Who we are

The Lyde Green Community Association (LGCA) is run by local volunteers, with the objective of generating community spirit and making Lyde Green a great place to live and visit. As well as organising community events, we work with local partners, including the consortium of developers and local council, to influence issues that matter to Lyde Green residents.

We are currently leading a COVID-19 community response across Lyde Green and trying to help the community in a number of ways.

We run the Lyde Green Community Centre, which opened its doors in September 2018. Whilst the doors may be closed, we are supporting the community and small businesses by offering a virtual community centre timetable.

We will also be recruiting a Community Development Worker in the coming weeks so please let us know if you are interested in this role as well.
