The Head of Delivery is responsible for all aspects of programme organisation and delivery. They are a vital and senior position expected to bring exceptional social work knowledge and expertise to the implementation and further development of Approach Social Work and wider work of the charity. They are required to work collaboratively with all teams on the programme, including curriculum, admissions and support, recruitment, partnerships and programme management.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about driving standards in social work through excellent practice, leadership and innovation, who can manage a geographically dispersed team and work effectively and closely with the Head of Delivery (North) and Head of Curriculum to ensure a consistent one-team approach to programme delivery.
The successful candidate will be a highly effective leader and manager of people with an ability to operationalise a large programme and develop strategic plans that support retention and quality. You will have a clear vision for outstanding social work practice and education with a commitment to systemic practice and other practice models.
Please note that you must be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and possess a Masters’ degree in Social Work (or related subject) to apply.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Setting a cohort culture with high expectations, strong support and commitment to the mission amongst participants.
- Responsible for ensuring programme quality in relation to teaching, learning and the placement experience.
- Being part of the wider leadership group that steers and embeds organisational culture and strategy
- Reporting and presenting on key performance metrics (KPM’s) to the Department for Education (DfE) and other stakeholders
A little bit about you
We’re looking for an experienced social worker and leader, who has a deep understanding of children and families’ social work within the local authority context. This is a senior leader role at Frontline, so in addition to the experience needed, a commitment to and passion for better social work and a leadership approach that is anti racist, rooted in equity, diversity and inclusion is paramount.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Delivery of Spear Programme
- As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
- You will be required to travel outside of London and potentially stay for a period of time at the centre. All business expenses will be covered during the working week.
Spear Centre Support
- You will form part of a central support team that enables Spear Centres to deliver high quality, high impact sessions to young people when one of their team is sick or the centre is short-staffed.
- You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK.
Trainee recruitment
- Supporting Spear Centres to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme, through active face-to-face recruitment.

- Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission.

Your purpose
To facilitate the Voice 21 approach in Voice 21 Oracy Schools through leading professional development and school improvement programmes, and by designing and delivering high impact learning experiences and materials for teachers and school leaders.
Your responsibilities
Quality programme delivery

Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school.

Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school and online consultancy support, and one-to-one advice.

Build credibility and purposeful relationships with programme participants, both at programme days and touchpoints, and on an on-going basis to drive impact in our schools.

Be responsible for participant learning and experience on your programmes, upholding high standards for all elements such as preparation, adapting to participant needs, content and rigour, on-going interactions and support, and participant feedback.
Learning content & programme development

Proactively share insights and learning from the programmes you deliver, proposing and shaping solutions to enable Voice 21 to continually improve its programme offer.

Apply and share expertise through varied outputs such as teaching materials, online learning content, resources, written or video outputs. Proactively identify and respond to opportunities or gaps and fulfil briefs or commissions.

Your experience

You are an excellent teacher (primary or secondary).

You are passionate about teaching and learning, and the role of talk in learning. You have used talk to support learning in your classroom.

You have experience leading whole-school change and inspiring teachers to embrace new approaches and ideas.

You have a knowledge of a range of speaking and listening techniques and contexts for oracy, these could include: debate, dialogic teaching, storytelling, public speaking or communication and language development.

You are a strong communicator both when working in a small team and when facilitating learning for large groups of adults.

You are flexible, can think on your feet and can bring your own experiences to the work we do.

You are highly-organised, look for solutions and can prioritise and manage a varied workload.

You are willing to travel nationally on a frequent basis (2-3 days a week) during term time; this will include regular overnight stays.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support to women and those assigned female at birth with endometriosis, for example through our website and information leaflets, and via our local support groups, Helpline and online forum. The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) is a registered charity working with schools, colleges and communities across the country to raise awareness about the Holocaust and its relevance today.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Production Officer to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we have recently launched Testimony 360, a brand-new digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can have a personal and conversational experience with a recording of a Holocaust survivor before seeing some of the sites they experienced for themselves using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Testimony 360 Team, responsible for the digital post-production and testing of interactive recorded testimony to ensure its fluency and usability in the classroom. We are looking for an individual with confident IT skills and the ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and programmes. As an expert in Holocaust education, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our Testimony 360 programme through weekly in-person school visits during term time or as required.
Responsibilities
Post-Production, interactive survivor testimony
· Lead on the development (post-production) of interactive testimony, including clipping, annotation, data/metadata input, and Alpha/Beta testing. Throughout testing, leading the training process which ensures the system’s accuracy.
· Maintain regular contact with our partner organisation, the USC Shoah Foundation, including progress updates, shared learning, required training.
· Support colleagues undertaking training and/or working on supportive post-production.
· Logging activity and decisions regarding the post-production editing process, as discussed with members of the Testimony 360 team and/or USC Shoah Foundation.
· Organise and deliver Alpha and Beta testing stages, working directly with students both online and in-person to deliver test sessions and action necessary follow up (to ensure learning from test sessions is fed back).
Delivery
· Contribute to delivery of Testimony 360 through regular, in-person school delivery as part of the wider team, ensuring that the programme is delivered through a robust pedagogical approach. Expected to deliver Testimony 360 one every two weeks throughout term time.
· Plan and deliver Beta testing sessions as part of the development of the interactive testimonies, sharing knowledge and expertise with other Education Officers supporting in this delivery.
· The successful applicant may also be expected to deliver educational sessions to students, teachers and our young Ambassadors outside the Testimony 360 programme and throughout the year. In-person sessions will take place in the UK and sometimes abroad.
General
· We expect all members of the Education team to share their learnings and expertise both internally and externally. This role will require discussions about our learnings from Testimony 360 with the wider Education team, and we encourage consideration for how these learnings might feed into our wider educational offer.
· As an educational charity, we must ensure that education about the Holocaust is the core of all work. To this end, members of the Education Team are responsible for supporting the wider teams as they develop, plan and deliver on broader public engagement, fundraising, and awareness-raising initiatives.

· By the start of the training, successful candidates must have permission to work in the UK full-time for the duration of the programme.

Salary:
We offer ways to complete teacher training while also receiving a salary. There will be a limit on how many salaried places are available. We’re looking for someone to work with schools across Lewisham to improve the education and health potential of Young Carers. You’ll work alongside our wider team supporting Unpaid Carers across the borough.
You’ll develop relationships with schools and school staff, raising awareness and supporting the identification of Young Carers within education settings, and supporting the development of policy, guidance and resources. You’ll work one-to-one and with groups of Young Carers, and carry out home-based visits to offer support interventions.
As a Young Carers Schools Coordinator, you will also support the planning and delivery of the service’s activity package, including respite activities, online groups and face-to-face sessions.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with children, young people, and families in social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Young Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. You should be confident engaging with young people and teaching and non-teaching school professionals at all levels.
