About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the UK-wide Volunteering Team, as the lead representative for Northern Ireland.  

As the Volunteering Development Manager, you will support the development of key volunteering initiatives and projects both across the UK and Northen Ireland. You will play a key role in supporting colleagues in Northern Ireland to identify opportunities to embed volunteering across their work.

Contributing to Sustrans 5-year volunteering strategy aims, you will work closely with the Head of Volunteering to shape and implement this within Northern Ireland. 

You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as partner organisations and the UK-wide volunteering development network. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans. 

About you 

You should have substantial experience of volunteer engagement and development across all stages of the volunteer journey. You will be experienced in project coordination and implementation. You should also be successful in partnership working with voluntary groups and the private sector. Equity, diversity and inclusion should be evident with impact across your experience.

You will be skilled in training and facilitation delivery.

About Chichester District Foodbank:

Chichester District Foodbank was founded in 2012 and has four foodbanks in Chichester, Midhurst, Petworth and Selsey.  We are part of the Trussell Trust network providing emergency food and support for people locked in poverty and campaign for change to end the need for foodbanks.

Manage conception, design and development, implementation of communications materials and campaigns and analyse outcomes.

This role is part of the Wiltshire Project which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse for victims and their children.

Working with children and young people, the team will focus on delivering timely and high quality, trauma informed support to children who have been the victims of domestic abuse.

This is a fixed term position to November 2025.

This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.

In addition, there will be the opportunity to work with the team and manager to develop and deliver new group work provision for young people.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

· To provide high quality, specialist support to children who have lived in a domestically abusive family.

· Enabling young people to access statutory and other services where appropriate.

· Managing a caseload and working proactively to support young people and their families.

· To deliver educational, time-bound, 1 to 1 support sessions for children and young people.

· Provide specialist support to child victims, with a focus on empowering young people to make informed decisions.

· Ensure that children and young people have a thorough understanding of what constitutes a ‘healthy relationship’.

· Undertake risk assessments and implement robust safety management plans.

· Give practical and emotional support to children affected by domestic abuse.

· Work closely with multi-agency partners and the wider Wiltshire team to ensure that we maintain a focus on risk management and safeguarding.

· Work with your team and manager to develop early intervention resources.

· Engaging with and supporting the MARAC and MASH process, to ensure that the voice of victims is heard.

This role will be based in our Trowbridge office, with a requirement to travel across Wiltshire. FearFree supports staff to work flexibly, with an ability to work in a hybrid fashion, both at home and in the office.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies.
• Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
• Assess, manage and review risks to service users, colleagues and self, according to agreed procedures.
• Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk.

Hope Place is a new supported accommodation service located in Slough comprising 10 self contained rooms with a staff office on site. The service accommodates and support people who experience moderate to high complex mental illness, many of whom will also have a range of additional and complex needs, for example drug and alcohol misuse issues and personality disorders.

Hope Place provides care and support for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays. The service is covered at night by designated Waking Night staff. Support Workers will be required to work on a rota basis, covering early and late shifts, including at weekends and Bank Holidays.

The service has a focus on enabling and utilise customers' skills. Amongst other responsibilities, the successful candidates will support service users to acquire tenancy sustainment and budgeting skills, encourage and facilitate group activities, socialisation, opportunities for training and employment.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus. Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. Job Purpose 
Growing Hope is a national charity with a growing number of clinics across the UK. This operations role will provide support across the Growing Hope national staff team. This will include support with administration, finance, fundraising and training. This role is key in enabling all the functions of the national charity to run smoothly and effectively. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow. It is anticipated that this time will be flexible and adjusted according to the needs and priorities at the time. Specifically the role with include: 

IT administration

• Administration of IT systems, logins and spreadsheets for the team, volunteers, staff and freelancers (keeping these up to date and amending systems as required).
• Ordering and setting up IT hardware and software for individuals joining the team.
• Oversight of IT systems used by Growing Hope including ticket tailor, jot form, mail chimp, Microsoft office, google adverts and tracking. Supporting with problem solving when issues arise. 
• Overseeing and training others in Canopy (clinic administration software) and helping support and problem solve with using this. This includes liaising with a freelance software developer to manage the development project.

HR administration

• Oversight of the recruitment checking process for new volunteers, trustees, freelancers and employees. This includes carrying out DBS checks, calling referees, chasing for references and communicating with individuals as they start with Growing Hope.
• Management of the ‘internal news’ list in order to track individuals working closely with the charity. 
• Writing, drafting and sending out HR letters, contracts and contract variations. 
• Organising internal events on behalf of the team including away days, training days and ad hoc events. 
• Organising online training as required for members of the Growing Hope team.

Office Support

• Overseeing the day to day office and building use including the alarm, maintenance visits, wifi, printer and other equipment. This includes liaising with other individuals who have office use.
• Liaising with the Director of Operations around the use of the office.
• Ordering office supplies as required, ensuring office space and storage is kept organised. 
• Supporting with external events planning including finding venues, sponsorship and items needed.
• Ordering equipment as required across the team.

Volunteer admin support

• Processing volunteer applications and induction as required.

Person Specification

• This role has an Occupational Requirement to be a Christian, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010.  Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work with Microsoft word, excel, outlook and ppt efficiently and effectively.

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Lead on maintaining all budgeting and forecasting templates and reports. Identifying areas of improvement and ensuring that the templates are kept relevant as the organisation develops
Support with financial evaluation of new business opportunities and their impact on Look Ahead's long term financial viability.

Previous experience of planning and budgeting and delivery of key reports in a large organisation.

As the Poppy Appeal Manager in South East London, your main role is to achieve income, expenditure, and contribution targets, ensuring the success of the appeal. It is the most isolated and disadvantaged groups of EU citizens who are struggling the most. Our charity Settled is the leading advice and support provider for EU citizens in the UK. We have secured funding for 2 new posts targeted at addressing these needs. The first is for a Romanian speaker based in London and Kent who can address the needs of the Roma community, including making a short information video. The second will be based in Scotland and work particularly with homeless EU citizens. Both posts will be expected to develop relationships and work closely with other support organisations. Who we are looking for 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our Special Events Team as Senior Special Events Fundraiser.

We have some exciting events coming up including a reception in October and a high-profile dinner at The Design Museum in November, so we need somebody to come in and hit the ground running. Please note that these events are in the evenings so the role will require some flexibility.

You will work closely with the Head of Special Events to deliver our events, taking responsibility for key elements of the management and delivery of each event and ensuring they meet budget targets. You will collaborate with internal teams on delivering events, including the bi-annual Patrons’ Club Reception and other events that arise over the year.

Relationship building (both externally and internally) is a key part of the role and an integral part of working for JDRF so you will have excellent interpersonal and stewardship skills.

As a highly creative and confident fundraiser, you will be given the scope to develop existing events as well as creating new and innovative events to increase fundraising as well as raising awareness of JDRF. 

Experience required 

You’ll have previous experience of: 

• Managing successful Special Events from concept to post-event evaluation

• Developing event plans and materials

• Building relationships with high level supporters, senior volunteer committees and external suppliers

Key Responsibilities 

Mainstream Meaningful Youth Participation

• Work with the Youth Voice Volunteer Team to support capacity building in Member Organisations*, this may include:

• Delivering workshops about meaningful youth participation.

• Creating tailored action plans with Member Organisations.

• Developing resources to support meaningful youth participation projects at national to local level.

• Collaborate with different WAGGGS teams to embed meaningful youth participation into event planning and delivery, for example:

• Ensuring youth participation is happening throughout the planning and delivery process.

• If an event is aimed at young people, supporting the programme to be relevant, exciting, accessible and learner-led for the participants.

• Champion intergenerational leadership** to make sure everyone knows they have a part to play in a Movement led by girls and young women.

• Put the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion into action by not taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach to work.

• Apply intersectionality and be aware of the global, multilingual context of WAGGGS in all areas of work.

Support Young People in Governance

• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of existing recommendations produced by youth-led research into young women in governance.

• Assess what is needed to continue to grow WAGGGS’s meaningful youth participation practice in the governance space.

Ensure Meaningful Participation of Girls and Young Women 

• Support the participation of girls and young women in WAGGGS activities across the organisation through, for example,
