THE ROLE: The Director is responsible for the overall running of Maa Shanti. This includes supporting and managing staff, developing strategy, operational management, contract management, service development, consultancy, partnership working, safeguarding and child protection, HR, recruitment, marketing and social media. The Director will also have oversight of financing and fundraising, with support from the head of Fundraising and the accountants. Some of these activities, such as social media, are delegated to staff members with guidance and direction from the Director. The Director is supported by a committed board of trustees, and communicates and reports to the board regularly.
THE COMPANY: Maa Shanti supports South Asian mothers who are impacted by domestic abuse. Our aim is to reduce isolation, and increase confidence, knowledge and skills for our services users. We do this by improving access to activities, education and employment and through the provision of advocacy and support (both in person and remotely). We run a programme of events, workshops and events which includes e.g. yoga, mindfulness, cooking, vocabulary groups, arts and crafts, excursions and children’s activities during school holidays. The charity was founded in Islington as a grassroots organisation in 2004 and has grown in strength and size in the last 20 years. We currently have 5 members of staff working for the charity.
WHO CAN APPLY: The successful candidate will be creative, committed, organised and have a good understanding of the issues facing our service users. They will have experience in leading an NGO/charity, managing staff and volunteers, fundraising, stakeholder and funder management, service development, charity administration, infrastructure and compliance, working with a board of trustees and working with vulnerable women and children. This role is open to women only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Alumni Networks Executive to join us on a permanent basis in The Development & Alumni Engagement Office.
About the Role
The Alumni Networks Team manage the Regional and Special Interest Groups - the Alumni Networks programme which is run through alumni volunteers throughout the world. The role of Alumni Networks Executive will deliver some aspects of the alumni engagement strategy and takes direct responsibility for managing the existing groups and also enhancing the Alumni Networks programme with strategic groups, including Special Interest Groups. The team act as the primary contact between the University and its alumni networks around the world and is responsible for managing relationships with these groups to further mutually beneficial aims that actively contribute to the University’s strategic goals. The role is a mix of proactive engagement and project delivery across a range of stakeholders, and while also supporting the alumni groups including funding applications, general volunteer management and advising committee members on how best to support the University. The role also line manages the Alumni Networks Coordinator.

· You will have proven experience in stakeholder management, especially volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
- Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics
Relationship management
- Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
- You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre
Church Community
- The Spear Coach is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
- Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within Alive Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating quality communications, you will lead our PR and media work, be skilled in creating engaging video content and add your expertise to developing and delivering our social media, website and stakeholder communications.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will job-share with our established 2 day-per week Marketing & Communications Manager. As a member of LMK’s core staff team, you will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our brand, marketing and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it
- Co-ownership of the execution of all marketing activities and materials, ensuring they reflect the brand and the values of the charity
- Lead the planning and execution of PR and media campaigns, leveraging media contacts, ensuring LMK has engaging media materials and our spokespeople are fully prepared to maximise media opportunities
- Be a brand guardian, responsible for the consistent use of visual identity, tone and messaging in our external materials, working with our graphic designer to support teams across LMK with branding
Communications, Content Development & Execution
- Co-ownership of the execution of all communications and content development
- Lead on the creation of engaging video content that can be used across communications platforms
- Working with the wider team, produce communications materials for supporters and key stakeholders in conjunction with the fundraising team
- Source and write up regular impact stories from across the organisation that reflect our strategic objectives which can be used in a variety of channels
- Be responsible for tracking the impact of marketing & communications, sharing reports with the team and Board of Trustees
Digital
- Grow and expand LMK’s social media presence onto new platforms (e.g. TikTok, SnapChat, Bluesky) whilst expanding existing presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Monitor social channels daily, checking for messages/comments
- Co-manage the website as a key marketing channel, creating engaging content, optimising for SEO, overseeing website design updates, coordinating with developers on technical aspects, and analysing website traffic

- Comply with LMK policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality, complaints and data protection

