About the role
Step 2 and 3 of the NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire service is provided in partnership by Solent Mind (step 2) and Southern Health NHS Foundation (step 3). We employ Qualified PWPs to deliver support to step 2 patients.
This role involves delivering assessments as well as evidenced-based low intensity CBT interventions for those with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety disorders. The range of treatments you may provide would include one-to-one guided self-help via telephone and video, with the opportunity to offer face-to-face in addition to cCBT programmes, webinars, workshops and psycho-educational groups.
You’ll be based across either Eastleigh, Gosport or Basingstoke Digital Hubs, including hybrid working considered with some home working each week.
The starting salary is £28,407 pro-rata, per annum rising to £30,639 after 2 years of service and then £34,581 after a further 2 years of service.
About you
You’ll need to be highly motivated and resilient to cope with the demands of working in this large, high volume service. To be successful, you’ll also need strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and excellent IT and organisational skills.
You must hold a Postgraduate or Degree Certificate in Psychological Therapies, otherwise you cannot be considered for this role.

The Role
As our Philanthropy Manager, reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will identify and approach people who wish to invest in the advancement of worldwide research to find cures for cancer. You will grow Yorkshire Cancer Research’s portfolio of major donors and deliver exceptional levels of tailored engagement and stewardship. In doing this, you will contribute towards the charity’s ambition to secure significant income to achieve the charity's plans to save more lives in Yorkshire and beyond.
Specifically, you will:

Develop and implement Yorkshire Cancer Research’s major donor fundraising strategy and plans.

Provide philanthropic individuals with the opportunity to fund research and services that will make a positive difference to people with cancer in Yorkshire, and beyond.

Closely listen to and understand individual’s interests and/or concerns and match their requirements to the charity’s research/services that are likely to be of greatest interest.

Develop a portfolio of potential major donors and create appropriate engagement opportunities* ensuring that these opportunities match the individual donor’s wants and needs.
(*These engagement opportunities may include events, communications, smaller dinners, and meetings with senior people at Yorkshire Cancer Research).

Provide a bespoke, professional customer experience to all contacts at all times.

Work with colleagues (e.g. in the marketing and the events teams) to identify existing charity activities that may help attract and engage major donors.

Build a pipeline of major donor prospects who share the charity’s values and ambition to save lives by researching and trialling new ways to cure cancer.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:

A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or proven experience working in a similar role at a similar level.

The Role:
As the Database & Impact Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing, customising, and optimising their case management software, Microsoft Dynamics. You will work closely with stakeholders, including Pragmatiq, the University of Birmingham, and Trust Impact, to enhance data capabilities and build data maturity across their network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Database Development & Management: Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics for women’s centres. Lead on requirements gathering and improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
* Training & Support: Train team members and stakeholders on Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, fostering a positive data culture.
* Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with GDPR and data retention policies. Lead the annual IT audit for Microsoft Dynamics.
* National Travel: Occasional travel to women’s centres and other locations across the UK (estimated two days a month).
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with extensive experience in database administration and development, particularly focusing on case management systems. You should demonstrate a strong passion for justice and rights, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
This involves:
* Proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
* Experience in creating and delivering training materials for diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is highly desirable, but we can consider experience with similar software.

Job description
The aim of this exciting role is to contribute to the delivery of Mind in Tower Hamlets (MITHNR) and East London Foundation NHS Trust’s (ELFT) Talking Therapies Employment Advice Service.
Purpose of the role
To provide employment advice to patients accessing ELFT NHS Talking Therapies, supporting patients to gain and/or retain employment via one to one information, advice and guidance sessions. This role is part of the national Employment Advice in NHS Talking Therapies programme and has been accredited by the Matrix standards for information, advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Role Specific
· Maintain a caseload of clients offering one to one support to help clients find, remain or retain employment.
· Carry out initial telephone assessments and action plans using SMART goals to identify clients goals and barriers to employment.
· Offer a range of employment support interventions to clients that will support them to find, remain or return to work.
· Offer one to one sessions at least 1 evening per week where working hours will be 11 – 6:30pm
· Work in an integrated way with the IAPT clinical team to demonstrate a seamless service to the client. Co-location to different NHS IAPT services and centres across Tower Hamlets to offer Employment Advice.
· Support clients to create CVs, Cover Letters, write applications, inform clients of job search techniques, and provide mock interview practice.
· Provide 1-2-1 support to clients to enable them to return to work after long term sickness absence or other reasons
· Work closely with employers to support clients to remain in their jobs by negotiating reasonable adjustments at the workplace
· Work closely with local employment law professionals and trade unions to offer clients and their employers with information about their employment rights and responsibilities
· Manage allocated service project and work with the team to ensure referrals are received on time
· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed on time, including questionnaires, reports and minutes for each client engagement and that these are regularly updated using the IAPTus (patient database system) and protocols.
· Ensure Caseload Management Tool is regularly up to date with client session information and targets.
· Signpost the client, where necessary, to other agencies who will be able to provide advice on benefits or support that the client may be entitled to

