We have over 2,000 volunteers that engage with us and refer to these individuals as ‘Contributors’. The Contributor Officer will be our Volunteer Lead and will work alongside the Head of HR on the engagement, management and retention of volunteers across the organisation. What you’ll do:
- Develop and update an appropriate and consistent recruitment and selection process for Contributor positions, ensuring it provides flexibility to cater to the differing level of roles across the organisation.
- Work with the Marketing and Digital team to build and maintain a dedicated Contributor section of the website, designed to engage our key audiences and provide easy access to engaging information and content.
- Monitor application rates for key Contributor positions, developing our approach to ensure that the opportunities reach a wide range of members.
- Actively lead the RCR’s approach to engaging with Contributors.
- Conduct regular business partnering meetings with RCR staff who have management responsibility for key Contributors, advising on how to manage, support and engage the group.
- Actively input into the development of the RCR’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other relevant systems to ensure there is a single point of truth for all Contributor related data and that important information is recorded in an easy to access way.

Duties and key responsibilities
1. Trusts and Foundations
- Act as the main point of contact for trusts and foundations supporting gifts under £10,000, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support, materials, and updates to foster successful grant applications and long-term relationships.
- Identify and research new trusts and foundations whose funding priorities align with Sarcoma UK’s mission.
- Plan and coordinate the schedule of grant applications aligning with internal priorities and submission deadlines.
- Draft compelling grant applications, ensuring high-quality submissions, and coordinate the process of application tracking and reporting.
- Maintain the existing pipeline of trust fundraising activities in Raiser's Edge, monitoring progress and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy.
- Work with the Research, Policy, and Support Services teams to arrange meetings between trust representatives and Sarcoma UK funded project leads, where appropriate.

2. Fundraising Support
Merchandise
- Manage stock by overseeing merchandise stock levels, liaising with suppliers, processing orders, and ensuring smooth fulfilment of orders.
- Manage Sarcoma UK’s online shop, ensuring it is regularly updated with accurate product listings and that orders are processed efficiently, meeting supporter expectations.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support across all fundraising activities and projects as needed by the organisation.
- Produce regular reports on fundraising activities, including data from JustGiving, Enthuse, and GoFundMe, ensuring accurate tracking and evaluation.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the organisation, assisting with general administrative tasks and ensuring processes are followed consistently.
- Monitor, evaluate and analyse fundraising activities, providing insights to inform future strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on Sarcoma UK’s fundraising database (Raiser's Edge).
Supporter Care
- Respond promptly and professionally to fundraising inquiries via post, email, and phone, offering support and guidance to donors and fundraisers.
General Fundraising Support
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to identify new prospects within Sarcoma UK’s supporter community.
- Work with the Communications team to identify and maximise publicity opportunities, raising awareness of Sarcoma UK’s fundraising efforts.
- Provide occasional support for Major Donor fundraising activities as needed.
- Stay up to date with the latest fundraising practices and trends ensuring Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures align with best practices.
3. Other Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sarcoma UK’s existing and potential supporters, including contacts within trusts and foundations.
- The role may require occasional travel to events and meetings across the UK, including some evening or weekend work, for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of Sarcoma UK, taking on additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Main purpose of the role
The post of Customer Support Administrator provides Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) with the opportunity to deliver high quality customer service alongside supporting our Coordinators who administer courses and deal with enquiries. Duties and responsibilities
Communication

- Monitor and allocate enquiries via the RCUK support system, answer enquiries, or allocate/escalate to appropriate individuals within the organisation.

Courses
Please note: the following section will amount to a smaller percentage of this role, but training will be provided so the successful candidate has the ability to be able undertake the below when required.
- Report to the Business Support Manager (BSM) regarding any concerns/issues with communication to Course Centres, Instructors, Candidates and other stakeholders.
- Understand and provide assistance on all courses which include: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Newborn Life Support (NLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS), Focused Echocardiography in Emergency Life Support (FEEL), Generic Instructor Course (GIC), European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS), Advance Resus of Newborn Infant (ARNI).
- Liaise with Course Centres, managing and approving courses in line with current course Regulations.
- Organise course materials and keep accurate records by:
o liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of course materials
o organising the dispatching of course materials to Course Centres
o liaising with Course Centres and the supplier to resolve issues - e.g. lost orders
o liaising with Finance regarding invoicing and payment of accounts
- Provide expert advice and first-line support to Course Centre Administrators, Course Directors, Instructors, Candidates and ALS Regional Representatives regarding aspects of all courses and the RCUK Learning Management System (LMS).
- Alongside the BSM, acknowledge course complaints and request further information and documentation as required, prior to escalation where necessary.
- Provide absence cover within the coordinator team.
- Work with the Clinical Leads (CLs) to assist with keeping the course regulations and course materials under review and ensuring any changes or new guidelines are communicated to our community of practice.