Person specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of developing messages/content for different audiences effectively and across different platforms including social media, websites, newsletters and emails
- Evidence of success in developing and executing PR strategies, including securing and maximising media opportunities
- Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and project management skills
- Experience of using a social media management tools e.g. Buffer, Asana, Hootsuite and communications tools e.g. Mailchimp

Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
We are seeking an exceptional and organised ACP to join our incredible and dedicated Specialist Palliative care team at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, covering all 5 counties of the East Midlands: Hospice, Hospital and Community. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, contribute to symptom management, lead on end of life care and work closely with families to ensure the best quality of care for the babies, children and young people in our care. You will also support the Head of Palliative Care in managing, leading and introducing new services within the Hospice and manage a team of CNS’s and unregistered professionals
You will be based at the Hospice in Loughborough and be required to travel across the East Midlands covering all 5 counties: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.
Hours of work: This role will be between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm, on a rota covering 7 days a week. There will be a requirement to be on the on-call rota.

About the role
Be responsible for the daily care of Babies, Children & Young People resident in the Hospice and those receiving end of life care within the hospitals and community across the East Midlands.
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- To have lead nursing responsibility for a defined caseload of Babies, Children and Young People with Palliative and end of life care needs within the hospice, hospital and community.
- Be an independent prescriber & support the prescribing/transcribing process
- To professionally support staff within the hospice, hospital and community to ensure that child’s needs are assessed, care planned, implemented and evaluated, and that there is consultation and involvement of child/parents and carers.
- Liaison with staff and services within Hospital both Paediatrics and Neonates to identify and facilitate the transfer plan and subsequent ongoing care needs of Babies, Children & Young People.
- To be a member of the senior nurse team, demonstrating effective leadership skills and taking part in the on call rota.

What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications: Advanced Clinical Practitioner AND/OR MSc, Current registration with NMC/HCPC/GPC, Non-medical prescriber, History taking and clinical examination qualification.
- Experience: Significant Post Registration paediatric palliative care experience, Demonstrative track record working with own paediatric/neonatal client base, managing the assessment, treatment and discharge of patients and the ability to work in partnership with a range of other professionals including health, social care and education.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to effectively engage both verbally and written with team members, nurses, and families in a sensitive and professional manner as well as manage challenging conversations effectively and with compassion.
- Effective organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands within a fast-paced care environment.

Together we are piloting a psychologically-informed, trauma-responsive model with an embedded specialist NHS psychology team. This means you’ll receive high-quality training, 1:1 consultations, and reflective practice to enhance your skills, and to support you and your team to pioneer best practice in homelessness services.
You will be managing a multi-disciplinary team that is dynamic, creative and focused on building trust through relationships. Supporting the team to identify, engage and provide harm minimisation whilst promoting a sense of belonging. Providing rapid interventions for new people who may not need the service, alongside offering sustained support for the people who need it most.
You will have substantial experience in delivering psychologically, gender and culturally informed service to people who are experiencing street homelessness. You will be both strengths-based and solution-focused, maximising and developing partnerships internally and externally to enhance service provision. Role Summary
Coram’s Fields is a unique charity in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. In addition to our iconic 7-acre child-friendly park, we run a variety of services and enrichment programmes to support local young people and their families, including a nursery, an after-school and holiday club, a drop-in centre for parents of under-5s, a vibrant youth centre and a sports programme. We proactively host a wide variety of community events and celebrations, and our facilities are available for private hire to generate income for the charity.
The Operations Officer role is an integral part of the central team with responsibility for procedures, systems that support the effective, efficient, and compliant running of our seven-acre site, services, park events and oversight of income streams. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
General operations, processes and systems
- You will be responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of organisational procedures including IT, GDPR, Health and Safety, Fire Evacuation, incident management.
- You will be responsible for briefing staff across the charity in the use of these procedures and working with the Office and HR Manager to arrange training for staff where necessary.
- You will be responsible for improving existing office systems and identifying opportunities to develop new systems and processes to enable people to work more collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that organisational procedures are documented and accessible on the internal SharePoint.
- You will be responsible for developing and overseeing a new volunteer infrastructure for the charity, working with teams across the organisation to deliver a consistently high-quality volunteer experience for all with standard recruitment, induction, and on-going oversight procedures.
Events and project management
- You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a diverse and inclusive programme of park events, making the park an interesting and vibrant place to visit, encouraging the community to gather and socialise, and generating income to support the work of the charity.
- You will have responsibility for working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure each event is well-planned, managed safely and compliantly with all regulations and laws, and executed successfully within budget.
- You will work with the CEO, COO and Buildings and Facilities Manager to support capital projects, liaising with external stakeholders, contractors and the Local Authority to ensure the effective operation of the site. Commercial Operations
- You will operationally oversee our facility-hire income (halls, sports facilities, and grounds) and be responsible for: – ensuring necessary contracts, waivers, and legal/statutory documents are completed – executing effective marketing and promotions, and creating high quality promotional content for our website and social media – regularly reviewing fees in relation to the hire of our facilities and making recommendations for changes to these – understanding and improving the utilisation of facilities – supporting the COO to develop and grow partnerships with local organisations and schools – improving the efficiency of our booking systems/processes and overall user experience
- You will be responsible for identifying new (temporary and permanent) opportunities and third party partnerships to bring new experiences, enjoyment and enrichment to local young people while also generating income for the charity.
- You will work closely with our Café Manager to grow the profile and income generated by our cafe through improved park signage and park visitor experience initiatives, and integration of the café into the hall and sports hire customer journeys.

