About us
Who we are
ECPAT UK is a leading children’s rights organisation committed to preventing child trafficking and transnational child abuse. We support young people to uphold their rights and to live a life free from abuse and exploitation.
We seek systemic change to ensure children are protected against trafficking and abuse in the UK and where children are abused by British nationals outside the UK and support children to uphold their rights and to live a life free from abuse and exploitation.
ECPAT’s campaigns are evidenced from our direct work with children and young victims of trafficking in the UK. An on-going programme of policy and research, training and youth participation informs our campaigning efforts. We work with children's rights organisations, anti-trafficking NGOs, child protection agencies, communities and governments to identify strategies to combat child trafficking and exploitation.
