Cambridge City Foodbank is looking for a Campaign Coordinator to join our team for an 8-month fixed-term contract to organise and mobilise people who have experienced poverty to take action as part of the Guarantee Our Essentials Campaign.
As a Cambridge City Foodbank employee, you will work closely with Trussell to deliver a local campaign strategy, influencing Cambridge MPs to support an Essentials Guarantee, and mobilising people with lived experience to take part. This role is at the heart of Cambridge City Foodbank’s work to end the need for food banks, and part of Trussell’s national Campaign Coordinator programme. The role is grant funded by Trussell and you ill be working with a small team of Campaign Coordinators at other UK food banks.
The Campaign Coordinator will be supported to use organising principles as part of their role. You will travel between different locations in the community, including Foodbank Welcome Centres and Fairbite Food Clubs, meeting people who are struggling to afford the essentials, arranging 121 conversations with them, and developing their commitment and confidence to take part in the campaign. You’ll also maintain relationships with local stakeholders and bringing people together to plan campaign actions.

DUTIES:
The Campaign Coordinator will:
- Build a network of people with lived experience of poverty and mobilise them to take part in campaign actions, including attending the national lobby day in Westminster.
- Lead community outreach including visiting Foodbank Welcome Centres and Fairbite Food Clubs and leading door-knocking sessions, connecting with people facing poverty and recruiting them to join the campaign.
- Hold 121s with people with lived experience of poverty, building their capacity for leadership and their commitment and confidence to take part in campaign actions.
- Involve people with lived experience and community stakeholders in designing and carrying out local campaign actions.
- Support local influencing work, engaging with MPs and Councillors to further the aims of national Guarantee Our Essentials campaign.
- Deliver Trussell’s local campaign strategy, working with the Organising and Local Mobilisation team at Trussell, and engage with the training and support on offer, including work with other Campaign Coordinators in the Trussell network.
Personal Specification:
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
- Experience mobilising people to take action as part of a campaign for change.
- Experience of working with people facing poverty, and knowledge of the main drivers of poverty in the UK.
- Experience communicating with people with different backgrounds, abilities and experiences.
- Experience facilitating meetings and planning engaging group activities.
- Ability to build relationships and gain trust of people with lived experience of poverty and using food banks.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to travel around Cambridge.

About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s leading food redistribution charity, dedicated to ensuring good food is never wasted and no one goes hungry. Last year, our nearly 180 staff and over 15,000 volunteers collected 32 million meals of surplus food, distributing it to Londoners in need through a network of over 1,100 community organisations, charities, and schools.
In London, one in five households with children lack reliable access to nutritious food, while the UK wastes 20 tonnes of food per second. The cost of living in London has risen by 24% in the last three years, and food prices continue to climb. About 14% of working families have turned to food support services for the first time in the past year, and 100,000 London families have less than £3 a day for food.
Our work has never been more needed, and demand continues to grow: we are building our expertise and impact in response. The Felix Project now operates from four main depots in North, South, East, and West London, with ‘point-to-point’ projects in Central London and Canary Wharf. The East London depot has a kitchen producing up to 5,000 meals per day from surplus food. A new 'Multibank' in Ealing distributes non-food essentials.
Purpose of the Job:
Based in one of our operational warehouses you will help support Felix’s missions through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank.
The Community Coordinator role will support the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators.
Your work will help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

Job Purpose
The Tutoring Plus Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust that provides an opportunity for candidates to grow and develop new and existing skillsets. The role involves a combination of people-facing and administrative tasks, including: forming and maintaining strong relationships with school contacts, tutors, parents, Virtual School teams and other key stakeholders; leading introductory and review meetings; coordinating tuition sessions, registers, school invoices and tutor payment; liaising with local authorities and alternative provision settings to provide support for pupils who are Looked after or in alternative provision.
Coordinators’ main responsibilities are working with schools and tutors to organise tuition and ensure that its everyday delivery is efficient and properly recorded. The Tutor Trust is committed to monitoring the impact of tuition and is therefore highly data-driven in approach, whilst also being dedicated to a hands-on and personal approach with partners. This combination provides a balance to the role that enables candidates to explore various aspects of coordination and cultivate numerous transferable skills.
You will also have the opportunity to support the tutor recruitment and training process and help to ensure that it runs smoothly. You will maintain and improve systems for the benefit of all our tutors, including ongoing tutor support.

