Job description
The Panathlon Foundation is seeking a highly motivated Major Trust and Major Donor Fundraiser to help it achieve its aims of supporting and developing the young Special Educational Needs children of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Panathlon Foundation due to demand for participation in its programmes seeks to add to its income generation streams in order to enable us to do more for SEND children through sport, leadership and inclusion. The Panathlon Foundation currently has over 66,000 participants with each year increase participation percentages, this is an opportunity to join a vibrant charity making transformational change.
The role will focus chiefly on sourcing funding from Major Trusts, potential National Lottery Community Fund, Charity of the Year and Individuals who share our goal of developing young people.
Our policy is to spend all that we earn on our programmes to reach more children. Our Annual expenditure and income is around £1 million each year and our aim is to increase this to around £1,400,000 by 2029. The successful applicant will have tried and tested Major Trust fundraising skills.
In addition, the successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills enabling them to encourage donations from major donors and all who would wish to support the development of our young people.
The role will work directly to the COO of the Panathlon Foundation, and as part of current fundraising resources we have in place , The role will be primarily working from home (although office space is available at the Panathlon office at Stansted Essex if required) with regular contact with the COO.
Specific knowledge of Major Trust and Donor Fundraising is essential and wider knowledge of other fundraising specialisms would be advantageous, such as Charity of the Year pitches.
Key Focus areas
- Expert knowledge of Major trust fundraising with a track record in designing and securing major gifts through written and/or verbal proposals.
- A track record in securing income from individual donors, Major Donors and Philanthropists including knowledge of legacy fundraising.
- Develop engaging supporter journeys and Legacy pipelines.

Flexible hours and working from home
The Organising and Local Mobilisation (OLM) Manager is responsible for managing ongoing support to food banks as they organise and campaign for change. This varied, proactive, and fast-paced role will involve working closely with grant funded Local Organisers as part of the Trussell Trust’s Organising Programme, frequently visiting food banks and delivering online and in person training.
You will hold responsibility for providing direct support as food banks develop effective campaign strategies – covering local and Trussell Trust priorities – and ensuring they have the capacity, skills, and resources to deliver them. You will also work closely with other departments at the Trussell Trust and external partners to support food banks outside of the Organising Programme to influence locally and play a leading role in mobilising them to campaign for change.
Role responsibilities
· Network area-wide delivery of the Organising Programme
Lead and manage the delivery of OLM’s Organising Programme in your network area, recruiting food banks to join, providing in-person and online training and ongoing relational support to Local Organisers to ensure campaign strategies are developed and delivered. Organise and lead area-wide training, clusters, or events for food bank staff and volunteers to promote co-operation and sharing of good practice around local influencing.
· Training, Learning and programme development
Play a key role in the design and delivery of a programme of training and other learning for food banks covering organising, mobilising, and influencing. Contributing to impact and process evaluations and assisting food banks involved to explore future sources of funding, as required.
· Supporting food banks to influence locally
Empower food banks to develop their local influencing work, triaging influencing issues and managing input from other relevant Trussell experts to provide ongoing support that enables the food banks to progress their influencing work.
· Mobilising food banks in the Trussell Trust’s campaigns
Support the development and promotion of national Trussell policy campaigns, working with other teams and external partners to engage the food banks you support in taking action – including how they might take ownership of campaigns locally and help shape those priorities.
· Internal stakeholder engagement
Project manage OLM’s involvement in assigned cross-organisational projects – e.g. a policy campaign or strategic project, ensuring the OLM tam are consulted, negotiating with other teams and making decisions accordingly. As part of an area-based matrix team you’ll work closely with other food bank facing staff to ensure a joined-up approach to food bank support, effective communication, as well as sharing learning and best practice.
· External stakeholder engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with food bank leaders, staff, volunteers, and trustees, as well as establishing effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders such as local authorities, community organisations, and churches.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Experience of delivering organising work and / or campaigning for change at a grassroots, local and / or national level.
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of the political landscape of your assigned area.
· A confident communicator with the ability to successfully influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders, including food bank staff and volunteers, local authorities, community organisations, and churches.

