Home-Start London is an independent charity that connects and strengthens the 16 local Home-Starts in the capital so that together we can reach more families. Collectively, our network supported over 6,500 families including 9,500 children last year.
About the role
Working closely with the Director and Home-Start staff, volunteers and partners across the capital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our joint projects and activities from our peer learning groups and network events to our growing portfolio of funded partnerships.
What you'll be working on:
- You’ll take the lead on coordinating our peer learning groups, joint research and volunteer recruitment campaigns
- You’ll support the Director to secure and manage funding partnerships, including monitoring plans and budgets
- You’ll oversee development and monitoring of Home-Start London’s annual operational plan
- You’ll regularly engage with local Home-Starts and partners, ensuring they are shaping our work
- You’ll oversee logistics for network events
- You’ll provide administrative support, from raising invoices to organising/chairing network meetings
- You’ll create content for our website and social media to help promote our work
- You’ll manage office volunteers, ensuring they are happy, effective and well supported

About the role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IV Coordinator who will be responsible for the day to day running of the independent visitor service in Solihull and Bedford, splitting your time between these two services working 27 hours for Solihull and 8 hours for Bedford.
You will be responsible for managing and developing a pool of volunteers which includes the recruitment, training, and induction of new volunteers to become volunteer independent visitors, before matching them with a young person who has been referred to the service.

The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

We are looking for a Corporate Services Support Officer who will support our HR & IT functions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of employee recruitment, updating our policies and procedures, managing the IT requirements and maintaining the HR & IT databases. The coordinator roles are vital components of this project. We want to attract candidates from the South West of England with sound local knowledge and able to travel in the region - these will be important parts of this job.
Purpose of the roles:
- To be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch’s partner project involving Neighbourhood Watch volunteers within the South West.
- Recruit, training and coordinate volunteers so they can deliver information sessions to community groups.
- Research areas in needs of support and book venues where information sessions will be delivered by volunteers.
- Be able to travel to events in order to support volunteers and ensuring information sessions are delivered to the highest and consistent standards, and that feedback requests are acted upon swiftly.
Hours of employment are:
0.8FTE (28 hours per week)
8 months fixed term contract. Core hours are Monday to Friday 10am-12pm and 2-4pm with an unpaid lunch break.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.
The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for providing families (parents/carers and children up to ten years) affected by cleft with opportunities to access accurate information, connect with each other and form supportive communities.