Share Psychotherapy is one of the city’s major mental health charities. Established over fifty years ago, we offer medium- to long-term therapy at nominal fees to people on low incomes. · Manage the Southover Partnership’s compliance with statutory obligations including the SCR, and advise others on the relevant legal, regulatory and ethical requirements

Financial management
· In partnership with the EHT & SLT, create and manage the Southover Partnership’s budget and forecast future years’ budgets ensuring it is balanced, realistic, represents an effective use of funds and enables the EHT to make strategic, long-term decisions
· Submit the budget to the Trustee Board annually, & provide and present financial reports at least termly for the Trustees, providing insightful information to aid short- and longer-term decisions, including the consideration of financial risks
· Monitor the budget all year round, by providing monthly management accounts and reports to the EHT, advising where revisions or changes are needed, annotating all material variances and taking actions to rectify negative variances
· Manage day to day financial operations, including cash flow, invoicing, debt collection, payroll, payments and other transactions
· Ensure spending on petty cash and company cards is within the limits of the finance policy. Oversee the reconciliation of these accounts
· Review all monthly postings as part of the month end process, calculating and posting cut off adjustments e.g. accruals, prepayments and deferred income
· Deal with any customer and supplier account queries that have been escalated by the team
· Authorise supplier BACS payments and ensure all other external payments (e.g. PAYE and pensions) are up to date
· Comply with financial reporting requirements and submit statutory returns to the Charity Commission and Companies House
· Prepare accounts ready for audit, liaising with the auditor to ensure a prompt sign off of the annual accounts
· Oversee the Southover Partnership bank accounts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring money is banked, invoices are paid promptly, money owed is collected, and clear records are kept
· Lead on procurement processes, managing tenders where appropriate, conducting due diligence, benchmarking and evaluating suppliers, negotiating deals and ensuring value for money
· Ensure the effective and efficient operation of staff involved in finance, delegating tasks to finance/administrative staff where appropriate; in particular, bookkeeping tasks, Local Authority contract management and resource ordering, to ensure best value
· Ensure that where applicable, Gift Aid is claimed on all charitable donations
· Maintain a strategic financial plan that will indicate the trends and requirements of the Southover Development Plan and will help formulate future year budgets
· At least annually, review calculations of fees and charges made to local authorities and schools to ensure they are appropriate and financially sound
Fundraising
· Investigate and recommend potential funders and funding streams to EHT and Trustees and follow up as required
Human resources
· Manage the Southover Partnership’s payroll provision with the payroll provider and approve monthly payrolls, ensuring all staff are paid correctly in a timely manner
· Manage day to day administration of the Pension scheme re starters, leavers and ad hoc forms, updating pension provider with monthly payroll contributions
· Ensure that recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary and grievance policies are administered in accordance with employment law
· With the EHT, conduct reviews of the Southover Partnership’s staffing structure to ensure effective deployment of staff and financial efficiency
· Ensure compliance with all relevant aspects of employment law including employment protection, equal pay, minimum wage, Working Time Directive, pensions or discrimination on the grounds of sex, race or disability
· Act as the EHT’s adviser on employment matters, including disciplinary procedures and ensure that the Southover Partnership has appropriate disciplinary and grievance procedures. Liaise with the external HR adviser where appropriate
· Participate in the recruitment of staff and handle related administration. Be responsible for ensuring the recruitment procedures are in line with Partnership policies
· Ensure that all relevant staff have contracts of employment including variations and maternity leave arrangements. Keep the Southover Partnership 's standard contracts & terms and conditions of service up-to-date as new legislation takes effect
· Lead on and monitor the effective use of staff access to support, counselling, Occupational Health and Education Support services both internally and externally in accordance with the Partnership policies and procedures
· Work with members of the Partnership Leadership Team to ensure that staff development needs are identified and that appropriate programmes are designed to meet such needs
Health and safety and facility & property management
· With the EHT, supervise the maintenance of the Southover Partnership’s sites
· Supervise the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to ensure Southover Partnership’s compliance with health and safety regulations, and put in place processes and procedures to ensure the safety of all in the Southover Partnership
· Manage the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to:
· Ensure a safe, properly maintained and secure environment on all sites for the stakeholders of the Southover Partnership in which safe and effective learning can be provided
· Ensure the supervision of relevant planning and construction processes is undertaken in line with contractual obligations
· Ensure the continuing availability of utilities, site services and equipment
· Monitor, assess and review contractual obligations for outsourced services
· Ensure ancillary services e.g., cleaning, etc., are monitored and managed effectively
Office administration, IT & management information systems
· Keep records in accordance with the Southover Partnership’s record retention schedule and data protection law, ensuring information security and confidentiality at all times

· Attend and support the Finance and Governance sub-committee and full Trustee Board meetings & ensure that the administrative support for school governance is carried out to a high standard

· Direct the work of the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to ensure the management of IT and management information at the Southover Partnership is efficient and up to date.

