The Senior Organic Social Media Manager will play a leading role in UNICEF UK’s Organic Social team. You will support the Head of Organic Social Media to deliver an engaging social media strategy with our audience across our channels, supervising two and supporting the Head of Organic Social Media. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the content on our channels supports UNICEF UK’s strategic priorities and upholds our brand values and inclusive storytelling principles. You will have a keen editorial eye across copy and content, collaborating with team members and key stakeholders to deliver best practice social media content.

This is a versatile role which requires significant experience and knowledge of audience insights and behaviour and the ability to apply this insight and evidence in an external and internal context to inform decision making. You will have significant experience of working in organic social media and communications for a complex global organisation with significant experience in risk management and mitigation in the social space. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, at times this will include our Global Head Quarters. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Organic Social Media during times of crisis communications, including social listening.

This role will require some out-of-hours and weekend work for large-scale events, and you will join the team as a representative of the out-of-hours on call rota.

In 2024, Tower Hamlets received Trailblazer funding to develop and implement new models of community-based mental health care that integrate clinical and voluntary sector provision, in line with  The Community Mental Health Framework.

The Tower Hamlets Mental Health Alliance (THMHA) was formed two years ago to create a bold new community-based mental health support service for Tower Hamlets residents. THMHA consists of 18 Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE) service providers that have come together in partnership. Alongside THMHA members, Look Ahead, and East London Foundation Trust, we are implementing a new community-based, 24/7 mental health care system that prioritises the tailored needs of individuals facing mental health challenges. Coproduction and Community Engagement (CCE) Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the services at the Barnsley Street Project are designed and delivered in true partnership with the local community. Role description: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our Fundraising Team as the Community Fundraiser. You will lead, plan, cost and deliver an exciting and varied community fundraising programme to grow income and a strong return on investment. Main Responsibilities: 

• To develop, support the delivery of and evaluate a strategic supporter journey and stewardship journey across the community fundraising programme focused on generating net return and supporter retention.  

• To create and increase awareness of fundraising for Southampton Hospitals Charity across all University Hospital Southampton sites working closely with the Marketing and Communications team

• To foster effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, doctors, nurses, care group managers etc

About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information.

If applying for the Waking Night role, you will have the additional support of an on-call manager should there be any emergencies. Further to this, you will be involved in monthly team meetings and receive monthly supervision.

Applicants should have

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (i.e. Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People Workforce with the children's social care pathway) or be willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years as per Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (England).

As a key part of our team, you'll work alongside young people to provide homelessness crisis support when needed. You’ll get to meet and engage with volunteers, partners, and the wider community, helping to reduce youth homelessness through education, life skills, training, and collaborative partnerships.

The Homelessness Prevention Co-ordinator will support young people by assessing their housing needs, facilitating placements, liaising with our volunteer hosts and providing crisis support where necessary. About Us

Get Further is an award-winning charity that helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds secure essential English and maths qualifications. We support students in further education by providing specialist tuition, helping them progress into higher education, apprenticeships, and employment. Our programme has been proven to significantly improve student outcomes, with students on our programme more likely to improve by at least one grade compared to the national average.

To help more students get further, we are seeking a driven and passionate Head of Fundraising who will build relationships with major donors to the charity – especially Trusts and Foundations – to secure a significant portion of the charity’s income.

The successful candidate will report to the COO and focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships to secure 5-6 figure gifts over the coming years. You will proactively engage with prospective funders, write high-quality applications and deliver excellent supporter engagement, including tailored reports and case studies

About the Role

The Head of Fundraising will be a key member of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and take ownership of our Fundraising Strategy to support the diversification of our income. This role is vital to our future growth and sustainability, and an opportunity to lead an exciting part of the charity which makes a real difference to the students we support.

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029. 
• Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
• Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.
• Contribute to and attend internal/external events on behalf of Get Further as required.

Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
• Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
• Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
• Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.

Team Management and Collaboration

• Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.
• Work closely with the COO to develop budgets to accompany applications and provide financial reports to funders and partners.
• Work closely with the Impact Team to develop efficient processes for impact reporting to funders.
• Support the COO to ensure that policies relating to fundraising are up to date and fit for purpose.
• Provide expertise to the Senior Management Team on philanthropic opportunities and ensure fundraising is conducted in line with the relevant legislation and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
