Wellbeing service is looking to recruit a PCN Wellbeing Advisor. You will be based in the Wellbeing Centre in Gosport and occasional work base from Costal PCN surgeries. You will work solely with patients living in the Coastal PCN area, this role may on occasion include group facilitation in the Coastal PCN area’s.
In this role you will hold a caseload of patients offering assessments and 1 to 1 telephone or online sessions to help manage mental health wellbeing. You will attend meetings to enable patients to get the best service for them. You will support people to access groups and activities within our wellbeing centre and the community.
Hours: Part-time,15 hours per week (worked over a minimum of 4 days, time to be agreed).
Location: Eastleigh Wellbeing Centre (occasionally Winchester).
About you
You will need to have a good understanding of a mental health issue, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges people face on their recovery journey. You will need good IT skills and be able to navigate different IT systems.

The Role
The successful candidate will support the Head of Therapeutic Wellbeing and hold specific identified managerial responsibilities within the services delivered by TLC’s Therapeutic Wellbeing department.

About the role:
You'll work closely with the Wellbeing Manager and in conjunction with other professionals as required, to assist in the development and delivery of a quality social and wellbeing activity programme for individuals or groups, primarily for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities. This includes:
- Manage a team of staff to deliver the social and wellbeing activity provision on a day-to-day basis, which also include supervisions, team meetings and 1:1's.
- Oversee the provision of social and wellbeing activities at Ravenswood, which includes the regular social and wellbeing activity programme, one off events, home setting sessions and community integration.
- Monitor and review the progress of social and wellbeing sessions for groups and individuals including reporting, recording KPI’s, audits and other administration responsibilities.
- Actively promote Ravenswood social and wellbeing provisions to the wider community and generate income through bookings from external groups or individuals.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring that all people we support and staff adhere to the safety guidelines in place.
- Implement all policies required for the social and wellbeing provision including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Manual Handling, Equal Opportunities and COSHH.
- Maintain risk assessments for all sports and activity sessions on site.
- Undertake necessary training for accreditation of skills and qualifications.
Essential:
- Experience working with adults who have a learning disability in a health or social care setting
- Delivery of social and wellbeing activity programmes
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills - grade C or above in GSCE English and Maths or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, social and communication skills
- Positive attitude towards disability and the benefits of physical activity
- Able to work co-operatively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team

The Museums Association is seeking a part-time (18 hours per week spread over 3 or 4 days Monday to Thursday) Health and Wellbeing in Museums Project Officer to deliver the Health and Wellbeing in Museums Fund, supported by the Julia Rausing Trust, for 24 months.
The fund is a grants programme supporting UK museums to develop and continue sector-leading health and wellbeing work through a time of financial crisis and to embed excellent practice.
The project officer is at the centre of this programme as advisor and facilitator for museum applicants and grantees; lead for comms and learning dissemination in the UK museum sector; and link to external evaluators to understand and enhance the impact of this programme.
The project officer will report to the grants manager and work closely with her on programme development. While the role is fixed term for two years, there is potential to continue working on monitoring and evaluation at a reduced level at the end of this period.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the museums sector and be a great listener and communicator. You’ll be excited by the prospect of championing best practice in health and wellbeing in museums. You’ll have a good attention to detail and be able to summarise large quantities of information into key messages.

YMCA DownsLink Group are recruiting a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to work within our innovative Brighton & Hove Wellbeing Children and Young People's (CYP) service.
Our CYP service provides primary care mental health treatment for young people aged 2-25 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties. We offer a range of short-term interventions tailored to people's presenting needs and age. These include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling, low intensity psychological interventions, group treatments, creative therapies and social prescribing.
Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service is a service collaboration which is responsible for delivering Primary Care Mental Health Services in Brighton and Hove. Led by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and in partnership with YMCA DownsLink, the service provides a community-based range of evidence-based therapeutic and clinical interventions to support people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
As a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be working with Brighton & Hove Wellbeing Service, working with the Children and Young People's (CYP) team in the delivery of recovery-oriented care. This will include triage, assessment, and individual treatment sessions, delivered in-person. Providing specific evidence based psychosocial interventions within the scope of qualification. You will put clients and service users’ needs at the heart of the job, keeping young people safe, providing a compassionate response to alleviate suffering and encourage wellbeing.
You will be delivering individual assessments and CBT-informed Children’s Wellbeing Support for children and young people. You will be working as an individual alongside other therapists and counsellors in the delivery of interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people living in Brighton & Hove. You will support us in forming close working relationships with staff from our partner agencies, as this is essential for providing an effective service. In addition, you will also develop and work closely with colleagues in other local services supporting children and young people, including the city's CAMHS service(s) and the Schools Mental Health Service.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering Child Wellbeing Practice according to indicated, evidence based national guidelines.
- Liaising with children and young people, their parents, families and carers where appropriate
- Assess mental health difficulties and triaging referrals
- Working with additional supporting professionals to ensure effective and practical support for children and their families/carers.
- Engage calmly and with sensitivity and empathy to support children, young people and families in highly distressing or emotional circumstances

About the role
Fareham and Gosport Wellbeing service is looking to recruit a PCN Wellbeing Advisor. You will be based in the Wellbeing Centre in Gosport and occasional work base from Costal PCN surgeries. You will work solely with patients living in the Coastal PCN area, this role may on occasion include group facilitation in the Coastal PCN area’s.
In this role you will hold a caseload of patients offering assessments and 1 to 1 telephone or online sessions to help manage mental health wellbeing. You will attend meetings to enable patients to get the best service for them. You will support people to access groups and activities within our wellbeing centre and the community.

We are seeking a Project Development Leader for a new project partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of wellbeing initiatives and interventions to support church leaders with their personal wellbeing. This post is initially funded for 1 year, with funding being sourced for extension of this post beyond that.
The Project Development leader will lead the project from development to implementation with the intention that the programme will launch in January 2026.
Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience. You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions. You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.
