About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Started in 2016, its vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. In 2024 our workforce of over 200 staff and 13,000 volunteers collected and distributed the equivalent of 38 million meals to Londoners in need. This is done through a network of 1,200 community organisations and schools who are working on the frontline to feed people who are experiencing hunger and cannot afford to regularly buy the food they need. The Felix Project works with hundreds of suppliers from across the food industry, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms and restaurants to rescue high quality surplus food, that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste. 

In London, one in for working families regularly struggle to afford to feed their children, equating to an estimated 325,000 families across the capital. The cost of food has increased by 30% in the past three years and one in eight working families have less than £3 a day for food, after paying their bills. About 20% of working families have been forced to access a food support service for the first time during 2024 due to the rising cost of living. 

Our work has never been more needed, and demand continues to grow: we are building our expertise and impact in response. The Felix Project now operates from four main depots in North, South, East, and West London, with ‘point-to-point’ projects in Central London and Canary Wharf. Felix’s Kitchen in our East London depot produces up to 5,000 meals per day from surplus food. Felix’s Multibank in West London distributes non-food items to those who need it most. As part of the charity’s involvement with The Coronation Food Project, we are launching an innovative food processing lab – The Felix Food Factory. 

Purpose of the Job

The Felix Project is looking for a talented individual to help manage and support on implementing their corporate partnerships strategy. This role will sit within our growing Corporate Partnerships Team as part of the wider Fundraising & Marketing Team. The purpose of this role will be to lead on the development of new business in conjunction with the Corporate Partnership Managers, while also building upon our existing pipeline of future opportunities. As a key member of the fundraising team we expect the Senior Officer to actively contribute to the implementation of The Felix Project’s fundraising strategy. 

Your focus will be to ensure income growth from corporate sources and activity based in new business development however there will be some account management responsibilities alongside this. There will be a focus on management of the corporate pipeline and highlighting relevant opportunities to the wider team. As a growing team we have networks and pipelines in place but there will be a requirement for the post holder to innovate and develop new ways of working in-line with the fast-paced operational requirements of the charity.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and recruit new and existing supporters to participate in a range of events including those planned by EAND as well as ‘host your own’ fundraising events.

• Work closely with the CEO and comms team to create engaging fundraising materials and create effective campaigns

• Organise fundraising events to maximise income (quizzes, raffles, etc)

Background

RCJ Advice is a unique Citizens Advice and Law Centre based originally out of the Royal Courts of Justice in central London, providing a number of local and national services. Over the past 45 years we have grown and developed our work as a very different Citizens Advice, and in December 2023 we became an accredited Law Centre, part of the Law Centres Network.

Initially set up to help people with a court case at the Royal Courts of Justice who couldn’t afford legal advice, we have expanded to provide advice and support services to people both locally and across England and Wales.

This new role is to help us sustain our future so we can continue to provide legal support and advice to people in the longer term. The person will work closely with the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees in developing a sustainable approach to fundraising from corporates, in particular firms and other companies working with law firms, and individuals working in law or who support a unique access to justice service like RCJ Advice.

About the position

This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of HSI/UKs Individual Giving programme. You will be making an impact for animals by supporting projects across multiple communication channels to steward our wonderful supporters, ensuring they feel valued and helping to generate over £2million a year in sustainable income for Humane Society International/UK.

As part of the Individual Giving team, this role will largely support our direct mail appeal programme, regular giving programme and will be the first point of contact for supporter enquires – handling telephone calls, emails, social media and letters.

You will be responsible for ensuring supporters feel valued and appreciated through tailored communications to deliver an excellent supporter experience and will take a lead in coordinating our annual Thank-a-Thon – a direct way to say thank you to our supporters. You will also work closely with our suppliers in all aspects of the mailing process from creative concept through to delivery, as well as stewarding our amazing fundraisers who raise money for animals by taking part in marathons, bake sales and other events.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in our London office near Old Street tube in buzzy Shoreditch.

