The role

We have a vacancy for a Regional Administrator working 17.5 hours per week (3 days per week including Wednesday & Friday). You would be joining a dedicated and friendly team of regional staff and volunteers. The ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player is essential.

It is an exciting time to be joining Cruse, as we are in the process of improving our processes and services to strengthen the support that we offer to bereaved people and our volunteers. The post holder will coordinate and assist with the delivery of all aspects of service contracts in the Lambeth Borough of London, supporting the Regional Manager and the wider team. The role is mainly home working with occasional meeting attendance and service delivery within Lambeth. Networking and engaging with local groups / communities will form an essential element to the role, as well as providing initial contact and support to residents in the Lambeth area.

You will be the first point of contact within the service for bereaved people, third parties and external organisations. Additionally, you will support volunteers in the delivery of services and support the overall day-to-day running of the Lambeth service.

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*.  Key to the project is management of the assets, funded by the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) through their Cultural Assets Fund (CAF).

As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. Alongside the Conservation Projects Manager for Chapels you will deliver the maintenance programme, including regulatory and legal compliance, as well as deal with utilities and insurance of chapels. 10 of the chapels are in our North region, 6 in our West region and 4 are in our South East region.

You will have previous experience in the field of historic buildings maintenance, repair or property management. You will be an effective communicator, be able to plan and deliver your own workload and also work as part of a team. As you’ll be working at chapels throughout England it is essential you have a full driving licence.

Over the past few years, Families in Grief (FiG) has grown significantly to meet the needs of our North Devon and Torridge community. We have just completed a piece of work to expand our reach, enhance our accessibility to healthcare professionals and schools, and broaden our range of services to better support children, young people and families who have been bereaved. We are now looking for an experienced leader with a passion for making a difference to continue this work.

• To provide a credible and high-quality bereavement support service to all grieving families children, young people and families in need of our help.

CVS Brent is looking to recruit its next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations in the borough of Brent.

The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in leading CVS Brent through a pivotal transition period with a focus on stabilising the organisation and laying the groundwork for meaningful organisational change. The Diocese is seeking a Church Building Support Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract, to work closely with parishes to help secure sustainable futures for some of our most historic and cherished church buildings. You'll help PCCs to identify and explore complimentary non-worship uses for their buildings, helping them to become vibrant and viable centres of mission and community life. You’ll support them in ensuring the church buildings are fit for the future, fostering greater community engagement, and developing long-term sustainability strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a developing church buildings strategy, shaping the future approach to church building support within the Diocese. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders to bring these strategies to life, ensuring that churches remain places of worship, community activity, and cultural significance.

This is a new fixed-term post funded by the Church Commissioners of the Church of England through their Buildings for Mission funding. The funding is for an initial period of twenty months, ending in September 2026, unless the funding is extended.

The main responsibilities of the Church Building Support Officer are:

• Work with Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) to develop community action plans that align with local needs.

• Support PCCs in identifying mixed-use opportunities for the church building

• Facilitate the building of strong relationships with local groups, charities, and other partners to promote the wider use of church buildings.

• Help PCCs in maintaining and developing their buildings to accommodate wider uses, and ensure they are kept in good condition

• Foster volunteer engagement, helping churches recruit for new roles and groups to aid long-term sustainability.

• Capture and share key lessons from pilot projects to inform future diocesan strategies.

What we are looking for in a Church Building Support Officer:

Are you looking to do things differently? Phew, so are we. As your manager’s title suggests your focus will be on BMS World Mission’s social media channels and suite of supporter and church-facing emails and you will be working within the Communications Team within the Department of Communications and Fundraising.

Both this role and your boss’ role are new creations – we are in the mood to experiment. We know enough to know what we don't know (and we've commissioned a detailed social media and email audit report to tell us the rest) and we dream plenty big enough to know there's so much more we could do. The Wilder Communities Officer will inspire and support community-led action for wildlife in Watford, and empower local people to create more wildlife rich spaces on their doorstep.  Working with colleagues across the Trust, the Officer will help to build a wilder future through local community action for nature.

The role

We have a vacancy for a Regional Administrator working 33 hours per week. You would be joining a dedicated and friendly team of regional staff and volunteers. The ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player is essential.

It is an exciting time to be joining Cruse, as we are in the process of improving our processes and services to strengthen the support that we offer to bereaved people and our volunteers. The post holder will coordinate and assist with the delivery of all aspects of service contracts in Cambridgeshire, supporting the Regional Manager and the wider team. The role is mainly home working with occasional meeting attendance and service delivery within Cambridgeshire. Networking and engaging with local groups / communities will form an essential element to the role, as well as providing initial contact and support to residents in the Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Huntingdonshire area.

You will be the first point of contact within the service for bereaved people, third parties and external organisations. Additionally, you will support volunteers in the delivery of services and support the overall day-to-day running of the Cambridgeshire service.

Using your digital marketing and advertising skills, you will lead on planning, delivering and evaluating marketing campaigns with a focus on digital advertising to recruit supporters and promote our activities. 

As a valued member of our determined, ambitious team, you’ll play an important role in driving forward life-changing research to make life better for people living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)  
 
You will be driven by insights and confident developing and managing digital advertising plans to reach your audiences. You will be supporter-focused, collaborative, confident, friendly professional, able to act as both a critical friend and thought partner, providing constructive challenge and feedback to ensure results are achieved. 

Experience required 

• Delivering integrated marketing campaigns 

• Managing a digital advertising schedule

• Building, monitoring and optimising paid for (PPC) advertising campaigns, across a range of platforms and tools, including Meta Ads Manager

• Producing organic social media marketing content to promote and engage activity 

• Working with creative and media buying agency suppliers 

• Providing support to multiple teams across an organisation 

• Producing campaign evaluations and applying learnings 

• Goal orientated with strong negotiation skills 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write and think creatively 

• Strong budget management, planning and organisational skills