Role Summary
The Head of Apprenticeship Operations and Delivery sits at the heart of Ada’s apprenticeship programmes. They are responsible for the operational delivery of Ada’a apprenticeships across all sites, leading a cross-regional team to manage and deliver the compliant systems and processes required for exceptional apprenticeships, and oversee communications and support functions. The role is centred on the apprentices’ and employers’ experience and works closely with Ada’s central operations team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Leadership of apprenticeship operations: Lead on all operational matters, including leading and line managing the delivery and compliance staff. This includes: recruiting and inducting team members; holding 1:1s; setting objectives; setting priorities; reporting on key metrics; and identifying and recommending improvements.
- Systems: Lead on ensuring the systems and processes necessary for degree apprenticeship delivery are in place, collaborating with the central data and impact teams to transition to a new CRM and learner record management system.
- Enrolment and onboarding: Manage the process for the admissions, enrolment and onboarding of apprentices, and work with the Apprenticeship Partnerships team on the onboarding of new employers.
- Delivery logistics: Enable effective delivery of apprenticeship training, working through the team to ensure the smooth running of induction and delivery weeks. This includes liaising with site staff, teaching colleagues and skills coaches, and managing logistics for in person delivery.
- Apprenticeship compliance: Work with the team to ensure that Ada’s programmes are compliant with the latest funding rules, including:
- The collection and storage of necessary documentation during enrolment
- Management of the online Apprenticeship Service
- Establishment and maintenance of compliant templates for training plans and apprenticeship agreements
- Quality Assurance of data collected for submission to the Individualised Learner Record (ILR)
- Monitoring of work output of other apprenticeship teams to ensure compliance E.g in setting training plans and establishing off the job hours.
- Apprenticeship funding: Work in partnership with the Finance Team on the planning and reconciliation of apprenticeship funding
- Apprentice enquiries: Deliver an efficient system to manage apprentice enquiries, allowing them to be dealt with in a timely manner and delivering excellent customer service.
- Communications to apprentices: Oversee cohort wide communication of programme information, ensuring apprentices are equipped with clear and timely details about their courses, including but not limited to apprentice handbooks, delivery dates, venue details and how to access support.
- Data and reporting: Ensure effective apprenticeship data management, and work closely with the Impact and Information team to ensure that all data reporting is integrated into Ada's core online systems wherever possible
- The apprentice experience: Place the apprentices’ experience at the heart of operational delivery, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, and taking into account the needs of Ada’s apprentices at each stage of their journey.
- Health, safety and wellbeing: The Apprenticeship Operations team has a shared responsibility with the other teams within apprenticeships to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of apprentices. You will collaborate with other colleagues, in particular the central college operations team (including site managers), the college safeguarding team (Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and deputy DLSs), and skills coach team, to ensure the highest standards of provision and support, in the areas of: first aid provision, risk assessment, safeguarding of learners, fire safety, and wellbeing support.

