As Dementia Data and Intelligence Lead, you have a new and exciting opportunity to lead how we evolve our ability to use health related dementia data in the development and curation of our strategic evidence base. You will play a significant role in our mission to make dementia the priority it needs to be.
You will work alongside a Health Economics Lead and Strategic Evidence Manager and line manage a Dementia Data Analyst. Together, you will provide expertise on evidence, data and insight in the context of dementia, ensuring that the Society’s decisions and interpretation of dementia and the system is based on the highest quality of dementia evidence.
You will also be part of an even larger Evidence, Policy & Influencing (EP&I) function which is laser-focused on ending the devastation of dementia through changing policy. You will also be an integral part of the part of EP&I Management Team. Integration and teamwork are everything in this role – with colleagues internally and with the system externally.
You will:
- Hold responsibility for providing leadership and in house expertise on health-related dementia data, helping us to develop and curate our strategic evidence base, with minimal supervision, reflecting your high-level responsibilities.
- Identify, track and analyse datasets specifically related to dementia, but also across the wider health and social care landscape and from a range of sources.
- Be an expert in building intelligence within a health or social environment, providing leadership on complex assignments and projects, and providing technical guidance to others in resolving complex issues related to dementia data.
- Make our strategic evidence base everyone’s business – to our people, and key players in the dementia system.

Your new role
The Education Support Administrator will provide administrative and logistics support to the Education Team and members of the Adviser team in their role as educational facilitators.
The role will include activities such as:
- Supporting delivery of digital training, including setting up of break out rooms, on the day event support, provision of training for trainers in related software, assisting with new product design for online materials.
- In the case of face to face training tasks might include, but are not limited to liaising with, clients, booking venues/meeting rooms, external suppliers, making accommodation bookings, ordering refreshments, assisting in the production and maintenance of educational materials and presentation slides, providing on the day virtual event support via MS Teams including the management of break out rooms, basic data entry, checking various corporate stakeholder contact databases for accuracy; inputting and/or downloading data (usually evaluation feedback and workshop registrations); ordering relevant stationery, printing and collating educational materials, couriering materials to relevant venues, setting up and down training rooms.
- The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of the annual work plan of the Education Team.
- The post holder will be managed by the Education Manager and will report to the Education Support Co-ordinator.
What you'll need to succeed
- Provide effective customer service through a timely, confident response to internal and external customer needs and queries via telephone, face to face work and email.
- Provide technical support for training delivery via MS Teams and other platforms to enable delivery of training.
- Carry out delegated administrative tasks designed to support training delivery including but not confined to, ordering of supplies, liaising with and setting up of venues, liaison with SME's and other identified internal and external stakeholders, printing, collating and photocopying and aspects of technical support.

Job Description
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) created the Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) to help cultural organisations and heritage sites during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Fund included a £254 million loans programme for arts, culture and heritage organisations. Arts Council acts as loan agent for the borrowers in the programme portfolio.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Arts Council's management of the CRF loans portfolio. You will be the principal contact with DCMS and will be required to meet with them regularly to report on a range of CRF loans portfolio issues and activities including formal portfolio reviews, loan re-profile recommendations, commissioning of external legal and financial advice, loans management process and systems.
The CRF Loans Director will have direct line management responsibility for the CRF loans team and your duties will include:
- Overseeing effective loans monitoring processes to identify where borrowers' business performance indicates a risk to loan repayment
- Reporting to DCMS on the performance of the loans' portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Making recommendations on appropriate action to take on defaulting or at-risk loans.
- Ensuring performance management, risk and internal controls are in place and used effectively.
The Successful Applicant
The successful CRF Loans Director will hold an ACA/CCAB/CIMA qualification (or equivalent) with experience of working at a senior level and exposure to working with loan lenders and borrowers.
You will have excellent financial analysis skills and be able to present complex financial information in simple understandable form to decision makers and others.
Ideally you will have a background within an audit and/or social impact organisation and have an understanding of shaping a loans fund.

As recipients of ongoing multi-million-dollar grants, we are at an exciting juncture and are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Lead with a solid track record in personally securing 6 – 7 figure grants from new donors, whether government, institutional, INGOs, and/or large trusts and foundations, to join our team. This role is on track to Chief Operating Officer (COO), contingent on exceptional performance and results.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to:
- Conduct prospect research to identify and qualify high-quality new donor leads for MDF and proactively track and respond to large funding opportunities and RFPs, helping us continuously build and enhance our prospect pipeline.
- Carry out detailed research and mappings to identify existing links with potential donors, whether through our leadership, Board, donors, etc., and recommend pathways to relationship building.

About You

Experience and Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role(s), with a preference for experience in institutional, trust/foundation, and/or Big Bet philanthropy, and evidence of personal track record in bringing in new funding.
- Experience working for an international development NGO is desirable, particularly in the space of Nutrition, Maternal and Infant Health, SGBV, and/or women and girls’ rights more broadly.
- Willingness to join the team in the local office ideally one day per week and for occasional international travel (1-2 weeks per year).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Salford CVS to support our grants and investment programmes.
We are looking to recruit a part-time (30 hours per week) Grants Development Worker on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
In consultation and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements of PETA, PETA France, PETA US, and PETA Science Consortium International e.V, the successful candidate will undertake the following:
- Independently research and interpret a variety of scientific, political, policy-driven, and other issues related to animal testing in order to further PETA’s goals
- Build networks and coordinate meetings with key policymakers and other stakeholders
- Write factsheets, white papers, reports, correspondence, and other literature
- Build relationships and maintain communication with key audiences, particularly decision-makers in the legislative and administrative arenas
