About us
Who we are
The Nystagmus Network is a registered charity in England and Wales supporting people living with nystagmus. Nystagmus is a complex eye condition, characterised by involuntary movements of the eyes where they appear to wobble or flicker from side to side, up and down or round and round. The charity offers support and information to the 1 in 1,000 people at least who have nystagmus and raises awareness of the condition, whilst also funding research into potential treatments.
Our culture and values
Our mission is to champion the cause of the nystagmus community we support. We want to empower people, raise awareness of the condition, its impact and the interventions needed. We seek to change attitudes, break down barriers, build relationships and drive ground-breaking research.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Our philosophy is that anyone with impaired vision can do just about any job there is provided they are given the right support.
