This role sits within the Irish Chaplaincy IC Traveller Equality Project team. Responsibilities include:
Liaise with London Probation, prisons and other agencies to advance equality of opportunity for the GRT community; assist in giving presentations; Probation office visit with easy reading culturally specific books, GRT resources, take part in market style events, explain services, deliver presentations in person and over teams, participate in relevant conferences and meetings.
Deliver an effective advocacy service to the GRT community in prison and their families in response to referrals arising from prison visiting, allocating follow up casework as necessary. Provide advocacy with a wide range of external bodies.
Take responsibility for caseload of clients and to liaise with others in the service delivery to provide comprehensive service to those preparing for release / re settlement and those on probation in the community in London.
Provide, by telephone, email and letter, information about legal and penal systems to prisoners and their families and put them in touch with agencies for specialised help. Mail outs / resource packs to prisoners. Data form management.
Proactively engage with HMPPS, legal/welfare groups and other relevant organisations as requested by GRT prisoners while they are in prison and on probation
Keep, collate and maintain accurate detailed records for own work (via database) ensuring adherence to data protection rules; maintain the cultural and educational resources of the Project; disseminate resources to prisons and other relevant bodies; assist with the production of a newsletter; contribute material to quarterly reports, funder applications and other reports.

The events programme attracts participants from across the NHS, local authority, people using health and care services, commercial, statutory, and the voluntary and community sectors. The events team is responsible for delivering a large portion of the free events that take place across The Fund; including online events, roundtables, workshops, receptions and dinners. The team also has ownership over our paid-for events programme; which includes virtual conferences, in-person conferences and congresses. The events team ensures that there is a co-ordinated and uniform approach to delivering virtual or in-person events, and that each is delivered to the same high standard.
This role will give you an exciting opportunity to work in our busy events team within a well-respected health think-tank and charity. You will work with colleagues on planning and delivering a mixture of pay-to-attend conferences (virtual and in-person), roundtable discussions, dinners, and free online events. You will also manage the content design and delivery of our joint-badged events with our Corporate Partners and Supporters.
You will lead on several events in the schedule; ensuring they run smoothly, keep to strict budgets, are delivered to a very high standard, meet the expectations of colleagues and delegates, and enhance our reputation and public profile. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of our portfolio of in-person, virtual and hybrid events.
To join us, you’ll need a degree (or equivalent) and experience in planning and delivering virtual and in person conferences and other smaller events. With this background, you’ll know how to research and develop event content to create engaging programmes and attract wide audiences. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead effective logistics arrangements in preparation for and on the day of events. We’ll expect you to work hard to support the team and you will be given responsibility for your own areas of work. You’ll also need to be flexible, diligent, and comfortable being the main point of contact for many people from sponsors to speakers.

We are seeking a Sex Worker Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (SWISVA) to provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to people involved in sex work, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, including those directly related to sexual violence. You will support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so. You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence, including pathways through the criminal justice processes.
The post is part of a unique partnership between National Ugly Mugs, Basis Yorkshire and POW (Nottingham) to ensure more specialist support for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence, to develop good practice guidelines, develop and share learning, and to influence change in provisions for sex workers. Each organisation will be employing a SWISVA; the program will be led by a Program Coordinator who will be based with Basis Yorkshire, and who will lead on influencing of policy and sharing of learning to improve outcomes for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence
The main role responsibilities (further outlined in the job description) are:

Ensure that sex workers have access to specialist sexual violence services, including access to the SARC and support throughout the criminal justice process

About the role
Music Services is the delivery arm of Nordoff Robbins and encompasses the provision of music therapy and related activities including education, training and research. The Music Services Administrator will work closely with the Country and Regional Managers of our East & West of Scotland and Southwest England/South Wales teams, and alongside other Music Services Administrators to ensure that the admin function is well run, organised, efficient and effective, and that clients, visitors and callers have a positive experience when they spend time with us. We need someone who can also support the essential data evaluation and impact assessment activities of the Music Services team, underpinning the music therapy delivery data needs of the organisation.
Many of our clients lead challenging lives and include vulnerable children and adults. This role is therefore subject to a basic DBS/PVG check.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
This role will work with the partners and/ or ex-partners and other affected people (parents/siblings/children and young people) of any participants accessing support through our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme (DAPP). The overall aim of this role is to ensure their safety is not compromised by the intervention.
This role will involve providing emotional and practical support to affected others following a personal needs led assessment as well as corroborating information to assure safety, in addition there will be the opportunity to deliver psychoeducation sessions designed to increase the understanding of the impact of trauma on the brain, domestic abuse, healthy relationships and the impact on parenting.
The successful candidate will work closely with the DAPP Manager, Partner Safety worker and Behaviour Change Advisors to deliver a holistic approach to addressing domestic abuse.
The role will also include working with other agencies to ensure that a coordinated community response approach is taken to support the persons recovery and personal goals and attendance at multi agency meetings as required.
This role is based in our Gloucester site and the successful candidate will be willing to travel across the Gloucester County to attend events, meetings and appointments.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Complete specialist risk assessments (including DASH) and develop personalised safety and support plans for victims of domestic abuse, in collaboration with clients.
- Ensure high risk victims are referred to MARAC as required.
- Ensure safeguarding concerns are reported and escalated.
- Undertake proactive contact with clients, providing emotional and practical support.
- Ensure people are referred to other support agencies to meet their needs and aid recovery
- Provide information about the nature, possible impact, and limitations of the programme.
- Participate in case management process.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals to manage risk.
- Participate in all required training and supervision activities.
- Plan, debrief and undertake the necessary follow-up work in relation to client contact.
- Develop joint working arrangements with other organisations providing support to those at risk from domestic abuse and follow referral pathways to those organisations.
- Make priority contact with people as the need arises, including when there are concerns about an increase in risk.
- Assist with monitoring policies and procedures and producing reports.

Role Requirements
- Working alongside the Head of Public Fundraising, you will strengthen and implement business planning, pipeline and budgeting processes as well as devise comprehensive audience-led stewardship plans, maintaining momentum and focus to achieve targets.
- Lead the implementation and delivery of the strategy for the Events and Partnerships teams and work with the Head of Public Fundraising and the teams to develop and review strategies to maximise income from events and partnerships

- Lead the Events team to review and overhaul our current events programme so that we are maximising net income and ROI as well as meeting the needs of our supporters and local community, and building connections and long-term relationships with our events supporters
- Work across the Retail, Fundraising and Communications directorate to maximise opportunities for contact mapping, cross-sell and support the activity of other teams within the directorate (including but not limited to stock donations, sponsorship of committee-led events, pro bono support, gifts in kind etc.)
- Be responsible for the implementation of the budgets and delivery of income and expenditure against the plans

Pay and conditions
- The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) but will consider a minimum of 30 hours.
- The salary for the role will be £27,121 to £32,486

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Write compelling funding pitches for projects or fundraising campaigns.
- Represent CSE at external events to promote our work, support horizon scanning and identify future partners for the fundraising team to work with.
- Maintain accurate and up to date fundraising content on website, all other CSE communications channels and third-party platforms.