About the Individual Giving Team:

Our ambitious team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to raise £600k in 2025 with big and exciting plans to grow this significantly within the next 3 years.

We are a small but mighty team covering a range of channels across direct mail, DRTV and digital with plans to start telephone fundraising in 2025 as well as creating and delivering supporter journeys.

Part of a wider fundraising team of 8 who work across legacy, major donors, corporate and trusts – we work closely with our colleagues internationally both in the EU and the United States.

What we’re looking for in our Individual Giving Specialist

• Experience of working within a team in a similar role (e.g. fundraising/marketing), ideally with some experience in individual giving fundraising
• Experience of assisting with the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
• Experience of being in a front line supporter services role – confident in dealing with general enquiries
• Experience of admin activities such as database admin, invoicing, collating information for reports.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
•  Able to manage a varied workload, with support from the manager and wider team

Key Fundraising Responsibilities

• Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
• Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.
• Provide outstanding donor care to encourage a high level of retention and repeat donations.
• Work with IPWSO’s Fundraising Committee on a variety of fundraising initiatives, which may include a new collaborative global fundraiser to be rolled out in 2025.
• Act as the organisational lead for IPWSO’s CRM (Donorfy) and utilise it to improve the donor journey.
• Develop a robust pipeline of case studies for use in our fundraising campaigns.

Key Communications Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure that timely and appropriate replies are issued.
• Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.
• Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media, and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.
• Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.
• Produce compelling monthly newsletters and an Annual Report.
• Review and update IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.
• Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.
• Working with IPWSO’s Publication and Communication Committee, oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.
• Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.
• Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.

Railway Children is looking for a Supporter Experience Officer to cover maternity leave and be responsible for implementing our supporter engagement strategy.

About you:

The Supporter Engagement Officer is an integral role in the public fundraising and engagement team, continuing to develop our individual giving income streams and ensuring that our supporters feel valued and understand the amazing impact they have.

This is a great role for someone who is equally as comfortable analysing details in data as they are coming up with creative ways to engage our audiences. You’ll have a proven ability to grow income from individual donors while having the supporter’s needs at the heart of every interaction.

The role entails delivering supporter communication journeys across a range of channels and audiences so that we deliver excellent supporter care to all donors ensuring that their relationship with Railway Children is enhanced, their support retained and lifetime value maximised.

About This Role 

Over the last seven years we have grown into a recognised leader in the fight for menstrual equity. This is underpinned by a strong and diverse fundraising programme at Bloody Good Period, along with a distinctive, stand-out brand which is frequently sought out for high profile partnerships from partners across industries. We raise c£750K per annum, which delivers our impactful programme of work to meet immediate menstrual health needs via providing period products and menstrual education, and campaigning for long-term change so that we (ultimately) no longer have to do this work. 

We are searching for a new Fundraising Officer at Bloody Good Period to help us deliver an expanded programme of fundraising in 2025 and beyond. The Fundraising Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering public fundraising, as well as supporting the Fundraising Manager on corporate and major donor fundraising, maximising opportunities to grow BGP’s income.

You will develop 5-6-figure applications to trust, Lottery and statutory funders and to build robust cases for support and compelling proposition documents for the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships Team to use in approaching corporate and major philanthropic funders.

Working closely with both fundraisers and delivery leads across the charity, you will identify appealing funding opportunities aligned with Diabetes UK’s strategic priorities, and make sure the team have what they need to showcase these confidently to high-value supporters. You will also use cross-charity relationships to manage a portfolio of committed trust and statutory/Lottery grants.

You will be a highly skilled trust and/or statutory funder with experience of securing five- and six-figure grants and managing externally funded projects. You will have the versatility to use these skills to help meet the requirements of high-value corporate and philanthropic donors. You will enjoy building relationships across the charity and using your superb communication and writing skills to translate often complex projects into compelling propositions. This exciting and challenging role would also suit someone with excellent organisational and time management skills.