Main Functions
· Advertise and allocate tuition to tutors, conduct induction meetings with tutors to determine any additional training needs for assignments and attend meetings with providers to set up and monitor on-going tuition assignments. This includes leading meetings in schools, alternative provision settings and in homes
· Recording, monitoring and approving tuition sessions and their outcomes (feedback and baseline/endpoint assessments) using The Tutor Trust’s sophisticated CRM
· Attend and occasionally lead partnership meetings with TLC, Prince’s Trust and other charities to discuss the progress of the projects and the children and families within it. This includes meeting with social workers and other key contacts
· Provide administrative support for The Tutoring Plus team in both internal and external meetings
· Assist with external communication
· Take part in general induction presentations and other events to promote the Tutor Trust both internally and externally
· Ensure that the appropriate Impact Data is collected from both tutors and providers. This enables our Quality and Impact Team to gather vital evidence of the progress children make when receiving tuition
· Provide timely and accurate reports on Tutoring Plus tuition progress for both team and external meetings
· Organise cover for tutors that are absent due to sickness, exams etc.
· Promote The Tutor Trust tuition services to AP and LAC providers across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire.
· Help with preparation for The Tutor Trust events aimed at a range of stakeholders
· Be involved in the recruitment process for tutors, including short listing, interviewing and training
· Assist other staff to complete a variety of administrative tasks that enable the Trust to operate effectively and efficiently
· Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of the post
Person Specification
Good candidates for this role will be high achievers, with excellent IT and English skills, diplomatic and inter-personal skills, and plenty of initiative.

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998. The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire. These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, the gig buddy and travel buddy schemes, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.
About the role
We are now looking for a committed individual who will enjoy a diverse and challenging role. The role holder will work across a variety of our projects. This includes working with the Travel Buddy Coordinator to ensure the delivery and growth of a high-quality programme of travel support for our membership. The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.
Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C? We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.
Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager, this post will continue the development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers across identified areas within West Kent. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
This post will require extensive travel across the county and the post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Purpose of the Job
The Dad Matters coordinators deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at male parents in the First 1001 Days. They support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. They also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways.
The post holder will:
- Build on the Home-Start Haringey, Hackney and Waltham Forest foundation of peer support by engaging and supporting dads in one to one and group situations.
- Ensure that parent – infant relationships are a thread through every relationship and conversation with dads.
- Raise awareness of the risks of poor mental health for fathers and their families during the perinatal period
- Raise awareness of the impact on fathers of caring for a partner affected by perinatal mental health issues
- Develop the Dad Matters volunteer role
- Develop close links with other health and voluntary agencies
- Facilitate regular consultation with fathers through outreach and focus groups
Main Responsibilities
Support to Dads
The post holder will provide individual and group support to dads during the perinatal period. This will involve the following:
- Meeting dads at ante-natal clinics
- Facilitating or co-facilitating ante-natal Dad Chats in person and online
- Supporting the developments of support offered to dads with children on NICU and those with partners in receipt of care from Perinatal Mental Health teams, Adult Mental Health, IAPT and Parent Infant Mental Health teams
- Signposting and supporting access to other services as appropriate
- Undertake designated responsibilities to safeguard and promote children’s welfare
- Ensure equality of opportunity, fairness and diversity in all aspects of work
- Facilitate regular consultation with fathers in order to ensure that all resources are targeted appropriately
Promotion & Awareness Raising:
- Maintain up-to-date information for dads and make this available through the Dad Matters website and a range of social media
- Engage dads through social media, self-referral and email.
- Ensure the integrity of the Dad Matters Brand when engaging dads and professionals.
Recruiting & Managing Volunteers – this will involve:
- Promoting, developing and delivering volunteer recruitment campaigns
- Recruiting, selecting and preparing suitable volunteers
- Arranging and co-ordinating volunteer activity in person and online
- Providing support and supervision for volunteers engaged in working with dads
- To provide further training for Home-Start Haringey, Hackney and Waltham Forest home visiting volunteers as appropriate
Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Support the evaluation of the impact of Dad Matters
- Ensure accurate and relevant record keeping and data collection
Working in Partnership
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key health partners, including those from Parent Infant Mental Health teams, Midwifery, IAPT, Perinatal Teams, Adult Mental Health, Health Visiting and other VCSE groups
- Networking appropriately within the community
- Delivering/co-delivering training to multi-agency colleagues as appropriate

The London Programme Coordinator will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to seven partner schools, attending and coordinating weekly tutoring sessions, developing relationships with pupils, school staff and volunteer tutors and collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring sessions to ensure effective and impactful programme delivery.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; leading weekly face to face and online tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
- Responsible for overseeing the quality of both face to face and online tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers.
- Update and maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and end of programme surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators.
Qualifications and experience criteria:
- Experience working with volunteers and/or young people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of ability to prioritise and manage administrative tasks
Reports to: London Programme Manager
Salary: £26,368 + £2,271 London weighting per annum
Contract and hours: Permanent, full time contract (37.5 hours)
We offer flexible hours 9.30-4pm as core hours.
