Ideally, you will have previous experience of completing Prospective Adopter’s Reports, or similar reports such as Form Fs, and/or experience in family finding activity for children requiring permanence.

As a Family Support Hub Officer, you will work within our Family Support Hub, liaising with identified partners to provide enhanced support to families caring for a child with a life limited illness. We do this through the provision of supported housing and enhanced management services for individuals with multiple disadvantages, who are in housing need.

The successful candidate would work across all DASH supported housing projects, but primarily within our Dispersed Service based in the Durham area. Oakview is a supported living project for 10 customers with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control for customers, enabling them to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community. Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. This includes providing personal care, domestic duties, emotional and social support in a person centred way. Staff will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
The service is staffed 24/7 and all staff is required to cover at least one sleep in a week.

What you'll do:
- If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
- Participate in the support planning and risk management, as facilitated by the lead Support Worker

40% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children.
We are seeking a part-time Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI), based at Galleywall Primary School in Southwark, South London. This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.
For your caseload of target children, you will conduct an initial baseline assessment and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

Colindale Services are a mental health, care home and supported housing services, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to our residents aged 18 and upwards to relearn or develop independent living skills. The services apply a strength-based approach; helping individuals using the service to develop resilience, build on natural community supports and social networks, develop life skills and to access community provision and universal services to maintain and maximise their health, wellbeing and independence. Family Support Team Leader (Family Hub Outreach Service), 28 hours per week, £35,012 per annum pro-rata (including London weighting), Central & East London. Fixed term to end March 2026
This is a highly rewarding role for a Team Leader to manage and coordinate the Outreach Service and other projects in Central & East London area, including recruitment, training and line management of staff and volunteers for the projects. The Team Leader will manage and deliver the Outreach service, for parents (of children 0-5 years) but this may change in future and will work closely with the Befriending Services.
We are looking for someone who have management experience for staff and can work under highly pressurised circumstances and competing demands. Experience of home visiting vulnerable families, excellent I.T skills and presentations skills with ability to engage with different audiences are essential.
You are required to have experience of writing reports to a high standard, collating data and information in an accessible format as well as ensuring can bring team on board to achieve targets and milestones in timely manner. Engaging in leadership meetings and representing Family Lives, experience of safeguarding and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity are essential.
The salary for 28 hours per week is £28,010.08 per annum

Robin Hood Avenue is a small mental health, supported housing service, working to a recovery model. Purpose of this role
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver activities to young people within the school that contribute towards the development of happy, thriving and resilient young adults. The role will promote their positive school experience and contributions to society.
This role is to provide sustained support to vulnerable young people within the school, helping them to overcome issues, before they become potentially serious problems.
Responsibilities
- Work co-operatively with the school, under the management of The Eikon Charity staff to ensure the highest quality of delivery and support
- To build positive and supportive relationships with young people within the school who are struggling to participate positively with their school experience
- To assess the needs and strengths of the referred young person, plan effective and engaging activities which aim to improve mental health and well-being and build on existing strengths and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change.
- To create and deliver engaging activities that meet the identified needs for both individual and groups and enable active participation during the school day and in extracurricular opportunities if required. These may include one to one sessions, targeted groups and lunch clubs etc,
- To review and evaluate activities to ensure needs are met and to inform effective development of future activities
- To ensure that all work is integrated with other in-school support services by building effective relationships with existing pastoral staff
- With school staff, identify emerging needs, analyse needs and create an effective response to meet those needs.
- Manage referrals and caseloads in partnership with school and Eikon line manager
- Keep up to date and accurate records and case notes on the Evide case management and Goal Based Outcomes systems.
- To collect and share case studies that demonstrate good practice and the impact of interventions on outcomes for children and young peoplePlan group or individual engagements, evidence progress and celebrate achievement with young people.
- To create regular opportunities for young people to share their views with each other and school staff, capturing their voice to improve wellbeing across the school

We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Youth Worker (Youth Voice), supporting our mission to enable young people who are homeless, facing homelessness or unsafe to achieve independence and positive futures.
The successful candidate will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in ensuring a diverse range of young people’s voices are heard, facilitating inclusive activities which increase youth participation across all our services and leading on the delivery of our youth forums. We have an ambitious plan to improve and accelerate our youth voice strategy and this role will be at the heart of this delivery.
You should be experienced in designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities and group work with and for young people and be able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about youth engagement and skilled in bringing out the ideas, voices and opinions of young people to shape service delivery. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in running participatory youth projects, co-production, youth engagement sessions and/or community engagement.
The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively across our organisation. This role also includes working closely with our Campaigns, Impact and Policy team to ensure young people’s voices are at the heart of our external campaigning work.
Finally, you will also be committed to the safeguarding of young people and delivering an inclusive and trauma-informed service.
This role will be based at our day centre in Camden, with some travel to other New Horizon projects within London.
