We use the knowledge and insight gained from our support services and partnerships to highlight the issues experienced by older people in poverty and campaign for change.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Infrastructure Team provides the technological foundation for core business functions including network access, hardware and software, printers and remote working. The team is a key support function and provides a customer centric service, providing colleagues with the tools, systems and support they need to carry out their job roles efficiently and effectively.
This role is responsible for supporting the work of the Infrastructure Team providing overall IT Support and being the first point-of-contact to all staff across the UK, including home-based staff, by phone, email, and face-to-face at our office in London.
You will provide a proactive service to all users in diagnosing faults, answering requests, providing training and guides, and timely solutions. You will also maintain the asset registers and helpdesk system ensuring they are kept up to date. You will need strong administrative skills with good attention to detail and the ability to communicate and articulate clearly, written and verbally.
You will support the delivery of technological solutions and services within Independent Age, consistent with organisation plans and strategies, best practice and agreed functional specifications and professional standards.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in a related discipline and/or have technical qualifications including, knowledge of IT service operations with incident management, request fulfilment, access management, and problem management. Excellent customer service skills are also key.
You should also have a basic understanding of Infrastructure management including Active Directory, file structures, and security, along with experience supporting Windows and Mac devices, Office 365, and end-user devices and systems, and working in a busy and dynamic office environment, supporting users in person and remotely.
The postholder will be supported with learning and development, with a potential opportunity to undertake apprenticeship training within the role.

We have an exciting role available for a motivatSed and passionate leader to join the No Second Night Out (NSNO) team as Service Manager, where you will have the opportunity to lead our Staging Post team in Lewisham. The NSNO Staging Post project offers additional assessment and reconnection support to clients over a 28 day period, ensuring those at risk of rough sleeping can be directed to services suitable to their immediate, medium and longer term needs. In the rewarding role of Service Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day to day running of the service, support and manage a team across the project.
- Work closely with outreach teams, local authorities, other housing providers, landlords and charities to identify and improve pathways out of rough sleeping.
- Provide line management and motivational support to a high performing team.
- Liaise with partner agencies to build and maintain effective relationships to support effective service delivery.
- Work on site in Hither Green 4 days a week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day.
About you
We are looking for a motivated and passionate manager to lead and support a team across the project. You will have a genuine interest in the overall aims of the service, and demonstrate:
- A creative and dynamic approach, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and negotiate with a wide range of partners and external audiences.
- The ability to operate in a fast paced environment and manage a varied workload and multiple priorities.
- Knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of people experiencing homelessness.
NSNO is the largest assessment service commissioned in the UK for people experiencing rough sleeping. St Mungo’s have been delivering this innovate service since 2011, the team continue to use their expert knowledge, learning and proven success as part of the Pan London Rough Sleeping Service to provide a rapid response, and intervention to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. Our priorities and approach
The Roddick Foundation was established by Gordon and Anita Roddick, founders of The Body Shop. We are entrepreneurial and activist, driving innovative programmes and focusing on people and organisations that take unconventional approaches to advancing justice and empowering communities. We do this through two areas of work; grant making and initiating and incubating system-change projects. Historically some of these include initiating and incubating the Big Issue and 38 Degrees.
Current projects include indigenous rights in Canada and Brazil, a farming cluster project in Wales and creating new ways of trading with indigenous food growers.
The projects are led by Sam Roddick who is a creative entrepreneur and who brings her creative and intuitive abilities to being an activist and leading visionary projects. This role will work closely with Sam who is neurodivergent and the postholder will support her to transform her ideas and creativity into tangible work projects.
About the role and you
This is a truly unique position. It is going to bring a new capacity to the great projects we run. You’ll be integrated into our talented and warm community of colleagues. What we need from the postholder are the creative skills to fully communicate Sam’s ideas and the work to a wide range of people and partners, and the organisational skills to support pacing and planning of projects, creating systems and processes to advance and document progress and learning. They will act as a kind of bridge, relaying Sam’s vision and ideas once they have been conceptualised to various project managers, partners, and other audiences. It’s important to say also that there are elements of some traditional PA support that are required.
If this is how your creativity operates – enabling bridges to be built and creating effective communications – then you might be the person Sam, and the projects, need.
The successful candidate may come from any of a wide array of relevant backgrounds, such as: creative writing, communications, public affairs, campaigning, advocacy, policy influencing, media work, etc. Their career to date could be any number of settings: from film or theatre to think-tanks, to NGOs or international development, to private companies, to research or academia etc. The bottom line is that we are open to where you have honed your communications and organisational skills, and we are excited to hear from you.

Location: Hybrid. Central London on Wednesdays and Thursdays, remote working on other days
Salary: £53,000- £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our talented and inspiring workforce are key to our success. Over 50 coaches and volunteers deliver inclusive sport to disabled people across London. We are looking for an equally driven person to manage this incredible team.
You will be recruiting new coaches and volunteers, developing a robust method to upskill and provide continued professional development so our coaches continue to be the best they can be.
You will support coaches to meet our delivery standards, working with them to understand the importance of our systems and processes. You will empower them to feel connected with Disability Sports Coach’s aims and objectives by working collaboratively with the charity’s core staff team.
You will establish communication channels to gather feedback and insights on the impact of our sessions from coaches working on the ground.
A large part of your role is acting as the project lead on our unique Inclusive Activity Leaders (IAL) programme. Delivered in partnership with Nike, IAL upskills aspiring disabled and non-disabled people to become qualified sports coaches, creating a more diverse coaching workforce. Your responsibilities include recruiting the cohort, planning and coordinating all aspects of delivery, providing ongoing support to Leaders, and overseeing project monitoring and evaluation.
This role will sit within a small and inclusive delivery team. About the opportunity:
The Tutor Communications Officer will work closely with the Communications and Media Manager to support all aspects of stakeholder communications and engagement at Action Tutoring. The role will require you to develop engaging and motivational content when communicating with our volunteer tutor network, schools and other stakeholders.
The Tutor Communications Officer will develop their data management and analytical skills, when evaluating the impact of communications and maintaining subscriber data. They will also develop detailed knowledge of our e-communications software (Campaign Monitor) to create precise and engaging email campaigns with accurate segmentation of recipients.
Comprehensive induction and training will be provided. Action Tutoring is committed to providing development opportunities for its staff and, as a growing charity, there are plenty of opportunities to take on new areas of responsibility.

Salary: £25,235 per annum plus London Weighting of £2,271 per annum (if applicable)
Contract and hours: Temporary 12-month full-time contract to cover sickness leave, or until the return of the postholder, whichever is earlier. We offer flexible hours with 9.30-4 as core hours. A full working week is 37.5 hours

About the role
This role sits within the account management team, which raises over £1.5 million annually through a range of long-term partnerships across multiple sectors – our partners include ghd, M&S, Primark and more. We’ve recently won multiple 7-figure partnerships launching in 2025, success for the team is only growing and we’d love you to be part of this with us!
The senior partnership manager is a key role within our account management team, responsible for delivering our most high value and strategic partnerships and generating over £1 million annually for Breast Cancer Now from this portfolio.
Reporting to the head of corporate partnerships (account management), you’ll manage this exciting and varied portfolio of sector leading partnerships, focusing particularly on income growth and delivering shared-purpose opportunities that strengthen and celebrate the relationships we have with these organisations.
As the main contact for these major partners, you’ll guide them through every stage of their relationship with Breast Cancer Now, always striving to achieve and exceed mutual goals.
You’ll also oversee the senior corporate partnerships officer, providing direction and senior level support as they manage their own portfolio of smaller partnerships.
Collaboration is essential in this role, working closely with the broader partnerships and engagement team, including new business and dedicated project teams (Asda partnership team and the senior stakeholder & stewardship lead).
With the direction and support from the head of corporate partnerships, you’ll set an example as we continually work to increase the overall effectiveness of our corporate partnerships & improve delivery across the full portfolio.
About you
You’re an experienced relationships manager with a proven track record of delivering high-value, strategic partnerships and you’re excited to work with some incredible and well-known brands at Breast Cancer Now!
You have experience creating partnership development plans, aligning partnership objectives with broader charity/organisational strategies to drive income and engagement.
Skilled at building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, you have experience securing long term commitment from partners & colleagues and you’re motivated to further develop partnerships at Breast Cancer Now for the benefit of those impacted by breast cancer.
You’re a strategic thinker whilst maintaining attention to detail. You have a proven track record in efficiently managing budgets, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance in all you do.
As a collaborative team player, you’re comfortable stepping in for senior leaders and leading cross-team projects. You have experience or a strong, proven interest in developing your leadership skills and understand the importance of providing clear updates and guidance to line reports, managers and fellow colleagues.
