Background
The post is a new role that will support the Head of Fundraising in raising income for the charity. You will oversee the development and marketing of our corporate income stream, the Specialist Skills Directory, and foster relationships with corporate supporters when required. This key role involves delivering a grants portfolio to support the strategic aims of Veterans and Family Services. This is a permanent role paying a salary of £38,000 to £43,000 per annum. Our client is considering both full-time and part-time candidates. This role is based in their offices in Greenwich, London.

This is a vacancy for an established but growing Corporate and Community Fundraiser role in a Berkshire based charity, generating funds from local businesses and community groups, events and individuals.
Camp Mohawk is a local but widely known and highly respected organisation, providing support services to children and young people with special needs and their families from our beautiful woodland site in rural East Berkshire. Camp Mohawk supports over 700 families from across the South / South East region, seeing over 17,000 visitors each year.
Many of our families and young people find it extremely difficult to access public play and leisure facilities, and the challenges they face with day-to-day life means that they are at significant risk of social isolation and deteriorating mental and physical health. Recent studies have found that families who have a child with special needs are experiencing significant pressure on their family finances, over and above those being experienced by the general population. Camp Mohawk is committed to a voluntary contribution system of charges for the families who use our service and with very limited government / local authority funding available we are therefore almost entirely reliant on grants and donations to make up our annual income requirements.
We have a vacancy for a dynamic, driven and experienced individual to join our small fundraising team, focussing on generating income from corporate and community sources and working closely with our Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. The successful applicant will be a superb communicator, with proven presentation and / or public speaking experience, allowing them to engage and enthuse diverse audiences of all ages. Summary of key duties:
Executive Assistance:
· Schedule, organise and minute meetings as required for Leadership Team members, ensuring all necessary arrangements are considered.

· Establish, and keep under review, the policy and process for the booking of spaces at Overton House to external users.
· Oversee bookings by partner organisations, ensuring all appropriate agreements and guidance are in place for external users and that bookings and visitors are well managed.
· Liaise with the Marketing & Communications Team to ensure that appropriate communications about available space and booking processes are in place.
· Oversee the receiving of external visitors to Overton House, ensuring a welcoming and accessible environment for all.

· Proven experience of working as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant at a senior level
· Experience of providing administrative support and project coordination for a range of parallel projects

The Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager will work closely with fundraising and operational colleagues to diversify and grow income from Trusts, Foundations, Statutory bodies, and other institutional funders to enable the organisation to fulfill its strategic priorities. Key responsibilities:
· To play an integral role alongside other senior colleagues to pursue an ambitious Income Generation Plan.
· To secure significant income through charitable Trusts and grant making organisations including statutory bodies to provide income to support organisational priorities.
· To research and identify appropriate funders whose criteria match RMCs’ work and develop plans, prepare cases for support, and submit compelling bids and complex grant applications as appropriate.
· To develop and maintain a strong pipeline of £50k+ prospects, working with fundraising and operational colleagues to develop high-value, strategic and multi-year opportunities.

Personal specification
Knowledge and Experience:
· At least 5 years’ experience of Trusts and Foundations and Statutory fundraising, with a proven track record of success in winning large (above £50,000) and multi – year grants.
· Experience of managing relationships with external stakeholders
· Experience of writing impactful progress and monitoring reports to funders
· Experience of developing and managing budgets in line with funding applications.
· Experience of administration and record-keeping using a CRM – we currently use Donorfy
· Excellent research skills with an eye to identify opportunities.
· Experience of working and communicating effectively with people from a range of different cultures, faiths, and backgrounds.
· Understanding of the funding environment in the migration and social justice sectors in the UK

Purpose of the job

As a Trusts & Grants Officer, you will be joining a supportive and highly ambitious Partnerships and Trusts Team sitting within the wider External Relations Department. You will be leading on the relationship management of a portfolio of low to mid value Trusts & Foundations partnerships, building on your knowledge and expertise across relationship management and proactively spotting opportunities to build new relationships with other Trusts & Foundations.
You will split your time between relationship management of existing partnerships and new opportunities, supporting this team to conduct thorough prospect research into our priority sectors, make approaches to prospective partners and supporting with the development of bids.
Key responsibilities

Leading on the relationship management and stewardship of a portfolio of UK Youth’s low to mid value Trusts & Foundations, maximising income and other mutually beneficial opportunities across in-kind.

Championing existing partnerships internally to ensure the partnership’s expectations are delivered and exceeded. This includes working to secure engagement from Senior Leadership and relevant colleagues across Communications and Engagement.

Coordinate with internal groups and senior colleagues across the Impact and Network Delivery teams to write applications and reports.

Conduct and support colleagues on the Trusts & Foundations team with prospect research, helping to build a strong pipeline of new, well-researched opportunities that have strong alignment with UK Youth’s funding priorities.

Support the Trusts & Foundations team in making approaches to a list of high value Trust & Foundation prospects, delivering high quality bids to secure new partnerships.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will assess referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, and produce support plans and risk management plans based on these assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process. We will count on you to develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies, including police, treatment provider and Liaison and Diversion, and to deliver a holistic support service working, providing a practical service that will include social and housing support, education, training and employment options, benefits work, and debt advice.
Closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a success plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future is also a key aspect of the role.
What we are looking for
- If still serving a sentence: to be currently eligible for Release on Temporary License (ROTL); on release, likely to be living within commuting distance of Wakefield; to be willing to provide a DBS check and other disclosure as required, including references from the Prison Service
- Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and the ability to assess client’s needs
- Experience in negotiation with partner agencies to establish links to further aims of the project
- Proven record of engaging successfully with challenging people
- Knowledge of services for offenders and patterns of offending in Wakefield

Oasis Community Hub East Southampton are recruiting for an experienced Lead Youth Worker to work alongside the youth and community hub team in East Southampton. The role will be focussed on the East Southampton community surrounding Oasis Academies Mayfield and Sholing and the Harefield Hub space. Delivering detached work, alongside other partners using our Oasis Youth van; delivering mentoring in schools and supporting and developing a youth team.
Key responsibilities will be:
