Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (CDARS) is a charity organisation that provides psychological and social support to drug users and their family members.

The WCDAS and RCDAS Treatment services, led by South London and Maudsley (SLAM), are a community substance misuse ‘partnership’ service that offers a broad and inclusive range of support and treatment options for those seeking recovery from Substance use. This includes access to medical, psychological, and sustained recovery sessions within the Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond.
The Community Involvement Worker (CIW) will assist in delivering positive and improved outcomes for service users across both Boroughs and will work closely with the Community Involvement Co-Ordinator (CIC) to manage recruit, train and nurture peer mentors and service user representatives. This support will aim to build capacity and visible recovery across the boroughs. Both post-holders will help develop, train and nurture meaningful service user involvement through the Service User Council network and its representatives throughout the treatment system.
The post holder will need to work under the directives of the CDARS Wandsworth Management Team, with the objective of facilitating engagement in all aspects of service user involvement. The post holder will be expected to foster and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels within the partnership and establish good working relationships with other agencies, both voluntary and state, within the two Boroughs.

Main responsibilities and duties
To:
1. Coordinate and develop a wellbeing programme that supports the mental health and wellbeing of NST service users and the wider Braunstone community of LE3 1.
2. Support individual service user wellbeing by referring into activity delivered by NST and other local community partners.
3. Undertake regular wellbeing check-ins with service users to monitor progress and impact of engagement with wellbeing activity.
4. Update the company’s CRM system with participant information in line with GDPR and record progress and impact.
5. Develop, implement and maintain effective monitoring and recording systems: capturing and recording data to demonstrate the programme reach, providing reports and other information as required.
6. Support the Service Manager to maintain accurate budgets and financial records especially for monitoring funding grant returns.
7. Support the Service Manager in the development of funding bids to support delivery and expansion of the wellbeing programme.
8. Build and maintain partnerships which will support the development of wellbeing programmes.
9. Source, arrange and co-ordinate facilitators and practitioners suitable to deliver any planned activity.
10. Ensure that adequate risk assessments are undertaken prior to any activities and that confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed.
11. Support the Communications and Project Support Worker to promote the programme by developing copy and marketing material for circulation on the various company social media platforms and website.
12. Support the supervision of activities, including the staff and volunteers where applicable.
13. Represent and champion the services provided by NST as required at external events and meetings.
14. Work in partnership with the Wellbeing Facilitator to ensure that the over 50s programme is developed and delivered in line with the overarching wellbeing programme.
15. Work in partnership with the Training Support Worker to ensure the Men’s Group is delivered in line with the overarching wellbeing programme.
General Duties:
16. Attend and participate in team meetings, training and events that ensure the effective sharing of information and co-ordination the team’s activities.
17. Undertake administrative and maintenance duties that assist in the smooth running of the NS base. This will include taking collective responsibility in relation to matters of health and safety, equipment maintenance, data protection and confidentiality management; and visitor service and care.
18. Ensure that all NST activities are undertaken in line with the legal requirements and b inspired policy, procedures and good practice. This includes the production of risk assessments and other data that can demonstrate effective and safe planning.
19. Undertake consultations in-line with the Neighbourhood Action Plan and work alongside other members of the NST to gather, collate and analyse information that inform perceived local need/s.
20. Work outside normal office hours and at weekends as and when required.

The Opportunity
The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) role will be well-suited to someone who is focused on the best ways they can help the aims of the charity as well as those of our participants and partners. An APPC is responsible for supporting the delivery and development of the Social Mobility Foundation’s programme of activities for young people through their S5-6/sixth form and university years.
The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

1. Achieving Results
- Organising, supporting and delivering skills sessions, partner events, university trips, both in person and virtually across SMF cities and other parts of the UK.

As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. The Fundraising Manager – Legacies and Individual Giving is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from individual donors and legacy gifts. This is achieved through innovative campaigns that grow our supporter base, drive donations, legacy pledges and gifts as well as strengthening our brand.
The post holder manages external agencies specialising in individual giving and legacies and leads on our donor communication and engagement programme. The role supports the organisation’s purpose to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with visual impairment in Scotland by maximising fundraising income to deliver brilliant services and create a positive impact on our ability to deliver for the long term.
This role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser or manager level, with significant experience of individual giving especially as we see so much potential there. This role lines manages the Supporter Fundraiser (covering community and events) and the Fundraising and Engagement Administrator, so it is a great opportunity to broaden understanding and experience of leading other income streams.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.
Our dedicated staff team is the key to our success, expanding the amount of research that we fund five times over in four years. PCR has been shortlisted for an Impact Prize and won the Change Project of the year award in 2023.
It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team, whilst refreshing our structure and roles to make priorities clear and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges. This requires a proactive approach, an eagerness to learn and a readiness to get stuck in with a positive attitude, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past. You will work closely with the Virtual & Challenge Events Manager, existing Events & Community Officer/ Executives, and the whole team – sharing best practice, learnings and supporting each other to reach and exceed our shared goals.
This role will focus on virtual & challenge events activities but will get exposure to the full range of our events & community fundraising portfolio for your development and interest – and you will receive the training and support needed to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
Event management and delivery

Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on, keeping an eye on objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities to improve and maximise fundraising are seized.

Create and follow action plans for your projects, taking responsibility for processes and delivery of tasks on time.

Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and third-party organisations.

Ensure all fundraising activities promote PCR’s brand and have a strong connection to people with prostate cancer.

With the support of the team, analyse results based on KPIs & feedback, and proactively suggest changes & improvements.
Stewardship

Lead on delivering PCR’s supporter journeys for your projects, providing a high level of stewardship with an understanding of the connection between engagement and the income & awareness raised for PCR.

Lead on relationship management as required for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Carry out regular stewardship tasks including content delivery, the management of stewardship tools (e.g. Mailchimp, GivePanel & Kudosity) and responding to supporter queries via all channels. Plenty of training on tools will be provided!

Collaborate with the team on the upkeep of supporter journeys, using feedback & data to spot opportunities for constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR and motivating them to raise more and remain loyal supporters.
Marketing and Recruitment

Work with the Events team managers and external marketing consultants to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation, making best efforts to hit acquisition targets for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Create & deliver marketing plans and assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our existing & target audiences.

With the support of team managers, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and Database

Manage stock fulfilment, sending merchandise to supporters and replenishing materials as required, ensuring high quality, good value and an appropriate & creative application of PCR’s brand.

Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required, including coding, database administration, paying invoices and tracking income & expenditure in logs.

Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations and PCR’s policies.

Take an active role in training & webinars to improve your knowledge of the database and compliance requirements.
Strategy and Development

Always have an eye on new opportunities and ideas to inject into your projects, taking a test & learn approach.

Contribute to team strategy and budgeting work, working with Events team managers to create exciting plans.

Lead on relevant projects to improve the Events team’s infrastructure, stewardship, content, processes & compliance.

We are currently seeking a Corporate Partnership Fundraiser to join our passionate and dedicated fundraising team. In this vital role, you will focus on securing new and managing existing corporate partnerships in the Derbyshire and North Leicestershire area to generate essential income for Rainbows Children's Hospice, enabling us to continue providing outstanding care and support to babies, children, young people, and their families.
Hours of work: This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the very occasional evening or weekend for Events.
Location of work: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based (an initial hospice-based period is required for onboarding and familiarisation with the team and our mission). You will be managing the North Leicester (including Loughborough) and Derbyshire areas.