About the role
The Philanthropy Account Manager sits within the Philanthropy Team and will work with supporters who are giving at the five and six-figure level. They can be individuals, couples or small family trusts and often support many different areas of our work, both financially and non-financially. The Philanthropy Manager role is varied, and alongside managing a portfolio of warm donors and prospects and securing five and six-figure gifts, there will be opportunities to lead on fundraising campaigns, events and other key projects. Other parts of the role include actively seeking new business working with our prospect researcher, building relationships to support and facilitate peer-to-peer giving, and finding new and creative ways to engage both new and existing donors in Crisis’ work. Creating compelling proposals, cases for support, reports and other bespoke communications will also be required. The successful candidate will manage, coach, and inspire the Philanthropy Administrator, and support them with their workload.

About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager with a background in managing and developing websites and digital products, as well as previous experience of line management, to join our friendly and expert Digital Team.
As the Digital Experience Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, accessible and customer-focused online brand presence by optimising content, journeys and audience experience on our website and other digital platforms. By collaborating with specialists internally and externally across UX, UI, development, SEO, content strategy and content management, you will ensure that the overall digital experience meets brand goals and audience needs by being holistic and engaging and inspiring action.
You will line manage the Developer and Digital Product Officer, providing engaging and motivating leadership, management and personal development support.
You will champion the voices of children and young people with cancer, and their families in everything you do.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Lead on the digital experience strategy for the organisation. Using insight to design, implement, test, measure and optimise as needed.
- Product Ownership of the website experience and content strategy for the site, liaising with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Provide expertise around digital journeys, to continually optimise and improve these, across service delivery and fundraising activities.
- Own the overall roadmap for development on the website and work across teams to support the integration and adoption of third-party digital platforms. Prioritise functionality improvement across the team.
- Establish reporting dashboards and models to use website performance, user insight and other digital and campaign metrics to optimise and develop content and journeys, and to monitor the success of new improvements. P
- Develop our approach to user and audience insight and testing to inform improvements and decision making, use data and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead on SEO, ensure our website content follows SEO best practice, and work on strategies to improve our position in search engine results pages.
- Accessibility – ensure that our website meets accessibility standards both from a functional perspective and content design.
- Collaborate with teams across the charity on digital experience initiatives that align with overall business goals: manage the optimisation of our digital platforms and design customer-centric strategies that improve user experience, increase satisfaction and loyalty.
- Take an active role in developing and embedding new ways of working, establishing relationships with other teams and work alongside the Head of Digital to raise the profile and understanding of the team across the charity.
What do I need?
The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of website management, including managing agency relationships.
- An understanding of end-to-end customer journeys and delivering excellent and engaging user experiences.
- Working with content management systems and optimising content for SEO.
- Using GA4, monitoring and reporting on trends and interpreting data for action.
- Experience of project managing website development, including scoping, briefing, testing and deployment.
- Involving people with lived experience through co-creation, co-production and evaluation.
- Experience of line managing people and an ability to motivate a team.
- A confident collaborator, able to influence, negotiate and build positive working relationships.
- A good understanding of accessibility standards for technical development and content design.
- Financially astute, contribute to setting budgets and overseeing spend.

Job description
We’re recruiting for a new Fundraising Manager to build on the growth and development we’ve experienced in recent years, and move us to the next level. You will work closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation to
raise crucial funding, public support and awareness to underpin our organisationalstrategy. You will also develop and manage relationships with supporters and funders, as well as strategic partners and external suppliers as required.
Key tasks
● Management and development of all streams of fundraising
● Line management of 1x Fundraising Officer and 1x Grants Lead
● Management/liaison/briefing for external suppliers/freelancers/volunteers related to fundraising
● Uphold brand across fundraising
● Build and manage relationships, partnerships and connections to support Ella’s’ fundraising
● Lead on fundraising and related strategies and policies, and input into organisational strategies and policies
● Attend senior management meetings (weekly online), team check ins (weekly in-person) and other internal and external meetings online and in-person as required
● Monitor and report on targets