AVID exists to reduce the immediate suffering of people detained and work towards a future without detention. As part of a small and agile team, the Senior Network Coordinator is a central role at AVID.
It is a crucial time to join AVID, as we embark on the implementation of an ambitious new strategic period and contend with detention expansion, increased enforcement, immigration deterrence and hostility. We welcome applicants from people who have lived experience of detention or of forced migration. You will be joining our small team of whom more than half have lived experience of detention.
Please note: whilst this role is remote, it is UK-based with some travel required. We have a shared office in Brixton, London which is available for AVID team members to use on a flexible basis. We meet as a team in person once a quarter.
Summary
The Senior Network Coordinator is part of the AVID function (alongside the Senior Member Coordinator & Co-Director for Membership and Operations) to deliver AVID’s capacity building support to AVIDs membership network of visitor groups and drives collaboration.
The Senior Network Coordinator leads on the coordination and cultivation of the network infrastructure support to visitor groupsand network collaboration. The Senior Network Coordinator fosters collaboration between members and strengthens best practice for visiting, utilising AVID’s Members Charter as a central point of reference. As a small network, relationship building is central to this role and the post holder will provide 1:1 guidance alongside a programme of capacity building support based on membership needs. The role includes responsibility for the ongoing development of AVID’s Members Charter; coordinating and delivering AVID’s membership support programme of network calls, trainings, and skill sharing sessions; and the development of resources on the AVID members’ space.
This is a varied role, working directly with our diverse range of members across the UK, with a focus on the more established groups in the AVID network. The Senior Network Coordinator works closely with the Senior Member Coordinator who has a focus on smaller, grassroot groups and new visitor groups in the AVID network and visitor engagement.
Main duties and responsibilities
Relationship building and providing tailored 1:1 support to visitor group coordinators in the AVID network:
- Building relationships with AVID members across the UK with a focus on more-established groups in the AVID network.
- Providing 1:1 support, outreach and mentoring for group coordinators.
- Identifying, developing and collectively shaping good practice standards in visiting throughout the network.
- Responding to members’ queries and maintaining ongoing communication.
- Working with the Senior Member Development Co-ordinator to induct new groups to the AVID network and involve smaller grassroot groups in AVID’s programme of support.
Work alongside visitor groups to build their capacity, resilience and strengthen best practice for visiting in detention through:
- Delivering AVID’s core training modules on immigration detention and visiting to visitors groups, ensuring materials are relevant and up to date.
- Leading on a programme of training (both in-house and external), education and skill-sharing that addresses the needs of members and group coordinators.
- Building sustainable practices and collective care amongst visitor groups which respond to the adverse impacts of working in detention and vicarious trauma.
- Co-ordinating the AVID Annual Coordinators Network Gathering alongside the Senior Member Development Coordinator, jointly overseeing all aspects of administration and coordination of this event.
- Developing, updating and increasing use of AVID resources through oversight and development of AVID’s Members Area and resources/policies/guidance for visitor groups and coordinators as well as supporting the development of AVIDs volunteer visiting handbook.
- Working alongside people with lived experience of detention in the AVID community to facilitate meaningful opportunities for leadership in network activities.
Develop network collaboration, facilitated peer-support and alignment of groups around shared network values, strategies and goals through:
- Co-ordinating and facilitating AVID member calls and skill shares to provide structured peer-support and ensure that information is effectively shared in the AVID network.
- Working with AVID members to establish processes and activities for collaborative development and ongoing revision of the members’ charter.
- Embedding charter values across AVID’s network support and capacity building work with a priority focus on anti-racism & anti-oppression and lived-experience leadership in line with our strategic objectives.
Maintaining and monitoring the activity of the AVID network and identifying emerging areas for development through:
- Developing and improving access to AVID’s membership offer, administering the annual membership renewals and keeping up to date records of AVID members.
- Designing and implementing annual members survey.
