This role is part of the Wiltshire Project which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse for victims and their children.

Working with children and young people, the team will focus on delivering timely and high quality, trauma informed support to children who have been the victims of domestic abuse.

This is a fixed term position to November 2025.

This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.

In addition, there will be the opportunity to work with the team and manager to develop and deliver new group work provision for young people.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

· To provide high quality, specialist support to children who have lived in a domestically abusive family.

· Enabling young people to access statutory and other services where appropriate.

· Managing a caseload and working proactively to support young people and their families.

· To deliver educational, time-bound, 1 to 1 support sessions for children and young people.

· Provide specialist support to child victims, with a focus on empowering young people to make informed decisions.

· Ensure that children and young people have a thorough understanding of what constitutes a ‘healthy relationship’.

· Undertake risk assessments and implement robust safety management plans.

· Give practical and emotional support to children affected by domestic abuse.

· Work closely with multi-agency partners and the wider Wiltshire team to ensure that we maintain a focus on risk management and safeguarding.

· Work with your team and manager to develop early intervention resources.

· Engaging with and supporting the MARAC and MASH process, to ensure that the voice of victims is heard.

This role will be based in our Trowbridge office, with a requirement to travel across Wiltshire. FearFree supports staff to work flexibly, with an ability to work in a hybrid fashion, both at home and in the office.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies.
• Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
• Assess, manage and review risks to service users, colleagues and self, according to agreed procedures.
• Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk.
• Work with colleagues, health and social care professionals and multi-agency networks to evaluate caseload needs and the progress that has been made.
• Work directly and proactively with children and young people to help them to understand the impact that Domestic Abuse has had on them.
• Ensure personal safety and that of service users and other staff at all times.
• Respond to emergencies and crises with a focus on the child’s wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Plan and implement activities to promote self-awareness, confidence and participation for children.
• Provide person centred, trauma informed support to all your cases, to empower the young person to make informed choices.
• Enable service users to participate in the design, delivery and evaluation of services.
• Work effectively in partnership with multiple statutory and voluntary agencies to enhance service delivery, safety and safeguarding.
• Respond to a child’s individual learning needs and style, adapting practice as necessary.
• Work closely with schools and education establishments to ensure support offered to service users is appropriate, planned and coordinated.
• Keeping the child’s voice central to all support and decision making wherever possible: taking the time to talk through and work with the individual child’s understanding around safeguarding and why we need to share certain things.
• Act as duty officer for Wiltshire, responding to incoming calls, logging referrals and making assigned outgoing calls, according to the duty rota. Duty shifts will be 9 – 5 in the Trowbridge Office.
• To understand and work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
• Accompany service users, when needed, to other relevant agencies and support them in their interactions with these agencies.
• To work alongside colleagues to deliver a whole family approach.
• Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.

Groups and Activities

• Work with the Childrens and Families Team Manager to develop and deliver, a group work intervention for young people.
• Assist with recruiting children and young people to be involved in the development of groups or activities, providing them with on-going support.
• Run groups for children and young people following a planned programme.

General

• Work at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Lone Working Policy and Procedure.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings.
• Update written and computerised records with accurate and clear information.
• Contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach, including cover for other team members’ holidays and sickness.

We are seeking a highly organised Children and Young Person’s Specialist Exploitation Caseworker to work in the St Pauls and Moors Estates in Cheltenham.

The postholders will combine their lived experience of overcoming similar barriers to the client group and their professional experience to provide crucial guidance, support, and mentorship to children and young people who are being, or at high risk of being exploited. 

Through 1:1 mentoring, you will ensure children and young people are equipped to think critically, assess risk, and make better life choices. You will also support them to overcome personal challenges and achieve personal goals. The resulting mindset shift and confidence makes them more resilient to the risks of becoming involved with substance misuse and/or supply; gangs; exploitation and violence

What are we looking for?

The Wish Discovery Coordinator role will be responsible for managing and engaging our network of Wish Makers, Wishgranting Office Volunteers and Interpreters, in line with our values and behaviours.  The Wish Discovery Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring we are providing fully inclusive tools and resources to enable Wishgranting-related volunteers to conduct their roles. Key Responsibilities: 

• You will be managing a caseload of up to 200 active volunteer activities across the Wishgranting process at any one time, ensuring Wishgranting volunteers have resources they need to conduct their role.

• Experience managing and supporting a network of volunteers, ensuring agreed targets are met.

• As each wish is unique, yaccurate record keeping, data privacy and safeguarding are essential. 

• You will need to have experience in communicating with various stakeholders and be able to organise and prioritise your workload.

About the Suzy Lamplugh Trust

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was born out of the tragic story of Suzy Lamplugh, a 25-year-old estate agent who went missing whilst at work in 1986, was never found, and was eventually declared deceased in 1993. Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.

What are we looking for?

We offer a safe, non-judgmental space to take part in group activities, chat with others over a cuppa, play a game, read a book, or just sit quietly over some mindful colouring. Our sessions are facilitated by our recovery workers who can also provide information about other services available locally and on ways to support your well-being.

About the Role

This is a varied role which involves leading the continuous development of the service to ensure that it meets the needs of the community, in line with Mind BLMK values, including promotion of the service and building strong links with other local organisations, groups, agencies and the wider community. The role also holds responsibility for referrals into the service and leading on more complex cases to assess suitability along with managing the staff, volunteer and student team delivering the service and for the health, safety and maintenance of the Luton Wellbeing Centre.

Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which supports individuals to deescalate crisis and develop strategies for recovery and increased wellbeing, in line with Mind BLMKs Recovery Model and contract requirements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the delivery of the Luton service plan and in line with local Luton stakeholder initiatives and plans.
• Work closely with the recovery and peer workers to ensure the correct access to service procedure is followed, taking responsibility for more complex referrals and ensuring everybody has a consistent and quality experience and are able to access the correct service for them in an acceptable timescale.
• Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
• Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Recovery and Peer Workers, volunteers and student placements).
• Work with the Operational Services Manager to review, design and implement changes to service delivery and working models, ensuring the service meets the needs of the local community, and identify relevant funding opportunities.
• Hold responsibility for health and safety (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises), data collection, budget & cash handling (and associated record-keeping), in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures and guidance.

The new role of Senior Fundraising Officer offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to join our successful Development Team and play a key role in helping us grow the reach and impact of our coaching programmes for young people.

This is a critical senior role in the organisation, reporting to the CEO. The role is responsible for managing the organisation’s programmes across 3 locations in Sub Saharan Africa and South East Asia, managing 10 personnel.
