Magpas Air Ambulance are looking for a driven and organised Challenges and Events Officer to join our Corporate, Community and Events Team. This is a key income-generating role, responsible for the planning, promotion, and delivery of a portfolio of challenge and fundraising events – including third-party, virtual and flagship events.

The postholder will work closely with colleagues and external partners to deliver exceptional supporter experiences that inspire participation, encourage fundraising, and maximise income for the charity.

You’ll need solid project management skills, strong supporter stewardship instincts, and a good understanding of how digital channels can be used to recruit, engage, and motivate fundraisers.

While you’ll be supported by our Digital Fundraising Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan – combining digital campaigns with in-person promotion and outreach at events and through partner networks.

This role would suit someone with some experience working on charity challenge events who is ready to take the next step in their career – bringing their knowledge, creativity and energy to a role where they can work with autonomy, ownership and impact.

Role Summary:

• Lead the planning, promotion and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising challenge events, including third-party, virtual and flagship activities
• Create and deliver inspiring supporter journeys that encourage participation, increase fundraising and build long-term engagement
• Develop digital-led recruitment and marketing plans, working closely with our Digital Fundraising Officer and wider communications team
• Deliver excellent project and event management, from logistics and risk management to supplier liaison and on-the-day delivery
• Use data and insight to monitor event performance, optimise campaigns and grow income year on year

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in organising or supporting fundraising or challenge events
• A track record of achieving income targets and maximising fundraising potential
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging supporters and stakeholders
• An understanding of digital marketing tools and a willingness to contribute to digital content and campaigns
• Experience using CRM systems (ideally Donorfy) and using data to inform decisionmaking
• A proactive, positive and flexible approach – including willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

About the role

We’re looking to recruit an economist to join our Policy Solutions Team, to lead our new flagship project: “Future Fit for a Just Transition”, a central part of our partnership funded with KPMG.  Driving forward a just transition to a net zero, nature positive economy and financial system is a key priority in our strategy, and this programme will play a central role in the delivery of our objectives in this area.  It will focus on international implementation of the transition, identifying best practices and challenges faced in different countries to facilitate shared learning, promote healthy competition, identify collaborative solutions, and hence speed up implementation. 

You will be responsible for leading the methodological development and delivery of the technical work underpinning the programme, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This will include scoping out and developing economic metrics of national level progress on the just transition to a net zero, nature positive economy, developing compelling and impactful knowledge products and undertaking international engagement on the findings.

You will lead research, compile data, produce reports, documents and briefings as well as commission and manage consultants as needed. You will both develop the content  and deliver the Flagship report, and use it to make the case for action and implementation to key stakeholders on proposed policy changes. You will also build links and strategic relationships with other organisations and other parts of the WWF global Network to promote and disseminate the work. Important will be the ability to create and provide diverse, relevant and impactful ideas for policy, and to involve communities affected by climate and nature loss in the process of policy development.

We’re looking for someone with:

· An understanding of how policy is influenced, both inside and outside Government.

· Experience of influencing key stakeholders including in government and the business community, changing opinions, practices and creating new models to deliver policy change and business transition.

· A degree level qualification in economics or relevant work experience in economic policy and analysis.

· Experienced researcher and commissioner of research, with experience of using economic analysis and quantitative methodologies, demonstrated by using evidence to analyse problems and come up with solutions.

· Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

 Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is the dedicated NHS hospital charity for Cambridge University Hospitals, also fondly known locally as Addenbrooke’s. The Charity works to fund projects and facilities that are beyond the boundaries of the NHS to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes in patient experience, clinical care, research and education - helping to find potential cures and save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.

Addenbrooke’s has embarked on a bold journey of transformation. As part of this, two brand-new hospitals will be built: the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital. These two specialist hospitals are being designed with patients at their heart and will combine first-class clinical expertise with world-class biomedical research to transform care for cancer patients and children regionally, nationally and internationally.  

To make this vision a reality, ACT has embarked upon two ambitious multi-year, multi-million pound philanthropic campaigns to support the development of these two new hospitals. It is rare to have one project with an ambition of this kind, and so for two to be built at the same time, no stone must be left unturned and the Charity are looking for two ambitious new fundraisers who shares a passion for their cause, one with a focus on individual philanthropists and the other with a focus on strategic partnerships.

The role of Senior Philanthropy Lead is a critical one for the Charity, driving income from individuals with the capacity to give at the six and seven figure level. Reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy and managing two Philanthropy Leads, the postholder will take over a multi-million pound pipeline, whilst also driving new business. This role is fixed-term for two years.

The role of Senior Trusts & Strategic Partnerships Lead is a brand-new, permanent position and an essential one in helping to seek and grow significant philanthropic partnerships for the Charity. Reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy and managing a Trusts Lead, the postholder will refine and implement the fundraising strategy and develop a priority prospect list of trusts and grants.

In both cases, candidates will be a motivated and experienced fundraising professionals who can hit the ground running and lead by example. They will possess a track record in achieving complex major gifts, excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative and creative approach and the ability to inspire stakeholders at all levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Power Apps Studio, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Power BI to automate processes and improve data insights
• Working closely with teachers, school leaders, head office staff, consultants and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet their needs
• Integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems used by the Harris Federation, ensuring security, seamless data flow and functionality.
• Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the developed solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing updates as required
• Creating technical documentation and providing training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the developed solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve existing solutions

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• A good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy
• Operational experience of developing AI tools and processes, ideally within a large education environment or similarly large organisation
• Familiarity with educational data, recognising the sensitivities of this data as well as understanding what quality and accurate data means for educational institutions
• Awareness of potential impacts if data is inaccurate, particularly in educational settings
• Confidence with the management of educational data across a complex organisation
• Familiarity with operating within an integrated/complex educational data system
• Experience of reporting and analysis of educational workforce data
• Understanding of relevant employment legislation, the Data Protection Act, Information Governance issues, GDPR and the principles of equality and diversity, especially as they pertain to educational environments
• Knowledge of the rules, guidance, and laws governing the secure handling of personally identifiable data within educational institutions

 We are looking for an enthusiatic and confident Student Support Officer to work within our student, education and trade union teams at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Based within our Practice and Development Directorate, this is an exciting new role for someone interested in supporting physiotherapy learners through their studies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with physiotherapy students to provide advice, support and guidance to those facing discrimination or bullying behaviour.

The role requires you to develop and sustain valuable relationships with the CSP’s network of student representatives and higher education institutions (HEIs) to support students seeking assistance. You will work closely with CSP staff, local CSP representatives and external stakeholders to understand the issues and needs of students, offering integrated support and advice.  You will be comfortable in communicating key messages, developing guidance and supporting promotional events to increase student engagement and recruitment. You will develop processes to capture data and evaluate the impact of this new role.

To succeed in the role, you will have experience in providing advice on discriminatory or bullying practices, have excellent communication skills, have an ability to make judgements, decisions and problem-solve in difficult situations and have knowledge and a strong understanding of equity, diversity and belonging principles.