The role of Communications and Marketing Coordinator sits within the Communications Team at Kids Matter. As we seek to grow our audiences, our influence and ultimately our impact, it’s an exciting time to join the team. Overall purpose
This CRM Administrator role will sit within our Data and Innovation team. This team conducts analysis and creates systems to ensure that Breaking Barriers is as efficient, effective and evidence-based as possible. They help us to ensure we are continually providing the best possible support to our clients, as well as to demonstrate our impact and the need for our services to our supporters and partners. In addition, the team builds systems to assist the fundraising team in stewarding supporters and generating income.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing and improving the organisation’s database (Salesforce), training and supporting the end users of the CRM, and creating reports to analyse Breaking Barriers’ data. The CRM system is our ‘single source of truth’, and holds data relating to the clients we support, the activities they have participated in and the positive outcomes they have achieved, as well as information about all of our donors, event attendees, mailing list subscribers referral partners and other key contacts.
The role would suit someone with aptitude for thinking clearly about data, some experience in either CRM administration or data analysis, and a keen interest to learn more. There is scope to further develop a wide-range of data-related skills in the role, including transforming and analysing data in Excel, customising CRM systems, planning data architectures and conducting statistical analyses.

Role Summary
To provide administrative and operational support for Into Film’s Filmmaking programme, including the BFI-funded Young Creatives programme and our Every Child a Filmmaker initiative. The Role

More in Common is an international research and civic non-profit set up in 2017 to build communities and societies that are stronger, more united, and more resilient to increasing threats of polarisation and social division. We conduct some of the most widely quoted research in our field by looking at public opinion through the lens of identity, values, and beliefs. We leverage our findings to apply interventions with partners to counter polarisation and build stronger shared identities across lines of difference.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
More in Common is looking for a Grants Associate, a highly organised, mission driven individual who is as enthusiastic about identifying new funding opportunities and managing grant proposals as they are passionate about telling the story of our work to funders and partners.
This is a critical cross-functional role that will report to the Head of Development, and will work closely with More in Common’s Co-Founders, Country Directors, and Finance Team to ensure efficient grant management and to coordinate content development for internal and external reporting on grants. The Grants Associate will engage most closely with grants for More in Common’s European offices as well as cross-country grants on a wide range of issues from climate to migration and disinformation and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grants Associate will play a key role in supporting More in Common’s fundraising and grants management efforts across Europe. This fixed-term role (filling in for one of our colleagues who is going on parental leave) will focus on identifying new funding opportunities, developing relationships with funders, designing and managing multi-country grants, and providing fundraising and grants support to More in Common’s national teams.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of multi-country proposals, including project design, team coordination, proposal writing, funder liaison, and providing fundraising support to country teams as needed
- Researching new funding opportunities, from a variety of sources, including foundations and public funds and staying abreast of developments in the philanthropic sector
- Working with More in Common’s Co-founders, Country Directors, and Head of Development to maintain and strengthen funder relationships
- Supporting priority multi-country projects, including project management, consortium or team collaboration, and facilitating learning
- Leading on reporting for strategic multi-country projects, working closely with country teams to gather information and tell the story of More in Common’s work
- Contributing to More in Common's strategic planning processes, bringing a cross-country perspective and ensuring that lessons learned from projects are integrated into future work
- Representing More in Common at external events and conferences across Europe
- Tracking More in Common’s fundraising pipeline and grant lifecycle and working with the Head of Development in compiling quarterly fundraising board reports
- Working with the Head of Development to improve grant and project management processes and develop grants capacity-building resources and trainings for the global More in Common team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
We look for great people before we look for specific qualifications and experience. However, the following will be an asset for this role:
- 2+ years of professional experience working with grants – e.g., grant making, grant management, as part of a development team, or other similar work. Specific roles matter less than demonstrated familiarity with the grant application process and grant requirements.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
- French language fluency a plus; German, Portuguese, Polish or Spanish also beneficial
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work calmly under pressure
- Can-do attitude and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Grant writing experience preferred
- Familiarity with the institutional funding landscape in European countries with More in Common offices (France, Germany, UK, Poland, and Spain) and at the EU level; familiarity with the US a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Salesforce; experience with HubSpot is a plus

Prospectus is delighted to be working with a national health charity to support the search for a Corporate Partnerships Development Lead to join the Fundraising team.
This is an 18-month contract, offered on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours per week), with a salary of £50,000 per annum. The role can be fully remote (UK-based) or hybrid, with access to an office in Bath.
As the Corporate Partnerships Development Lead, you will be responsible for creating an active pipeline of qualified prospects, working closely with colleagues to develop compelling partnership propositions and new business plans. The organisation has conducted extensive research to identify areas of opportunity and has prepared tools and collateral to support business development activities. In this role, you will activate these resources, proactively approach potential partners, and establish new relationships.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about initiating and securing new business partnerships for the charity. They should have demonstrated success in a similar role and be ready to bring fresh ideas while collaborating across teams. Prior knowledge of the health sector is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