· Comply with, promote, and contribute to the development of MindTHNR’s: Aims and

You must have:
· At least 1 year of providing Employment Advice or equivalent work experience in Employment/IAG Sector
· Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to provide 1-2-1-person centred employment advice

· Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and establishing good working relationships with other provider organisations, e.g., legal advice, job centres and HR

Job purpose
This is a pivotal role created to support an ambitious £80m fundraising appeal that will culminate in the creation of the new Royal Free London Cancer Centre.
The RFL, is one of the busiest cancer services in London, combining local care for a population of 2.5m with specialist services relied on by patients from all over the UK and beyond. By 2030, the number of people diagnosed with cancer in north central London is forecast to increase by 42% to 66,000 as the population ages.
The RFL urgently needs to increase its diagnostic, treatment, research and development capacity to meet the needs of our patients. In response, the Royal Free Charity is preparing a major fundraising appeal to support:
- the capital costs for the construction and equipping of a dedicated centre
- the delivery of cancer-related support services.
The campaign communications manager will support the activities of our fundraising directorate in the private phase (Autumn 2024 onwards) and the launch of the public phase of our appeal in early 2026.
The postholder will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to engage philanthropists, existing supporters, grateful patients, stakeholders and the public. It promises to be a varied and rewarding role in a small but highly collaborative and friendly team.
The role will report to our head of communications and work closely with the campaign director and colleagues in our fundraising directorate and with key clinical leads in the RFL.
The role is ideally suited to someone who is comfortable working across strategic planning and operational delivery, relishing the opportunity to translate plans into activity.
Engagement and communications department
The communications team is responsible for keeping our supporters and local residents informed about the difference we make to the patients and staff of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
We celebrate achievements and promote the charity and its successes to the world. We manage our digital presence through a range of channels including our website, our social media platforms and email marketing.

Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. NextGen Fund
- Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.

About the organisation
Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer charity devoted to delivering workshops that help people living with a cancer diagnosis to cope with the physical and emotional side effects of their treatment. Delivered by trained volunteers from the beauty industry, the free workshops offer practical advice about changes to skin and hair as well as supporting body confidence and well-being. The Role
The charity is now embarking on a significant growth plan which will see a trebling in the number of beneficiaries supported (from 10,000 to 30,000 within four years). JOB PURPOSE:
CVS Brent is looking to recruit its next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations in the borough of Brent.
The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in leading CVS Brent through a pivotal transition period with a focus on stabilising the organisation and laying the groundwork for meaningful organisational change. CVS Brent is a dynamic and independent charity dedicated to supporting the diverse and vibrant voluntary sector in Brent. Through a range of services, including expert advice, professional training, and effective advocacy, we enable individuals and organisations in Brent to build the capacity necessary to meet the needs and aspirations of their communities through voluntary action. Located in an inner-city borough with a rich tradition of voluntary activity, we actively promote innovative approaches to working and foster relationships and partnerships between communities, local government, and health services.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership and Execution: In collaboration with the Board, the CEO will define CVS Brent's strategic direction, goals, monitor progress, and set targets..
- Provide Visionary Leadership: Lead and support staff to enhance their contributions and ensure effective programme development and delivery.
- Manage Foundation Building and Change: Establish a strong foundation for future service growth. Navigate the organisation through transitions, ensuring stability and resilience.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Align CVS Brent's objectives with those of its stakeholders by collaborating with voluntary and community organisations, local authorities, and other partners to foster meaningful relationships.
- Embrace Innovation: Encourage creative thinking and explore new approaches to address challenges.
- Represent CVS Brent publicly: Represent CVS Brent and nurture effective relationships across local, regional, and national networks. Actively seek opportunities to expand and promote CVS Brent's role and impact.
- Build Capacity: Enhance the capacity of local organisations by designing and delivering effective programs.
- Lead Policy and Advocacy Efforts: Including engagement with Brent Council, NHS regulators, and other decision-makers.
- Build Strong Connections: Cultivate and maintain strong networks with key supporters, stakeholders, and partnership agencies to strengthen CVS Brent’s impact.
- Generate Income: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with partners, supporters, funders, and potential funders to capitalise on income generation opportunities.
- Manage Finances: Acquire the necessary resources for efficient operation (from both current and new funding avenues). Additionally oversee budgeting and risk management.
- Report to the Board of Trustees: Attend Board meetings and keep the Board informed about CVS Brent's progress, relevant matters, and the charity's mission. Provide timely and relevant information to aid the Board in fulfilling its duties. Alert the Board to any significant risks facing the charity.
- Ensure Robust Oversight: Uphold and implement CVS Brent's policies, procedures, and systems. Strive for operational excellence by adhering to established guidelines and continuously improving processes.
- Stay Informed and Proactive: Continuously monitor and stay updated on current social, economic, political, environmental, and other relevant trends. Use this knowledge to identify strategic development opportunities for CVS Brent and proactively adapt to changing circumstances.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
While no specific qualification is required, evidence of recent continuing professional development in areas such as management, leadership, or organisational culture is desired. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field will be considered.
